Fun, sexy party dress

I normally wear a 6, but squeezed into the 4. The bodice was tight, but the upper band was surprisingly loose. The dress is very comfy and flattering--a great party dress.

This dress is beautiful - but it is not a conservative dress if you are bigger than a b cup. I am a D cup and absolutely could not wear a bra and had to have the empire line hit me mid-breast, or I would have shown the entire tops of my girls. I rented this for a work cocktail party thinking it was conservative and feminine. I almost couldn't wear it because of how it fit at the bustline. If you can tell from the picture, I had to tie that halter at the neck within an inch of its life to make sure the top of the dress stayed as high as possible. If I was NOT going to a work party, I may have worn a bra and put the empire line where it was supposed to go for that "VAVAVOOM" sexy look. I am a pretty predictable size 10 and I thought I would have to definitely wear the 44, but the 42 actually fit me better. It nipped in at the waist and was more flattering. The dress isn't that tight and surprisingly comfortable. I wore spanx underneath, but probably could have gotten away without it. I matched the bow at the top with black bows on my high heels (can't see in the picture). I rented the Badgley Mischka Crystal Cluster necklace and earrings and received a lot of rave reviews. Overall, it is a good dress if you are small busted or are large chested and want that super sexy look. I forced it to work for me and it wasn't perfect, but still received plenty of compliments. You'll love the beautiful material and gorgeous royal purple color. It's very classy.
