I ended up wearing the size 10 and I was super glad it fit considering that the size 12 has some serious quality issues. I would have been super upset if I ended up needing the 12 because the crinoline and the under layer of the skirt were sticking out of the hem of the dress by a couple of inches!! The size 10 fit perfectly and I got a lot of compliments on the color. I was able to wear a regular strapless bra with the dress. The top of the dress felt a little large in the 12 (my normal size) so it is definitely a great dress for the busty type. The pockets were super fun too!

I ordered a 10 and a 12 – and ended up wearing the 10. It was a snug fit through my chest area, but because it’s a full skirt it was really roomy and comfortable. I also LOVED having the pockets. I ended up not wearing a bra – but I was wishing I had my strapless or those sticker bra cups. I usually wear black to everything, but I was hosting a baby shower (during the day) and wanted to be festive. This was the perfect dress for the occasion! I added a nude wedge, pearl earring and a big cocktail ring and it was fab! Thanks RTR!

I ordered this dress in both 8 and 6, but the 8 was too large at the top. Luckily I managed to squeeze into the 6 and it was perfect, but tighter than I wanted. I'm also short, so this was a good length too. I also went without a bra because the back is very low. Since it was tight on me, and I'm not big chested, I was able to get away with it.

I normally wear a 10, but sometimes need a 12 because my waist is wide. The zipper was definitely tight on the 10, but the 12 was just too baggy and the straps wouldn't even stay up, so I wore the 10. Because of my straight figure, I generally wear more of a "column" shaped dress, and this was a lot of skirt for me. It might not have been the most flattering shape for my figure, but it was fun. The event we attended was themed with the colors being "black with a touch of magenta." The dress was comfortable and very good quality. The back is wide so I wore a strapless longline bra and had no problems. The dresses arrived on time, and were clean and well-maintained. Thank you!

Perfect dress for my bridal shower!

I wore this to my bridal shower and got so many compliments on it! The color is vibrant and girly. I really felt beautiful in this dress. The pockets are a great addition! I wore it with a sweater because it was cold and rainy outside, but the back of the dress is really beautiful. (I would recommend a strapless bra as others have said too) I did notice the liner of my dress stuck out the bottom a bit and the overall fit was a bit bigger than I thought, but it wasn't TOO big. I would definitely rent this again and recommend it to others. I had a wonderful first experience with RTR!

Puffy Skirt

Color - The dress looks like a hot pink & gold on the Model, but it’s more of a dark magenta and cream color in person. I bought a pair of gold shoes to match prior to getting the dress. The pattern is very exotic looking. Something that I normally don’t wear but still nice. Size – I rented size 0 &2. The skirt part is way too puffy, like a parachute or a bubble dress. Both sizes were much too big on me. It would be perfect for someone who has a wider hips and wants some coverage. Please see my pictures. Material – I love the thick material. This dress would be great for a fall or winter formal event. I also have the hidden pockets. I guess that’s probably why it made the dress so puffy. I ended up not wearing the dress because it was just too big for a petit person.

I love this dress. The colors are amazing and the fabric is very nice and gives this dress a 50s feel. I'm petite and though I wore the size 0, I felt that the dress was a little too large on the bust area and a little long but that being said, this dress was perfect.

I ordered the 4 and 6 thinking this dress would be tight, however I should have ordered the 2 and 4. The 4 fit great but it was just a little big around the waist. My problem is I have a big chest and tiny waist so dresses are always a toss up for me. Next time I order a dress I will be sticking to the 2-4 range, personally I like to wear clothes that are a little more fit than loose.

The dress runs large. I ordered a 2 and 4. The 4 was falling off me. The 2 fit perfectly. Loved how the dress was fitted to the waist and the skirt flared out. Wouldn't recommend if you don't feel comfortable with a fuller skirt. This dress definitely isn't form fitting. It's great if you want a different look!

Fit wonderfully. Typically I am an 8 but I always get a 10 just in case - didn't need the bigger size for this one! Perfect for hourglass shapes. Slightly thicker fabric - like a brocade plus crinoline and a linen-like liner. Loved the pockets too.

at the wedding, or so I was told by one of the guests. This was a huge compliment considering the beautiful dresses that I saw at this event and it was one of many that I received during the night. My only complaint is that when I went to iron the dress 45 minutes before I had to leave, I turned it inside out and noticed that the lining seam was all frayed which explained why the lining was peaking out from the dress. Thanks to several pins I put the dress back together. I would have expected designer quality not just style so this was disappointing.

I rented this dress for an outdoor wedding-- I had a backup dress in case I didn't like it, but it ended up being perfect. I had to go with the bigger size as my bust is large and in charge since having a kiddo. The dress is really cute-- I received many many compliments on it. The only thing I will say is that the back of the dress is 'poofy', almost like a bustle--It's just the style of the dress. So some people may not like that. It's definitely not a fitted dress, but super stylish and cute.

I just returned from a wedding weekend in Nantucket and wore this dress. Received tons of compliments (more of the "fun dress" variety) and it was very comfortable! Loved the pockets! I will say that the dress has some "poof" on the bottom, so it's not a very slenderizing dress... And, the back straps are a little "odd." But, overall, was very happy with the dress and the style is very "on trend" (actually was similar in style to the bridesmaids). Fun dress!

Rented this for an outdoor wedding last weekend. The color is incredibly vibrant and it was so comfortable. Loved the pockets -- it helped me keep my camera handy all throughout the reception! Keep in mind that there is crinoline on the skirt lining, so that makes the bottom much fuller than a normal A-line dress. Since I have some booty to begin with, I wasn't expecting to add more! Also had to use fashion tape to make the top portion of the dress lay correctly, so have some handy just in case!

I rented this for my 26th birthday and my friend's bridal shower. My friend told me that I need to go out and buy this dress ASAP because it was a beautiful dress. The only issue was that the lining hung down past the hem on one side so I had to pin it up. I was able to wear my strapless bra without it showing. The color is great and the fit was perfect. Great summer dress.

I rented this dress for a daytime spring wedding and "hot pink" charity event on the same day and all I can say is this dress was a hit! I got so many compliments and must have told 20 people my story of renting the dress. It fits very true to size, didn't wrinkle and was very comfortable to wear for my long day. Fabric is a nice weight. The "con" I can think of is it is very bright so if you don't like bright colors, this may not be for you.

This was my first rental and boy was I nervous about it! I normally don't wear pink, but this dress seemed to be just what I was looking for so I crossed my fingers and ordered it anyway. The colors were much brighter in person, but what a luscious fabric! I felt like a million bucks! I had both an 8 and a 6 sent. The 6 was ever-so-slightly snug in the ribcage, but the 8 fit nicely with room to move I wanted to wear the dress without a sweater for the graduation ceremonies, but I found that even a strapless bra showed in back (I would suggest formal undergarments for this one). However, it still looked lovely paired with a navy shrug, navy tights and navy patent leather shoes.. In fact, the shrug and tights suited the less formal occasion and I didn't feel out of place. I received SO many compliments!! It's a shame that I was so busy helping students get situated that I never had the chance to get a photo.

There's no good way to make the skirt less poofy. The picture of the model is not what the dress looks like on. The body fits true to size but the slip of the dress hangs down lower than the outer layer of the dress.

Loved this dress so much I am renting it for a charity function later this month. The details say that this dress can be worn with your standard bra, but every one I tried peeked out a bit in back. I ended up wearing a strapless which worked well -- just not my favorite. Clearly it didn't alter my opinion of the dress overall. I received so many compliments!!

I loved wearing this dress! It was prefect for the morning wedding shower I attended. I got tons of compliments and felt beautiful. I ordered the 8 and 6 but since I am smaller on top, the 6 fit great. I had some extra room in the bust area but that is expected since I anly an A. I loved the way the skirt poofed out. I did catch a glimpse of the lining under the skirt but just when the skirt was puffing up. Very pretty colors and I would definately consider renting it again! Classy, fun, and sophisticated!
