The fit was great. I rented a 4 and a 6, as I generally teeter between the two sizes and would be wearing this dress after a week on vacation. I ended up in the 4, and it fit great! The details were beautiful, yet simple, and the dress had pockets! The length of the dress was also great for me at 5'6", as I wanted something short, but not too short. Generally, the dresses that look borderline short on the models fit me well in terms of length! I LOVED this dress and would recommend it to anyone.

I got tons of compliments on this dress! It was a little longer on me (compared to the model) because I'm only 5'5"- so that being said, it isnt like a "sexy" dress, its a little more conservative. Which was great for the wedding I went to! Anyways, I loved this dress and say RENT IT. Plus you get to wear a regular bra with it and no need for spanx- win! I wore nude pumps like the model and those worked great too.

It fit well overall. I rented the 2 and 4. I wore the two, but it was a little big in the waist. Other than that, it was stunning! I'm 5'4 and the dress came down to just above my knees. The sweet surprise to this dress are the pockets! I didn't know it had them, so that was awesome to find. I would definitely rent this dress again!

This was my first RTR experience, and I cannot say enough great things about this dress! Not only is it a beautiful color, but it fit me perfectly, and who doesn't feel great when the smaller size fits? I would definitely recommend ordering a size down for your backup. Even in the zero, I still had room in the waist which allowed the dress to feel extremely comfortable while eating at the party. I got so many compliments all night. This dress would work anytime of the year and I would definitely rent it again for a wedding or sorority semi-formal. I really didn't want to send this dress back, it's the perfect outfit for any occasion!

I ordered this dress for my company holiday party and couldn't have been happier. I ordered a 2 and got the 0 as a back up. I came down with the flu last week and was so glad the 0 was there b/c it fit perfectly! The deep, jewel toned teal color was gorgeous and the lace was so chic. I wore black heels which I thought looked better than nude heels and kept the accessories simple. I received so many compliments and was sad to return the dress. I highly recommend this dress for any occassion!

Rented this for a fall wedding in the northeast. The colored lace is lovely, and the banded waist creates a nice shape. The dress was very appropriate for a wedding -- cute and fun and on the conservative side. The cap sleeves help it seem less summery. Unlike in the model's photo, I paired this with black heels so I could use a black wrap and clutch. You could wear any kind of undergarments with this dress and be fine.

I ended up wearing the 0. The waist was not tight (I had about an inch or two of room), so I was able to eat and dance without fear. The hem hit me about an inch above the knee and the color was a little darker than I anticipated. Overall I loved the dress. I felt classy and could have fun while wearing it.

This was actually a very, very last minute choice. Due to an ordering snafu, Erica R offered to let me pick a different dress and have it arrive the next day. So I scrambled around to see what was still available, and this dress was recently added. She ensured I could still get the dress and that I would still receive everything on time. I'm SO glad I was able to get this dress because it's so cute! It fits perfectly and covers my chest which was good for a family wedding. It's very pretty, delicate, and romantic and I love the blue color. It falls right above my knees which is appropriate for a wedding but if you want to wear it for a date or party, it would be nice if it was a couple of inches shorter. I also love that I can wear normal undergarments with this dress. I highly recommend!

I usually wear 2 or 4 in dresses, and the 2 fit perfectly. The color is a dark teal, and the lace sleeves make the dress. I was nervous it was going to be too short for the occasion, but it wasn't at all. I would definitely rent again, especially after RTR's great service around the recent storm in the northeast.

I wore this dress because the dress I ordered was not going to come to me in time due to Hurricane Sandy. RTR contacted me and made sure I received another dress in time. This is a sweet, dainty dress. The color is a beautiful teal in person that looks fabulous against fair skin. I am am pear-shaped and normally wear a 4 in a dress of this style. I would say it's pretty true to size, maybe even a tad roomy, as long as you don't have a large bust. This is a pretty dress and I did receive numerous compliments. However, I feel like it was a little "young" for me (38, mom of two) but that is not the fault of the dress! It would be a great dress for someone a decade or two younger than me, looking for something on the conservative side. It's not as short in person as on the model, if you are of average or petite height. I am 5'6' if that helps.

I found the fit to be true to size. The bust area was very fitted so if you are well endowed, you may need to size up. The lace cap sleeves are really beautiful and the color looks great on any skin tone. Definitely a win!

not right for girls with hips

I really wanted to love this dress and it looked great in the other photos reviewers posted but unfortunately neither size I ordered looked right. I ordered a 10 and the ribbon that looks like it's supposed to hit right at your waist actually hit a little lower than my waist and made my hips look huge (and I definitely don't need anything to accentuate them!). I had my roommate try it on as well and she had the exact same problem... it just isn't flattering at all if you have hips. Also I have a big bust but the top of the dress was weirdly loose and not young or fun at all-- in fact the neckline was higher than I expected and looked quite matronly (which wasn't helped by the fact that the dress is actually quite long, though I'm average height at 5'5". Furthermore, the dress wasn't the quality I was expecting... yes the lace was lovely at both the sleeves and hem but it was a far more casual-looking dress than I was expecting (I think maybe because of the fabric of the ribbon around the waist), definitely not right for a cocktail party like I was going to. All in all this could look great on someone who is quite slim and is going to a conservative event, otherwise I wouldn't recommend.

While not the sexiest dress ever, I thought this dress was super-cute, and I'd totally rent it again. It's a really pretty deep teal color. I rented the 8 as a backup, and it fit, though I think next time I'll try to get a 6 and 8, as the 6 might have fit better. The 8 was just a little loose around my rib cage. I'm a 6 on top and 8 on the bottom, so it just depends on the dress what size ends up being better for me.

I normally wear a size 2 but ended up wearing my back up size 0 which fit perfectly!! The dress was beautiful and I received many compliments. I was very comfortable wearing the dress all night even after eating a meal and having some cocktails. I have a small bust so I did not have any issues but if you have a large bust I would recommend ordering a size up instead of a size down. I would definitely rent this dress again, I had people ask me where I purchased it because they liked it so much!

Never got it. The weather delayed the package arrival and it was 4 days too late. Ended up having to take an emergency shopping trip the last minute, spending way more than what I wanted to spend. RTR did refund the money, but it was disappointing.

I tried renting this dress but ended up sending it back because of the poor fit. I think it's intended for someone taller than me because the seemlingly empire waist hit akwardly low on me, creating an unflattering silhouette. I kept staring at it in the mirror trying to fidget with it and make it work, but it simply didn't look nice. The lace cap sleeves are nice, and overall the dress is a fine quality, but awkard fit.

It was sweet and pretty and comfy, easy to dress up for the wedding with a sparkly necklace and heels, and then, with some Anthro combat boots and a silky blush blazer--easy to add some edge to afterward for our night on the strip. I LOVE this dress. It's extremely flattering and romantic. The lace sleeves and the detailing are all very high quality. I have zero complaints. I want to own this one!
