Moschino Cheap and Chic brings something flirtatious and sophisticated at the same time with this perfect purple dress. An easy silhouette fits most body types. Pair with flats for an office party or sky-high pumps after-hours.
This was a really odd-fitting dress. My first size, the chest fit great (36B) but it was incredibly tight in the waist (38.5 hips, 30.5 waist). The second dress...perfect fitting in the waist, HUGE and ridiculously drapey in the chest area. Neither of them looked right. Which was fine...the style seemed a little old-fashioned. My husband called it a "grandma dress".
I would not normally have rented a size 4 (40), but the stylist assured me this was the right size for me and the higher up sizes were out. I'm 5'7" and 136lbs. The top of the dress fit, but the bottom was so small I couldn't even put it on all the way. I don't even think I would have fit into a size 6. I love the color, so it was a shame I couldn't wear it, but I had a second dress as backup.
This dress ran one size large. I'm 5'2" with a 34C bust, normally wear a size 27/28 jeans and S or M tops. Not fat but let's just say I don't have rock hard abs. I picked a 42 and it fit rather loosely. Definitely order one size down.
