Rented this gown for a garden-themed Emerald and Evergreen Gala - so it had to be green, natch. This was actually planned as the backup dress, but long story short, a mixup on the RTR end (previous renter late return) botched that plan. Luckily, this dress was fabulous. I think it runs TTS - it was a little big in the bodice for me and I ended up pinning about 1.5 inches of fabric on the side. The next smaller size wasn't available anyway so I don't know for sure but I think it would have been perfect. The draping is terrific; the fabric is a nice weight (not too thin) and, though you can't tell from the photos, the gown is fully lined and the lining is sewn to the hem of the dress, which is genius since that way it never bunches up or shifts on its own. I wore with a backless strapless stickon bra and highwaist Spanx - both totally necessary unless you have a convertible bra (and a perfect bod). The length was just right with my 1.75" heels. Compiments all night - as usual, sad to put it back in the mail. Thanks RTR!

This dress is GORGEOUS! I rented for a formal wedding and received so many compliments, including, "You walked in here looking like a Grecian goddess." This was my first RTR experience, and I was concerned about the fit, but it was perfect. Underneath, I wore a strapless bra and Spanx (I recommend some kind of shapewear because of the draping of the fabric). Speaking of the draping - I can't remember the last time I wore a more flattering dress. NB - if you are 5'5" or 5'6" and are planning on wearing heels taller than 1/2", order the "long" length.

Loved wearing this to a black tie wedding

I'm 5'2" and I wore 4" heels and I would say the dress was about an inch too long on me. It wasn't a disaster though it moves well when you walk so I don't think it looked weird. The fabric is stretchy and clingy so spanx are recommended! I loved the color which is a little deeper green and less teal than the picture suggests.

This gown is gorgeous! The bust was fitted in a very flattering way and the twist at the upper waist really conceals nicely. I would recommend SPANX just in case due to the material, but it still was very comfortable in my true size. So stunning!

This was my first choice dress and luckily rented a second style. It was too small which made it run too short. I was disappointed. But, there wasn't a second size choice that was available when I placed my order. I ended up wearing a size 2 Badgley Mischka instead.

I ordered the 10 long. The dress was beautiful & was true to size except for the length. I am only 5'6" tall & with any heels at all, the dress was too short. RTR offered to send a new style but I did not have time before I had to leave to go out of town for my event.

This was actually a backup dress that I went with because the other was too long. This just hit the floor with 4" heels, and was very comfortable. The only problem is that it stretches throughout the night. Because it was loose, the hanger strings kept popping out from underneath my armpits. At this point, I was very grateful that fashion tape was included with the dresses. I would suggest with this dress to go a size down and maybe talk with a specialist on the length.

Timeless de!sign in an eye catching color!

I was worried that the dress would be too long even with 5" heels. I wore 3" heels and the draping was perfect! Great overall draping from shoulder to feet. Material has give and movement making it extremely comfortable and required no "adjusting" during the evening even after several black tie events and dancing at each. I receive so many compliments on the color of the dress. Not a "bright" color but a deeper teal that was perfect for black tie allowing me to "shine" in a see of black dresses.

I LOVE Rent the Runway. This was my first disappointment. I wanted to rent the 8L but they only had the 8R. I'm 5'8 and figured I would wear flats and be fine. But this dress didnt even come to my ankles (i'm 5'7-5'8). It looked worn. Disappointing.

This was a backup dress for a black tie wedding. If this dress was black, I would have worn it in a heart beat. Even though the color is beautiful, I ended up going with a black dress with some sparkle. My only other complaint is that it was a tad short for my liking. Barefoot, it hit the tops of my feet but with shoes, like I said, a little shorter than I would have liked..and my shoes were only 2 inches or so. But I'm 5'11" so its bound to happen! I'm 5'11", 34 B, 150 lbs, athletic build and it fit me perfectly..it was seriously SO comfortable! And the color is truly beautiful and looks fantastic with silver sparkle!
