I ordered a size 2 and 4 because i wasn't sure how it would fit. The 2 ended up being perfect! the stomach is not clinging and it is comfortable and structured. It was quite short so I would not have worn it without tights but it was perfect for my brithday party in December.

I wore this to a rehearsal dinner for a wedding in Colorado. The jersey lining was comfy and warm when the evening started to get cooler. The dress was a little too short for me and made it hard to sit in, but other than that I loved the tailored fit and detailing.

I wore this dress for a night out in Vegas and loved it. I typically wear a 4 but ended up wearing my backup size 2. Both were extremely fitted (but the material is thick and holds you in) and fit well, but the 2 came in a bit more at my waist and was about the same length as the 4. (That being said, this dress is extremely short--adorable, but definitely a party dress.)

The dress is very tight so if you are in any doubt, be sure to size up. The dress is also very short, which was fine on me because I'm only 5'3". I ordered an 8 and 10. The 8 fit like a glove but I ended up going with the 10 which fit my chest better although it was a little more roomy in the tummy. Spanx were a must! :) I loved the dress when standing but usually kept my clutch in my lap while sitting as the dress rode up a TON. I would definitely rent it again as it was perfect for the bachelorette party!

This is a really beautifully constructed dress and I received a lot of compliments! I wore it out for a girls weekend in LA. I chose this dress based on reviews that is is short, because I am petite. It was a perfect mid-thigh length on me. It might be too short for some taller girls. It has an inner layer that is really soft and the dress is structured - so flattering on a petite hourglass figure.

The dress was very interesting and both sizes I ordered (0,2) were in good condition. Both the 0 and 2 were essentially the same size. I actually didn't wear the dress because the hips in both sizes were ill fitting, on the tight side compared to the rest of the dress. The top layer of fabric is thicker and structured, so the tight fit on the hips made it ride up and bunch up majorly in my midsection. I loved the rest of the dress, but I didn't want to be pulling it down all night!

Wore this dress for my bachelorette party. Literally fit like a glove and got so many compliments. Very true to size. No give in the fabric however, so keep that in mind when ordering. The waist part was a little loose, but fit perfectly on hips and top. A showstopper!

This dress is great. I didn't end up wearing it because it was REALLY short. Given, I'm pretty tall and I have a booty that hikes up any skirt a bit, but I had about 2 inches of skirt below my butt to work with. Maybe if I was attending a winter event and had the option of opaque tights, this could have worked. Even though I did not end up wearing this dress to my event, I will say that other than the length it fit really well. It does run small, so definitely order at least a size up. I usually wear a 6 or an 8, and the 10 fit me best. I had my roommate and a friend try on the 8, and it looked great on them as well, even though we have totally different body types. They are both in the 5'2"-5'4" range, and the length was not a problem for them. If you are considering this dress, it's a beautiful piece. I definitely feel that it is as pretty in person as it is in the photo. Just be sure to order a larger size than usual and beware of the length! I would order a back-up style if tights aren't an option for your event.

I wish I could buy this dress! It was soo comfortable and I got a ton of compliments. The cut is very flattering...gave me some curves. It's a bit shorter than I thought it would, so just be careful when sitting down or getting in/out of a car.

Loved this dress, although, it was quite short and when I sat down, I was showing 80% of my thigh. No matter. The material was amazing - the thick piping over the gray underlay was lovely. It was so different than any other dresses and I think that's why people kept noticing and complimenting it. I'd definitely wear it again. I wore it with hot pink suede pumps to give it a little pop of color. So fun!

I can not imagine a body type that would fit this dress. Maybe an apple? I ordered a size 2 and 4. The 4 was ok in the hips and huge everywhere else. The only difference with the size 2 was that it was slightly tighter in the hips and shoulders and it was shorter. The waist was still enormous. It looks like a swirly box unless you twist slightly to the side. Unfortunately this was my first rental. So I'm pretty disenchanted by the whole thing.

I wore this dress in January to an opera at the Kennedy Center in DC....I wanted something that I could wear with tights and booties but be fitted and detailed. I loved the fit of this dress! I have a true hourglass figure, so the waste was not fitted compared to the fit on the breast and hip area. The fabric was structured and I was more comfortable standing. I loved the length and the cap sleeve fit. The night was a whirlwind, so I failed to get a single picture!

It was a comfortable little dress that fit really well! It was pretty short, so I wore medium high heeled booties. The pattern is very flattering thoughl, and the lining is super comfortable jersey that makes it able to be dressed down, or elevated with the right accessories.

I rented this to wear for a more casual night out during my bachelorette weekend. But it just didn't flatter me all that much, so I returned it. I rented a 4 and a 6. The 4 was pretty small so I planned to wear the 6. It just fit really strangely. The hips were tight and the stomach area was too gapey. It just didn't do anything for me. The dress itself is actually quite heavy, and there is very little give in the fabric. Oh, and there are slight shoulder pads, which is kind of off-putting. I think it looks great on all of the girls whose pictures are up on the RTR site, though. It's a beautiful dress - just not for me.

Fit true to size. The pictures made it look like it would be so sexy for a night out, but in truth it was SO heavyvweight like wool almost.. The material was not attractive and had bulky shoulder pads. I don't recommend this dress at all :(

I rented this dress for a weekend in Las Vegas. My plan was to wear it to a show, however upon receiving the dress I immediately noticed the fabric was not suited for an April evening in Las Vegas. The dress itself is gorgeous and I loved it when I tried it on…it is a little on the short side, but the conservative neckline makes is “okay” to show some leg. I decided not wear it in Las Vegas, but I would suggest that a renter wear this for a winter occasion. As I mentioned earlier, the fabric dictates a cold weather affair…it is very thick, no quite wool, but in that family of fabrics. The dress itself is very heavy. Overall, it is a great dress! It fit true to size and I love the shoulder pads, I just happened to rent it in the wrong season.

It's impossible to not get noticed in this dress. Heeded other renters' warnings however about the tight fit in the hips and ordered a size up. Don't hesitate to do the same, as the extra room in the hips is necessary if you don't want it riding up all night.

I liked the dress, but it fit a bit odd in a way that was not as flattering as I had hoped. The length was good (not as short as many reviewers had warned). Also, there are built in mini shoulder pads that I didn't notice online. I didn't end up wearing this dress because it was clear that someone who was a little too large for the size 0 had tried to squeeze into the dress before me and stretched out the stomach area and caused a small tear on the bottom. RTR was great though - they offered me a full credit (it was too late to ship a different dress). I planned to wear this dress anyway, but then found something I liked better at the last minute. This dress has NO stretch and rides up a bit just from walking around. Thanks RTR!

The material was nice and think which made it nice for the colder weather. I ended up wearing it with black tights, but it was a little short waisted which resulted in a slight pooch in the midsection. Not noticeable in photos, thank goodness!

I'm so bummed! This dress is absolutely gorgeous!!! I normally wear an 8/10 so I ordered both just in case. I read all of the testimonials and made sure I ordered based on similar height/weight and the hips were just too small. Had I ordered a 12, the hips would have fit fine but the top would have been too big.

I had ordered the 0 but didn't end up wearing it as it was too big on me. I generally fall between a 00 and a 0, so this wasn't that surprising. The dress is adorable and if it would have fit, I would have loved it. Super comfy. If you are a super petite person like myself, I wouldn't go with this dress unless you don't mind it being loose. I was hopeful because this dress looked so cute in all the submitted photos! I guess I am the wrong body type for this dress because it felt quite boxy, shapeless on me and barely fit over my back side. I got the 0 and 2 (my usual sizes) but sadly neither worked. Hope this dress work better for others though! It's a very unique and cute dress!

This dress was very fitted. The material was thick and sturdy. I truly love the dress and how it fit. It hugged all the right curves and showed off my long legs. Loved it wanted to make it mine!
