The earrings were beautiful, but the weight was way too heavy for my earlobes. I was only able to wear them for the first 10 minutes of the event. They stayed in my date's pocket for the rest of the night because they were hurting my ears so badly to the point where I didn't even want to put them on for photos.

I ended up not wearing these earrings because they were just over the top. They were much bigger and longer than I expected and felt very heavy from the moment I put them on. They would probably be perfect to livin up a rather basic dress, but I was already wearing a big chunky neckalce with a strapless formal gown and these were just too much. I went with a much more simple earring.

Earrings are great, but heavy. I'm not used to wearing heavy earrings and I really felt they pulled my earlobes down. I put them in right before the party and barely lasted four hours in them. Bummer! But maybe if you're used to wearing heavier jewelry you won't be uncomfortable. I rented with the Fifth Avenue Showstopper dress and I thought the total outfit was great- just heavier than expected.
