Like many of the other reviewers, I found that this dress ran a bit large and I ended up wearing my back-up size (which was one size below my normal size 10). The color is stunning and it drapes very nicely on the body. I appreciated the fashion tape included in my RTR package - it was definitely needed to prevent any embarrassing moments at a windy outdoor wedding. I got many compliments on the dress and afterwards, both during the event and after photos were posted on FB.

material: This dress is a beautiful blue and very comfortable and it feels wonderful. fit: This is a true wrap dress. You may feel a little exposed! I used a small safety pin to keep the top from opening. When I sat down, I had to be careful to keep the skirt closed too. look: It looked a little boxy but I was happy with it. I wore seamless underwear and bra. Overall a lovely dress! Perfect for a formal dinner.

This dress fit well and was very comfortable. The only downside is that even if you're tall the skirt can look awkwardly long from certain angles. Otherwise it's very cute. I'd rent it again.

This beautiful dress looks exactly like it does in the photos. It runs slightly on the large side (although it really isn't a problem due to the wrap style), hugs my curves in all of the right places, and is a great length on my 5'11" frame. The neckline needs to be held closed with fashion tape. I wish this dress were for sale from RTR!

Loved the dress but it definitely runs big -- at least two sizes big. It's a gorgeous shade of blue and is beyond comfy to wear all night. Easy to dress up with accessories but may not even be needed.

I wore this beautiful Cobalt Blue dress for my company's annual meeting awards banquet. The dress was an absolute hit! I got SO many compliments and felt amazing in this dress which was also extremely comfortable. Do size down- I normally wear a 4 or a 6 and wore a 2. Thanks to Lindsey, I ordered the right size! Also, you may find that you need to tack the neckline as it does flap open a bit. Rent the Runway truly did make my weekend. Lindsey was a fantastic help in helping me to select this dress. Right before my event, the back-up size for the dress became unavailable. Neil was so fantastic. He emailed me offering a second dress of any price for free in case the dress didn't fit. I selected the beautiful navy blue Cushnie Et Ochs "Next Level Sheath" you see my best friend Elaine wearing in two of the photos. I can't say enough wonderful things about Rent the Runway and your fantastic customer service. Rent the Runway dressed three Lucas Group girls at this year's Year End Meeting (the third, Abby is pictured in the cover photo wearing the Laila Azhar Indigo Fireworks dress). I wouldn't be surprised if RTR dressed the entire Female staff next year! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Couldn't get enough of this cobalt blue dress!

The dress runs a bit big but I was going for a relaxed/ effortless look. I used a little piece of double sided tape to keep the dress closed up top. I didn't have to fuss with the dress through the night and felt comfortable and confident. I paired the dress with the Althea Blue earrings (color on color) and wore a Gold Leaf cuff on each wrist to give my look a little extra something.

I really loved this dress. It does run a little large, but being that it is a wrap dress, the draped look is very flattering. It can be worn with a standard bra and I would recommend fashion tape to secure the neckline. I liked the comfort and room I had in the skirt, as well as the fact that I could adjust the waistline to my liking. Great dress!

I loved this dress, it was comfortable and flattering, but I would not wear this to a very formal event. This dress would look great for an office/cocktail party, but I would not consider it elegant enough for a wedding or fancier event. But, for that night, it worked great!

I didn't end up wearing this dress because I chose the other one I had, but this is a beautiful dress. It made me look a little boxy because I have a large bust and athletic build. It would probably be most flattering on someone with curves and a more defined waist than me. The draping is amazing.

I was warned that the dress runs very large, so I got a size two rather than my normal four or six. The top part was still very blousy on me and there is a strange seam on the right hip that caused a wrinkle across my crotch area that was not flattering. The dress was also shorter in the back than in the front, which again, was very unflattering. I usually look great in wrap dresses, but ended up wearing my backup dress instead of this one.

This dress was great, it cinched at all the right places, and was forgiving too! The fabric was lighter than I was expecting, but went great with dark tights for a winter party. The blue was a great, bright cobalt - which I really loved. I would definitely rent this dress again :)

Color is beautiful but it runs very large. I would recommend for a larger bust or broad shoulders since the top can be overwhelming, the length was at my knees. I did not end up wearing this since the 6 was still too large.

This dress is freaking stunning. I wore it for an engagement party in NYC and I could just feel everyone eyeing the dress all night long. I got so many compliments on the color in particular. It's a gorgeous and BRIGHT blue but the simple shape of the dress keeps it from feeling over the top. It runs huge... so definitely go down 2 sizes. It's really low-cut if you have a small chest, so make sure you have some fabric tape on hand. Wish I could have kept this one!

Good overall, but the cut is such that it bunches on the side opposite where you tie it. It's actually a little confusing to tie as well... but overall would be good for a party/warmer weather affair (thin material).

Wore this dress as a wedding guest in the late fall in San Francisco. Was absolutely gorgeous, the fit was perfect. Super comfortable...I'd recommend Spanx for sure, not only to smooth everything out but because the assymmetrical flap is a bit hard to control sometimes while sitting. Not the end of the world, but worth noting! Paired well with nude heels and a light wrap when it got chilly. Gorgeous dress.

This was an easy pick for a fall wedding especially since I could wear a normal bra for the entire day and night affair. I normally wear a 10 but the 8 fit like a dream. The only thing that I needed to pay attention to was to make sure the inner tie of the wrap was staying tied- it was a wedding and there was a lot of dancing involved. Overall I was happy with how easy and comfortable the dress was to wear and it photographed beautifully!

It ran slightly large, so I'm happy I ordered a zero as a back-up size. You can tie it as tightly or as loosely as you want, giving you control over how it drapes over your body. It is appropriate for more conservative events but still eye-catching. I wore it with dangly earrings and it looked beautiful!!

WAY TOO BIG!

This was my first choice for a wedding. The dress/material itself looks expensive and the color is FANTASTIC! Unfortunately it was waaay too big! I have NEVER been a size 2 dress in my adult life, so why would I think I would be this time? The 4 was obviously big, and 6 (those are my two usual sizes) was HUGE. I kid-you-not the size 6 would've fit someone who is a size 10 or 12 beautifully. It was such a beautiful material and color that I might risk it and order the 2 next time. (and feel really special that I was wearing a size 2 dress). Anyone who is a size 2 or 0, I would say you are too small to even fit into these dresses. Please take alllll the rest of the reviews seriously and order the size DOWN from what you hope you'd fit! NO JOKE!

I was unable to wear this dress it was way to big. I ordered a size 6 and my back up was a size 8. I've rented Rachel Roy before an assumed a size 6 would be perfect. The color and fabric is beautiful hate I didn't get to wear it...

This is a beautiful dress. It does have some shimmer to it, which isn't apparent in the model photo. I thought the dress ran large. I wore a 6, and 8 was my back up. For reference, I'm 5'11", 150 lbs, 36A, 28" waist, 36" hips. A 4 would have fit me much better. The wrap style is forgiving, but when it came down to it, I would have loved to see the dress in a 4. It was impossible to get the back to lie flat because there was just too much fabric. This may be different for ladies with more curves. This dress would look phenom on red heads, I think. Also, I wore a standard bra. Some type of seamless underwear is needed.

This dress runs very big. I'm usually a size 4, thought I should get a 6 just incase because I am big chested; unfortunately, the dress was huge! I definitely needed a size 0 I could fit another body in it. Although the color and texture of the dress so so beautiful, I was upset I couldn't wear the dress. Bummer.
