I rented this (in the Mystery Bling package) along with the Peony Lace shift dress by Robert Rodriguez. I don't normally wear big black necklaces like this, but this gave the dress a good amount of edge and was perfect since the Chicago weather brought in a cold snap which forced me to wear black tights and black Louboutins with my dress. It made the look more cohesive.

I wore this to a party and loved it! It's a bold statement piece that definitely adds a touch of glamour to your look. I wore it with a wrap dress that had a low-cut neckline, and I skipped other accessories--this makes enough of a statement that I'd recommend keeping the rest of your jewelry simple.
