This refined Nina Ricci is cocktail chic perfection. Shown here with Elizabeth Cole's Station Necklace.

Black stretch taffeta and stretch wool flannel. Ballet neckline. All over ruching on body. Attached belt at waist. Raw edge seaming detail on back with exposed zipper and faggoting at waist. Fishtail pleat at back hem. About 44" from shoulder to hem.

I loved the dress and so did my husband. It fit perfectly, but I did need the smaller size. Unique look and I particularly liked the longer length.

I think that this dress is best for someone who is tall and thin. I tried this in a size 10, it felt big, and because it has ruching in the front but a smoother back, it was just a bit too much. It defintely has a couture look and feel to it. Also, in the back, at the waistline, the skin is exposed. The poor fit and "couture" nature of the dress was a bad match for me. That said, I think this would like amazing on a size 4 or 6, for whom the extra fabric would not overwhelm the look.

GORGEOUS! Feel tres chic! At 5'8" the dress hits right at the knee for a super sophisticated look. Very easy fit and love the belt to cinch the waist!
