I rented this capelet for an outdoor wedding ceremony that took place in LA in early December. The timing of the ceremony was after sunset so it was definitely chilly. Even though I had rented a longer dress, I was so happy I had this capelet as well to keep warm. I also wore this capelet the night before to the rehearsal dinner. Just wearing it on to and from the car was a nice accessory to have for the evening. 

It was very comfortable, the perfect accessory, and worth the money. I didn't want to return it!

Loved this feather caplet. Weather was warmer than I anticipated so I really only had it on to and from the car. Very formal. 

Capelet stayed on shoulders even when it wasn't snapped.  I was amazed considering I have narrow shoulders.

Fuzzy throw.  added a nice "fancy" feel to the dress.  

This came in super handy at a winter wedding where I wore a dress that needed some coverage on the top half. It kept me really warm- I didn't need a jacket for running in and out of the venue to cabs. Looked glamorous and was fun to wear. 

Perfect condition, looked amazing in the photos and muted the November chill at our wedding!!

Luxurious topper, perfect finish for any formal gown

I felt like a movie star all night!  It was surprisingly warm during the chilly night reception and was the perfect formal wear cover up. Quite a number of ladies came to pet it and they all loved that is was so soft and REAL, yet it was my little secret I didn't pay REAL full retail. Thank you RTR! 

Overall its a nice size to add a fun vintage touch to an outfit and provide a little warmth (it's more like a scarf than a jacket though in terms of additional warmth. The only problem I had was that the clasp was not working.  It may need a repair.  

I did not have an appropriate coat or wrap to wear to a black tie gala in Chicago...in February. This worked like a dream! Lightweight but warm, but not too warm (I actually kept it on my shoulders in a chilly ballroom) and it added the perfect element of old school glamour over my dress. I got compliments on it all night! Only complaint was that it still smelled faintly of someone else's perfume, but nothing over the top or unbearable.

This was the perfect addition to my already amazing outfit from rent the runway! It looks like fur, but when you touch it, you can tell its feathers. I got so many compliments on it! We went on the steamboat Natchez  on the Mississippi River for a function on a cold night. It kept me warm enough so we could be outside to enjoy the view. Definitely a great option to elevate and complete your look on a fancy cold evening. I'll definitely rent again when the time comes. 

It was warm but very lightweight. Made of feathers, which I loved. A great accent piece. 

I didn't realize it was feathers when I ordered it. I assumed it was fur. The feathers were beautiful though. I got a ton of looks as I entered the room and I definitely think a piece like this brings your outfit to the next level of class.

This was a great alternative to wearing a bulky coat to my black tie gala. I will rent this again! 

When the dress I ordered was unavailable for a formal masquerade fundraiser, and the replacement options didn't fit/work, I opted at the last minute to get this wrap to glam up a dress from my own closet.  It was fun and did keep me warm so I didn't have to check a fall coat. The feathers were showing a little wear when I got it, but only noticeable very close up.

Great formal layer for an indoor/outdoor event where the outdoor low temps were in the 50s.  When indoors, I held the capelet over my arm and it looked like another glamorous piece to my ensemble.  The only thing- I wish it had a small pocket for my lipstick- that would have been perfection! Beautiful and lightweight.

Loved this!!!! It was warm and beautiful with my dress. It topped off my Great Gatsby gala look. 

Loved this so much the first time (pictured here) that I rented it again a few month later! 

The fit was so nice and this was the perfect wrap for a chilly night. I was plenty warm enough and got lots os compliments. 

I wore this great light weight capelet for an outdoor wedding in November that still showed off the great dress I chose.  The weight is very light, and it's not actually fur, but feathers, which made it insulating enough without feeling heavy or stuffy.  I was sad to have to return it, it would made a great addition to my accessories collection!

I received loads of complements. It added the perfect 1920's edgy twist to my outfit. 

I rented these for my bridesmaids at my January wedding so they could stay warm when we took pictures outside! They were perfect.

I wish I could have kept the fur so I could wear it to more events! I loved how expensive it made my outfit look. Definitely a must-get item.

I wore this to my company's Old Hollywood themed winter party. It was the perfect finishing touch for my 20's starlet costume. I felt like an old movie star! And it was warm!

I had planned to wear a black cocktail dress for this wedding, but when the temp plummeted to 30 degrees and we were going to be outdoors on top of Aspen mountain, I opted for a plain black wool dress (and black uggs!) paired with this wrap, which I ordered at the last minute.  It was PERFECT!  Everyone was stuck wearing winter coats over their dresses, and I felt warm/fashionable/loved this look.  Will definitely rent again for any formal event this winter.

I wore this at a Rat Pack Christmas party in Southern California instead of a coat - it was the perfect accessory!

Unlike others, I did NOT experience any shedding. We ended up having to take the metro to the inaugural ball and I had this wrap over my coat, while on the metro AND I wore it during the actual ball. This wrap made me, my dress and just my look complete/stand out.  I loved loved loved the little hook so I didn't have to worry about it coming/falling off.  I would rent this again and AGAIN!

I loved that this coverlet kept me warm enough while providing the wow factor to pull the look together! A great cover up for a special event. It felt rich on!
