I'm 5'9'' and the 4L was just perfect with 2" heels. There was a tail in the back but it didn't pose any problems. It is a beautiful dress; it definitely stands out in the crowd. The only thing that bugged me was the wiring down the right side over the breast. It kind of stuck out; it wasn't really noticeable but it annoyed me a tad. Otherwise, I loved it!
