I rented this dress for our company holiday party. Got lots of compliments. Was different from the many all black dresses. Because I'm only 5'2" it landed just below the knee but still worked well. 

I ordered both size 0 and 2; ended up wearing the 0 - true fit.  I wore it to chaperone my daughter's 8th grade formal so I needed to look nice but also be able to move.  Perfect length and super comfy.  I was really tempted to just buy this dress!  

I'll be honest, I absolutely loved the fit and style of this dress. However, be prepared to be itchy under your arms! The material is not skin-friendly (or maybe my skin is ultra sensitive) though I did I plenty of compliments. I would love to rent this again IF I didn't have to worry about being itchy!

It's such high quality. But just a heads up - unlike most lace dresses, this one has NO stretch. No give. The size is the size, the fit is the fit. I recommend it, though this shouldn't be the dress you choose for an event that involves a 4 course meal and staying seated (the delicate buttons might pop)! It's great for mingling/showing off a bit! 

The fit was on the small side. Normally I wear an 8, so I'm really glad I got the extra size because the 10 was much more comfortable. Other than that, it is such a great dress. Hides traditional bra straps and easy to accessorize. Kind of speaks for itself, so looks good with simple hair and accessories, I found. I toned down from what I had originally planned.

This was actually a little more on the fancy side for the evening's event that I went to. Expect that the sparkles certainly will help you stand out! Pros: while visually flashy, it is also conservative in cut and flattering for a slim form. Cons: the fabric is rough and can cause chaffing under your arms! Unless you've got sticks for upper arms, make sure you take that into consideration! The zipper was also a challenge to get closed, both because of the narrow fit and the fabric. You may need a second pair of hands, depending. 
My overall take is this dress did the job for the event, but it didn't define my night. I would not be looking to rent this again.

I love Milly dresses, and this dress is just gorgeous.  The detail on both the gold and black portions on the dress is beautifully done.  The gold and black combination is very elegant and perfect for a winter party.  It is comfortable and flattering - I received so many compliments!  The 4 fit, but I have a broad back from years of swimming and the 6 was a little more comfortable around my back and shoulders.   I loved the gold cuff and earrings I chose to go with it (also from RTR).  I'm thinking I will rent this same ensemble this coming winter for a wedding!

Love this dress! In fact there have been several
events I wanted to rent it for but it just wasn't right or my size wasn't available. I wore this dress to a cocktail dinner at a Convention. I usually wear a size 6 but based on reviews I got the 6 & the 8 and I'm glad I did! The 6 fit but there was no give for sitting! So I wore the 8 which fit more comfortably so that I could sit for dinner. The bust area was a little loose but it wasn't noticeable at all other than to me. The lace was a bit itchy not nothing too bad. I would def rent this dress again! In fact I didn't want to send it back so if it becomes one they sell I would probably but it! 

 I am a size 0  but this dress seems to be tight so i am glad i have a back up size . Size 2 was perfect.  But there was a problem , the zipper wont go up. It took me a while to figure out why the zipper wont go up. I got frustrated, asked hubby to help me with it. Found out , the zipper was stuck.  I rented this dress for my 40th Birthday  photoshoot ,  However , the zipper will go up if im not wearing it, there is a trick how to zip it up. But the dress is so beautiful and fabulous, i just have to take a pic of me sideways, so you CANT see the zipper LOL. Here it is! 

I told RTR about this problem, just to let them know to fix it.  I didnt expect anything  but i was surprised when she said, she will get me another  free of charge.   AWesome RTR! Good birthday present. Thank you.  I would rate Customer service 5 Star!! 

If sequins aren't your thing this dress is the perfect amount of shine for New Years Wedding. Comfortable fit, true to size and easy to dance in. Would rent again. 

From reading other reviews I was prepared for it to run small.  The lace was scratchy, but I only had to wear it a few hours, so it wasn't really a problem. Overall I thought it was a pretty dress.

I wore this to my mother-in-law's wedding, and it was a hit! I could see how some people may have trouble with the size, because the rib-cage fit me perfectly and I have a slightly small ribs. I received many compliments. It was classy and sweet, and the little black bow in front adds an extra feminine touch. 

I went with the bigger size because there isn't much give.  The length was perfect and it was comfortable to wear all day.

I usually wear a 4 but decided to get the 6 as the back up instead of the 2.  I am so glad I did. I ended up wearing the 6 and wished I had done the 8.  The 8 would have fit perfectly but I made the 6 work.  Loved this dress and I would absolutely rent it again.  

Pros: Very beautiful, lots of details that make it stand out. Cons: Uncomfortable everytime I put my arms down, the fabric was beautiful but irritated my skin on my arms. The zipper is on the side and it was troublesome to get the zipper through the belt area on the dress because the fabric was different. At first I thought I was to fat for the dress but realized I had a lot of loose fabric in that section so I feel that this was just a flaw in design. 

Overall I felt this was a nice dress for a holiday occasion party or if you have a formal occasion.

Go up a size or two. Its elegant and timely and classic at the same time. I received many compliments. If you have a smaller top with a small was it and big hips and thigh this dress is perfect for you. Great for a more conservative wedding ---I wore a shawl. COmfortable to dance in. The dress is nicely lined. I would rent this dress again---I never felt so pretty! 

Overall fit was good - modest but still has some classy sex appeal. Great for a work holiday party, which is what I wore it for. I personally had an issue with the zipper, it kept snagging. But once I got it to work, no other complaints. It isn't as much of a show stopper as some other dresses on RTR. I have received many compliments in the past on other dresses, not so much with this one. That is the only reason I gave it a 4, but still a very good dress overall.

I ordered the 0 and the 2. Originally I had trouble zipping the 0 by myself so put the 2 on, which fit perfectly fine. My husband was able to get the 0 zipper and it fit a lot better for me. I am pretty small up top so I had no issues- however if you're bigger it might be snug. The part of the dress that has the band was fairly tight, but I was never uncomfortable. The dress is overall very comfortable and would buy it if I could. Loved my experience with RTR and will be renting again!!! 

This was a great dress. The ribbon was a little tight so the bigger size made it more comfortable. I normally wear a 6 and the dress I wore was an 8. I am also a little shorter than the models so the dress was a little longer on me.That was perfectly fine. With the elegant lace, I wore simple diamond earrings and looked well put together. I would recommend this dress to anyone.

The bow is not stretchy and came a little wrinkled so I had to steam it. That is truly my only complaint about the dress. Fits very true to size (I wear a size 8 in Gap jeans and a size 8 in this dress). The material has a beautiful sheen and is soft against your skin. 

The dress fit great! I had no problem dancing, no snugness on my hips or thighs. There was a small tear of the lining on the right side of the dress at the seam near the bottom, you couldn't see it though. The zipper was a little hard zipping up but once it was zipped I was completely comfortable and felt no squeezing or tightness. I loved this dress!  

For some reason, RTR only sent me the larger size (2) and it fit well but there was a moment of panic until the zipper made it all the way up. This may be a real size 2 - I don't feel like these numbers mean anything anymore, but if you are a bustier petite gal as I am, you may want to oder a size from usual for a backup. This dress was in pristine shape and I got compliments all evening.

After all the awards were given out someone came up to me and said "if there were an award for best dressed, you would have gotten that award hands down!"  I loved this dress, very classy and fashionable, easy to style with it, flattering, and a good length.  The reviews said the middle band was on the tights side, and I would agree, without that I may have been able to wear a 6, but the 8 was just fine! I loved it. 

I was looking for something dressy, but not too revealing, for a work function that I was going to.  The dress fit really well overall and a regular strapped bra could be worn with it. The chest area was a little big, but I made it work. The material is slightly itchy, but worth dealing with for how nice it looked on. Other than the itchy material, I was very comfortable and covered in this dress and didn’t have to worry about and wardrobe malfunctions in front of coworkers. This dress is perfect for a company holiday party or fall/winter wedding. One tip is to steam the bow – it came a little smashed and with the touch of a steamer, it puffed back up. 

Beautiful perfect dress for a fall wedding.  Everyone was complimenting me and telling me how great I looked - this dress is definitely an ego booster.  It's a pretty tight fit though, so at the beginning of the wedding was feeling great but after dinner I definitely had to stop myself from finishing my plate - I could feel the dress getting tighter around my rib cage! I tend to be pretty narrow and small chested so if you are not so slim or flat on top I would definitely size up.  The last thing to note about the dress is that even though the material is beautiful but it did get pretty scratchy on my arms whenever it scratched against the dress - honestly it just meant I was dancing wildly with my arms in the air most of the time :D In spite of that - I actually think I would rent this dress again - that's how amazing I felt in it all night :)))

This dress does run small from the bust line down.  Like other reviews stated,  the band under the bust line has no give, which made me go up a size.  

Some renters of this dress commented on the scratchy gold material and they were right, it was a little scratchy but it didnt bother me too much. the dress was tight fitting. I had a little trouble zipping up the side of the dress. But i wore my usual size and wore my "adds 1 cup" bra to make the front fill out more. I opted for dangly gold earrings and a chunkier gold bracelet. I wore strappy black heels. I got a few comments on the dress. People don't believe I rented it. I thought it was perfect for the wedding and I was able to dance and get low in it. The bow in the front was a little frayed though. I snipped the frayed edges and forgot about it. This picture really shows how glittery the front of the dress. It's a darker gold. I wore this for an October wedding. 

Side zipper was a little hard to work with - otherwise, the dress was perfect!

This dress was beautiful,  I received many compliments on it.  I wish I would have ordered the 8 as my back up size. The six was very fitted and a little tight under the arms, but it worked fine.  I'm very narrow in the hips, but have broad shoulders and wear a 36 C or 34 D bra.  

The material is quite heavy, so wearing this for an outdoor August wedding ceremony probably wasn't the best choice. Regardless, the dress was great. I am usually a size 6 and it would have look better around my bust area to wear a size 6, but the material does not stretch at all by the ribbon area, so I know it would be more comfortable to sit in with a size 8. Towards the end of the night, my arms started feeling a bit irritated due to the rubbing against the lacing of the material.

This was my first RTR experience. RTR mistakingly shipped my dress to their shipping location and not to my address. However, I called when I noticed it the delivery was made to another location and they expedited my dress to the proper address. Customer service deserves 5-stars.

I fell in love with this dress and knew I needed to find an event to wear it to. Thankfully the opportunity came up and I was able to rent for a formal office party. The top doesn't stretch much but overall the dress was gorgeous, it fit well, and looked great all night. I was so sad to have to return this one. 

When the dress first arrived I wasn't sure I was going to love it. The stitching on the black lace overly of the bottom half of the dress was a little silver and and I initially didn't like it because it didn't match the rest of the fabric but it was my only wardrobe option for the wedding I was attending. Once I got ready the day of the event I was surprised to discover that I really loved the dress! It fit perfectly, wasn't tight in the hips and I didn't need my back up size. It is a little itchy when you first put it on but I didn't notice it at all the rest of the evening. The lining is a silk like material which means it doesn't stretch or breathe so I don't think I would recommend this for an outdoor event in the summer. Overall I really enjoyed this dress and would definitely recommend it.

It was a beautiful dress - I ended up going with the 6 over the 4 - it definitely runs a little small, so I would opt for the next size up when ordering. It was a great dress though - I chose it because I had a formal gala for work and a bachelorette party the same night and I wanted something I could wear to both. It was comfortable although the beading rubs against your arms a little, but not too much to be annoying. Everyone loved it and I even got compliments from strangers! It was a good choice!

Great fit. Looks good without showing the goods, which is what I look for in a work party. 

I loved wearing this dress! I thought it looked classic and subtly glamorous. The size 2 fit, but I wore the 4, as it gave me a little more room to breathe and dance. The fabric rubbed against my arms, which was uncomfortable by the end of the night, but bearable. The lace was frayed slightly at the bottom hem, but I don't think it was noticeable to anyone but me. I received complements throughout the night, and loved my first RTR experience! 

My only complaint is it sometimes hurt under my arms when the dress material would rub against it. But wasn't horrible. 

It fit me well, but I am not very curvy. I probably could have worn the 2, except the waist was too small. It is hard to see but there is a wide ribbon and a flat bow around the waist and there is no give in that area. Thankfully I ordered the 2 and 4! I would recommend for anyone without a lot of curves.
