Amber Gown

This dress was perfect for my wedding! My husband (and everyone else) loved it and thought I had had it made for me lol It was comfortable, flowy, and gorgeous! So glad I rented. We're having another wedding next year and I'm surely renting a dress again :)

I ended up wearing a size six, which was a size bigger than my usual size, but I was also pregnant. The skirt was very full and long. Exactly what I wanted for my wedding. The top has a light pink color under the lace. Matched my veil and bouquet perfectly.

A bit long for me (I'm 5'4"), but wearing heels worked well enough.

This dress was a home run! I found the 4R to fit snuggly, and just sweep the floor with 3 inch heels (I am 5’6” and generally wear a size 4). The zipper in the back does slip a little through the night, so you may want to consider fastening it with a safety pin or tape.

Picked this dress out for our elopement at city hall. It was very comfy and and didn't have to worry too much about my undergarments! I did end up having to size up because it does cinch at the waist too much. I also found a nice jeweled belt to bring it all together. Glad I was able to use this as my something borrowed!

The dress is stunning. The way it flows when you walk is so dreamy. It was perfect.

Rented this for our family photo shoot. This dress was the perfect length, I wore little boots and the long ran perfect. Classy and beautiful.

I rented this dress for our engagement pictures and it was absolutely stunning! The detail in the lace made this dress so beautiful to photograph. I typically wear a 2-4 in RTR and ended up wearing the 4 and it was still a little snug. I would size up. I love this dress so much, almost as much as my wedding dress!

Amazing!! This was was just a ladies dress. Simple and elegant!! Fitting true to size I would recommend doing your natural size with a size up as your backup size. This dress has no stretch. At 36d and 5"4 the 16 fit like a glove. I would recommend keeping this look classy with studs or a simple drop earring.

I am 5'3 127lbs, the dress fit perfectly! The petite size was ideal for my height. I was wearing high heels and the dress length was perfect. I am usually a size 4, and the size 4 petite worked for me.

Completely in love with this dress. Wore it for my engagement pictures and would love to purchase it! I'm 5'9 and 135 lbs.... wore the 2L and it was perfect. Definitely tight in the shoulders as others had previously reviewed but GORGEOUS dress.

This dress was actually my backup dress, but it could not have been more perfect for our gender reveal photos. It was elegant, timeless and made me feel absolutely beautiful (even with my growing baby bump). Beautiful gown. Lots of compliments.

I've received more compliments on this gown than any other rental EVER! It's truly a show stopper. Only issue... I found it to run small! Granted, I have a large chest and broad back, but the 4 would not even zip! The 6 was even a tight squeeze (I'm usually a 4-6) Not sure why my experience was so different from other renters

Absolutely loved this dress and could not have asked for anything better for our wedding day! The length was perfect with my 3in heels! The strap around the waste is a little snug but doable!

We snuck away to Monterey and got married and this dress was perfect. Shipped right to the hotel an dropped it off the next day. I cannot say enough wonderful thing about this dress. Beautiful and easy!

This dress is a dream. I rented it for engagement photos. The ribbon at the waist doesn't have much give but is comfortable if you have the right size. The fabric is beautiful. I regretted wearing it for the photos because I loved it so much I wanted to wear as my wedding dress. Highly recommend.

Beautifully made. The lower part has a unique weight and falls perfectly. I had to order a bigger size because this one fit me too tight. I rented it for my wedding and received so many compliments. Perfect for dancing, very comfortable.

I rented this for my backyard wedding. There weren't many options on rtr for the actual bride but this one was perfect for my occasion. I couldn't believe how amazing it looked on me. My only con was that the regular was a little too long for me so I had to wear bigger heels so as not to drag the dress everywhere. I'm around 5'3 for reference, but short option wasn't available.loved the lace component of the top and sleeves. It made me look thinner. It felt so romantic and classic.

I’m normally a size 12 and that’s what I ordered! The dress is super comfy but a little tight on the top and around the waist. Overall I loved the dress but probably could have taken a size up (which isn’t available) Also, the length was perfect!! I’m 5”7 and was able to wear flats!

I'm 5'7" (and a half) and was worried the regular would be too short, but it turned out to be perfect length! The fit was perfect as well, maybe a little tight around the shoulders for me, but otherwise just perfect. I received so many compliments and so many people told me they were obsessed with my dress. Wish I could have kept it!

The dress fit true to size. I had to use spanx to smooth it out as well as to hide any underwear lines. I would have ordered the longer version had I known but this was perfect with sandals. Elegant, understated and simply beautiful. I received so many compliments!

The fit of the dress was great except for the length. I'm only 5'1 so I had to wear very tall heels but even then, I had to lift the dress to avoid it dragging on the floor. It was still worth it because the lace detail and quality of the dress exceeded my expectations. I wish I owned it!

This dress was absolutely stunning! I loved it! I rented this dress for prom and the only thing that stunk was the sleeves were a little tight when it came to dancing but other than that I have no complaints. I am 6ft and the 8L fit perfectly it was the first time a dress has ever been long enough. If I wore heals though it would have been to short.

The length was perfect with a 3' heel and the fit was awesome. I was able to sit, stand and dance and never had a problem. I received so many compliments from everyone.

This dress is absolutely beautiful. The sleeves are a bit snug, but even with the 2 they were tight. I loved the top of the dress, but I thought the bottom was less flattering. It clings a little bit, and isn't fitted at all. I would recommend this dress for sure.

I wanted the Amber Gown when I first saw it but it wasn't available in my size on my wedding date. I chose a different gown at the Flatiron store and didn't think twice. Two days before my wedding, I was told that the replacement gown for the one I chose came into the warehouse damaged. I was asked to pick other gowns. I decided to check if the Amber Gown was available in a 4. It was not but they sent me the 6. Thank god they did because the dress I was going to wear was still too long with 3.5 inch heels. I am 5'4". The Amber Gown, however perfect length-wise, was still a size too large for my body. I made it work with the "bride to be sash" from rent the runway and a tulle skirt underneath. We improvised and I felt beautiful. Everyone stopped me asking me if my dress was vintage. The staff at rent the runway was super helpful from the folks i corresponded with online to the ones at the store. I am thrilled with my dress.

A little long for me (5'6") but not too bad! zipper kept coming down in the back but was able to fix it by just pinning the top.

The fit was true to size. I recommend getting the regular length if you're average height. The mid section hugs a little but not bad. This dress is gorgeous and I love all the lace detail in the neck and sleeve area!!! Made me even more excited to wear my wedding dress the next day!!

The girl normally wore a size 8, but there was none available. The size 6 actually fit her perfectly!

I had originally ordered a lavender gown and it was unable to be shipped. I was a little panicked, but the stylist helped me and was so wonderful and I ended up choosing this dress which was absolutely the PERFECT dress for me. She even sent accessories to be so helpful, considerate, and understanding of the situation. It was a wonderful experience. I will use Rent the Runway again and undoubtedly girls from my class will be using your services as well. :-) I felt STUNNING!!!

I wore this dress to a formal benefit and received a lot of compliments. It doesn't look too wedding-y, which is good. It fits really well and is really comfortable and easy to move in. I'm 5'4'' and the regular may have been a little too long (i wore 3.5 inch heels)

When I first got the dress it was a little wrinkled but in person and in pictures you can't see it. Just a stunning dress, be careful this dress can easily get dirty. Would love to wear this dress again, you will be getting compliments often.
