“Perfect for a Roaring Twenties Benefit!”

I wore this for a Roaring Twenties benefit for work (attire was "cocktail" and/or period-appropriate). Although many styles from the twenties involve plunging necklines and exposed backs, this was a work event that I was attending with colleagues and bosses, so I wanted to be a bit more covered up. However, the drop waist was perfect, and made the look so authentic for the period. I also wore the 4, even though I'm typically a 2 - the 2 fit fine, but the 4 was more of a straight-line shift look, which was more authentic. The skirt has a fair amount of stretch, and for any other event the 2 would have looked great. I styled this with elbow-length black gloves and the Dress Me Up Necklace (which was SO perfect) - as well as a faux bob. Overall, it worked really well for the event!
