The fabric was much softer, more comfortable than I expected. The fit was great! Fit well through the bust and gave extra room at the hip. My only complaint is that the dress seemed a little worn, probably due to the nature of the fabric... I had to trim a couple threads that were loose.

The size 8 and 10 seemed pretty close to each other, so I opted for the slightly larger one, but both could have worked. You can wear a regular bra with this, as long as the straps are placed wide on your shoulders.

A truly unique dress

I wore this for my college apt. mate's wedding, and it was such a stunner! No one else had anything like it, and it was very comfortable and stylish. Great material, didn't wrinkle on the hour drive to the church and reception. Definitely wear a strapless bra with this one -- it comes with those small strap-hiders in the shoulders, but they were a little finicky for me. Note: The capped sleeves showed a little of that crease by the armpits I hate to show so much, so I threw on a cardigan for the church and part of the dinner -- ditched it for dancing.

Rented this dress for a Friday evening wedding. Didn't end up actually wearing it because the back up dress was more appropriate, but it was a hard decision! This I dress fit very nicely. I have big hips and I liked all the room I had and absolutely no clingy-ness. It was fitted at the high natural waist. I wore a size 12. At 5'6" and about 165 lbs, it fit well and was a perfect length. Beautiful bright fabric.

I absolutely loved this dress and got lots of compliments on it. It was perfect for a summer wedding. I struggle with whether to give this dress a 4 or 5 star review, though. When I first opened it, I noticed a few snags on the tiny threads running throughout the dress. You can't tell unless you look really close, & once I wore it I could see why. The little threads catch on EVERYTHING. Unless you are a detail nut like me, I doubt you would notice or care. I still loved wearing the dress and would wear it again for sure.

I loved this dress! it was so comfortable I could live in it. The colors are bright and vibrant and are sure to set you apart from the crowd. I wore this to a wedding and got a ton of compliments - someone told me I looked like I was straight out of "Mad Men" :) There are fasteners to hold your bra straps in place so you don't have to where a strapless bra. The neckline is a bit tight so be sure to get your true size and not a size below.

I loved this dress, it fit absolutely perfect and was very flattering on. I wore the dress to a Kentucky Derby party and it fit the theme very well. Unfortunately, the dress appeared worn when it arrived, there were many areas where the threading was coming lose. It didn't have that recently purchased quality that I am used to with other RTR dresses. I would wear this dress again to another party, but I would be nervous about the condition!

LOVED this dress. It was comfortable, fit perfectly, and was so darn cute. I really liked the back of the dress. The only thing I was really disappointed about was the condition of the dress. It had snags everywhere. There are also little snaps to keep a regular bra in place, but one was missing so I had to wear a strapless. It wasn't a huge deal unless you looked closely, but still disappointing as it cost $70

This dress is awesome - so colorful and vibrant! It fits true to size and is lightweight. It has the bra strap holders on the sleeves, so I choose to wear one - otherwise I looked flat chested. The only downer was the seams snag a ton on my bracelets which was weird. I would highly recommend this dress for any fun spring/summer outdoor party!

Perfect Bridal Shower Dress!

I absolutely loved this dress - I think it wins for my favorite RTR rental ever! It was so comfortable and the colors were amazing - I got so many compliments at my bridal shower. It fits true to size, although it is a teeny bit tighter in the bust than everywhere else. The flare of the skirt gives you extra room if you have a teeny bit of a belly. What I really loved was that the back is a wide open back, but still allows you to wear a regular bra (RTR recommends a strapless, but I got away with my thick strapped bra and it was fine). The neckline is flattering, even with a larger bust. Plus, I really think girls of any height can wear this dress. Loved it, loved it, loved it. (Thanks to Whitney at the showroom for her help in picking it out!!!)

The 4 was a perfect fit. The dress lining showed a little at the hem, but the tape included took care of it. The necklace shown was a great addition, another review mentioned that there is not a lot of color at the neckline. I was able to wear the dress to a brunch the next day with another group of friends. For the brunch added white sweater, gold necklace, and nude sandals and it it looked great.

This dress is fabulous: suited for many occasions and totally comfortable. It might be a little short if you're on the taller side. The fabric was lighter in weight than I had anticipated, but that wasn't a big deal. There are many colors in the fabric, so it's sure to go with many of the shoes/accessories that you already have! The hues are saturated and beautiful- I got many compliments. It has little bra snaps in the straps, so that your bra won't show in the back.

The back is a little more cutout around the shoulder blades, so you'd almost have to wear a strapless bra -- since I was wearing the cardigan I didn't worry about it. This dress is adorable! The colors are so fun and vibrant . The length is perfect - it hit me at about mid-thigh. The pleated skirt has just the right amount of fullness. It was just a tiny bit big on me, particularly in the waist and bodice. I would definitely recommend sizing down for your backup size, especially if you are smaller-chested. Overall, this dress is super cute and fun!

First time renting from Rent The Runway and will definitely do again. The size 2 fit great. I also got the size 4 to be safe because I usually float between the two sizes. The size 2 was a little worn, which was the only issue. The length was perfect, not too short...sexy, but still classy. Returning the dresses was exceptionally easy. I am going to rent again for another wedding in September! Can't wait!!

I rented this for my bridal shower and although I didn't end up wearing it, it was a great day dress. Vibrant colors, substantial/forgiving fabric, and very unique. My caution - it runs small through the chest (which is why I couldn't wear it). I typically need to size up for my hips, but after chatting with RtR, they indicated it runs big, and since it was an A-line skirt, figured the 10 would do well. I'm a 34/36C and the 10 wouldn't finish zipping up when it hit the bust line in the back :(

Super cute wedding guest dress!

I wore this dress to a wedding in mid-April, along with pearls and black heels. I got tons of compliments, and it was definitely a stand out due to the pattern and colors. If I could do it again, I would have tried to find nude heels instead of black - and I don't think it really needs a necklace, since the pattern is so bold. Additionally, though the sleeves have the thread clasp to hold in a bra, the back of the dress cuts in a bit, so you either have to safety pin your bra in the back, or wear a strapless one. The dress was comfortable for most of the night, but towards the end, the underarm portion of the sleeve started to chafe. But, overall a great dress that I'm glad I got to wear!

Wore this to an outdoor rehearsal dinner. It was a pretty and punchy alternative to a boring black dress. I am 5'2" 140 pounds and It fit true to size. I ordered a 6 and a 4 as a backup and wore the 4. I have a bit of a tummy and a relatively large bust, and the six was form-fitting but not too snug. The piping and the flare of the skirt is very flattering. I got lots of compliments and would wear this again. Paired this with my own green Alexis Bittar earrings, orange cluth and gold and tan studded heels.

It ran a bit small in the top/chest area so I went with the bigger size. I ordered the 8 and 10 and while the 8 fit, the 10 was just a little more comfortable. I usually wear between a 6 and an 8. I'm 5'3 about 137 llbs. There's not a whole lot of give to this dress so the bigger size was the better fit for me. Overall I loved this dress it was perfect for what I rented it for and I got a ton of compliments. It's fun and flirty and it complimented my shape. Definitely would recommend this.
