I was very excited to receive this dress because I thought it looked gorgeous in photos, but I was very disappointed when it arrived. It was probably the lowest quality dress I've gotten from RTR. If I would have come across this dress in a store, I wouldn't have spent more than $20 on it. The fabric was very cheap looking (and feeling) and a lot of the hems were fraying. The slit in the front went up so high, I could never have actually worn it in public. If I were to wear this dress, it would have to be in a casual setting.

Sexy, yet appropriate and boho chic with a touch of glam!

The dress fit was true to size. I was worried about the length since I'm 5'2" but the 4R was perfect with 4 inch heels. The dress was flowy and sexy especially with the slits on the side. The fabric is light and the pattern is very boho chic, but the gold thread running through (which you can really see in the pic) gives it that finishing glam, formal look. I high recommend this dress!

Very pretty, not a huge attention getter, but that's not why I rented it, just wanted to wear a pretty dress. The sheer is really nice, but the shorts underneath have to be snapped like a baby onesie and if you have a big butt, forget it. Every time I sat down, the buttons would unsnap which was a bit frustrating, but I would just leave it, it's a little like a short slip which worked fine. Very nice dress, has a slit on both sides, which looks kind of funky, but nevertheless I liked it.

I rented this dress in hopes of wearing it to a destination wedding in carmel, CA. Unfortunately, the "shorts" underneath proved to be pretty unflattering on me. I also think that the coloring of the dress wasn't too flattering on my ultra pale skin…perhaps if you have a darker skin tone or a great spray tan then this might be nice for a warm weather event.

I am 5'7 and I went with the regular because I wanted to wear flats for my 30th birthday in Napa Valley. It was WAY too short. If you are 5'6 or above, you will want to go for the long. If you have a small bust, be sure to go with the 4 or 2 (even if you're a 6). There is a lot of extra fabric on top.

There are shorts inside, and it can be day dressy or evening dressy when worn with black. But, it is also anough of a "resort" dress to not look overdone. GREAT! If you are deciding between two sizes - size up.

Very pretty dress!

The size 6R fit perfectly, however, the length was extremely short, especially with 4in. heels. I ended up wearing the size 8R which gave me a little bit more length. The snaps on the bodysuit kept opening when I sat , but you couldn't even notice.

This dress is very pretty, but didn't work for me. It's lovely and flowing, but didn't fit my body type. I have an hourglass figure with broad shoulders and slim hips and thighs. It just didn't flatter my particular type of figure. But, I would recommend it for someone with narrow shoulders. It's very pretty!

I wore the dress with flat gold sandals, and it came to ankle length on me which I didn't like when I first tried it on, but when I actually wore it, it didn't matter. Because of the light fabric and splits, the dress flows with the wind and when you walk. The splits are very high...very close to the shorts, so if you are not comfortable with that, this is not the dress for you. You are covered by the shorts, but I did get a couple of stares from the elderly ladies when the wind started blowing lol. I'm tall so I have more leg to show :)

Summer wedding

Overall I liked this dress. The colors were very pretty and it was great to keep me cool at a wedding in August in the CA desert. My main problem with this dress was the bloomers. They have snaps at the crotch... think 80s/90s body suit snaps. It's a great idea in theory, but I don't know if it was because I am too tall for the dress, but every time I bent over, the snaps came undone. It's not that big of a deal, I dont think anyone could really tell when they were undone, but it made me a bit self conscious. The dress is beautiful and very unique. I'd recommend it especially for those a bit shorter than me.. even half an inch.

This dress is gorgeous! I wore it while 14 weeks pregnant and the fit was fine. I received so many compliments... Even people telling me they liked it from the street! My only complaint was that all of the snaps at the bottom of the romper were broken :( I have not called about this yet, but will post how this is handled. Overall loved the experience and the dress!

I ordered this dress in both a 4 and a 6 for my sorority's formal and ended up wearing the 4. Let me tell you...you will feel like a goddess in this dress! It's so unique and beautiful! The fabric, including the romper underneath, is very light so it's best worn during the summer or in a warm climate. It's best for someone who loves their legs but I was confident in it. I paired it with earrings picked by the RTR stylists and I absolutely loved my look!

This is such an amazing dress! I got SO MANY compliments on the dress and how great I looked I wore it to a country wedding outside of Austin, Texas and I looked FABULOUS! It was breezy outside so the dress looked amazing! The slits in the front of the dress (the bottom) are high, but there are built in shorts that cover up what needs to be covered. I held my head high and let the dress speak for itself in the wind! The tie around the neck isn't attached (translation: you're able to move it around to where you want) so make sure to have tweezers handy to pull the tie back through the loops. The hidden side zipper is great! The black belt is fixed on the dress and does not stretch. I wore spanx and it was perfect!

Loved this dress. I wore it to a beach wedding and got a ton of compliments. I had to rent the long version because the regular was booked, I'm about 5'5 1/2" so I was worried it would be way too long, but it worked with high heels. The romper-type shorts were great, much easier to manage than I expected because they snap at the bottom. The halter scoops pretty low in the back and on the sides, so I ended up wearing an adhesive bra rather than a strapless. Overall, the dress was gorgeous, chic, and I didn't want to send it back.
