I think the dress runs "True to Size" but I put small because in a size 8 (which is my size), it fit JUST RIGHT. If I were to wear this dress to dinner, and actually eat, it would definitely show. I loved the color. The weight of the material makes it perfect for the fall. Just as MC said, although it may not look it, this dress is more on the body con side.

Runs true to size, pretty short (definitely not as long as it appears on the model) and it rides up just a bit when you walk because of the material and gathered sides. Very flattering dress, overall. Loved it!

I definitely had to size up in order for this dress to be (barely) long enough on me, but it still looked great! The sleeves aren't lined so they were a little itchy. Overall I loved the dress for the colors, but I wore it during the day and it was definitely too short on me.

I rented this for my company holiday party and had to return. It was much shorter and much tighter than I thought it'd be. I have a bit of a butt and could barely fit the 2 over my hips. When I walked it would ride up. It's a beautiful dress from the front, but from the side and back I looked like a Kardashian (not the look I was going for!).

I rented this dress for a wedding rehearsal. This was my first rent from RTR and I could not have picked a better dress! It fit perfectly! I must have missed where it said there was a zipper on the side, because that definitely added a little spice to the dress! It was not too long or short (came to mid thigh on me) The colors were beautiful. While the material is not a flexible material, I moved with ease in this dress. (Due to a huge football game that night, I had to walk half a mile in heels and this dress to get to the church!) If you're considering renting this I would highly recommend it. You will get so many compliments!!

This dress is GORGEOUS. The colors are vibrant and beautiful, especially flattering on dark-haired brunettes. It's very sexy while providing coverage for more conservative events. I ordered true to size and it fit perfectly and smoothly. It is short like other reviewers mentioned; I am 5'0" and the hem hit above my knees just like the model. I accessorized with a skinny black belt, glittery black platform pumps with pink soles, and simple silver hoop earrings set with colored stones. I wore it to my nephew's christening celebration and got compliments all day. I will definitely keep this one in my favorites!!!!

I normally wear a 4 and the 4 fit perfectly. This dress is more fitted to the body than what appears in the photo and is actually quite flattering. It definitely shows your physique. I would recommend a larger backup if you are in between sizes because the 4 fit me exactly. The dress hit mid-thigh on me, which I also found flattering but some might think that is too short.

This dress was amazing. I rented a 2 which is what I normally wear ( 5'1" 110 lbs) and found the dress to be flattering and comfortable. It was much sexier than I expected since it looks demure in the photo, but my husband liked how it hugged my curves so that was a plus. My only warning is that it is VERY short. I found myself pulling it down a couple of times during the day- And as I wrote before I am crazy short, so all you tall ladies beware.

This dress is very short and very tight (much shorter than in the picture). It also seemed to ride up as I walked because of the stretchy material. I rented this to wear to my boss' wedding but returned the dress since it was totally inappropriate for the occasion (btw -- RTR returns team were very helpful and nice). You should also know that the dress has rushing up the sleeves (on the outer side) -- something I did not notice from the photo.

I'm glad I read the reviews and opted to go with the complimentary additional size since it was the size I wore. I am a 10 on the nose and wore the 12 because of the body conscious cut and the length. It's a fabulous dress and the sleeves are wonderful for this time of year. Great with tights boots or heels. I definitely think it pairs well w/a great big chunky necklace!

I am usually a Petite 4, but the size 6 dress fit me perfectly (large chest, curvy). The length is fairly adjustable because of the ruching. Also, there is a sexy copper zipper that runs up the left side from the armpit to the ribcage. Loved it so much I rented it again for this weekend!

This dress is super cute, however, it runs really small. I'm not very tall and the dress was super short on me. I am usually a size 2 and the size 4 was tight and short on me. I am assuming if I would have gotten a 6, it would have worked. I was so disappointed that I couldn't wear it.

This dress is very snug and body con. I just did not feel comfortable in it. Definitely order the next size up. Also the fabric is on the thicker side- definitely better for fall and winter.

This is a very pretty, sweet, comfortable dress. I just couldn't wear it out because it was too short for me (I like to wear Spanx & this was so short it showed the Spanx legs out the bottom - not a cute look!). Also the "Product Details" are incorrect - there's an exposed SIDE zip, not back zip.
