I typically wear size zero, but saw a few reviews that said the dress ran small. While I would have preferred to order zero and two, only size zero and four were available. Luckily (lucky charm?) the zero fit perfectly and I loved that it had a built in bra. For this particular dress, unfortunately I noticed the tinsel was a little unraveled on the side and on the inside part of the boning was poking through. I contacted RTR right away and received a prompt response of what u could do- and I decided to still wear the zero, as the four was big on me. This dress is absolutely perfect for an outdoor summer wedding. The pattern is beautiful and the dress stands out from all of the sundresses. I paired the dress with nude strappy heels and gold jewelry. I received numerous comments on the dress from wedding guests and even event staff- everyone wanted to know where I got it, or who made it. I love sharing RTR with everyone, the usual response is shock when I describe the brilliance of RTR. RTR is especially perfect for me as I am an Event Planner and with numerous events every week- it's my best kept not-so-secret!

Beautiful dress, the fabric is amazing- More iridescent than in the photo. Dress has elastic at the bust line to help keep it up, which I found helpful. I received a ton of compliments! A good find. Runs a little snug, but generally true to size. If you are in between sizes I would size up.

Overall, I was very happy with this dress. It had a built-in bra which is always a plus. Unfortunately, the bra was super tight and made it uncomfortable to sit down. There was no hook-and-eye so I didn't feel like I could unhook the bra and still have support. The fit was perfect in the waist but got a bit bunched when sitting. The dress fell right above my knee. So many people told me they loved this dress and I'm very happy that I chose it. I was worried that it would look worn (note other comments) but besides a little fraying of the gold threads the dress was in great condition.

The dress fits great on me. The built in bra strap helped provide a tight fit so that it made my boobs look bigger in the sweetheart neckline cut. I loved everything about it. My only complaint was my constant wardrobe malfunction. For some strange reason, the zipper kept unzipping itself exposing my back. People kept telling me that my zipper was down.

The fit was great throughout the body of the dress. It was too tight to wear a strapless bra but surprisingly did not feel like it was falling down all night. For girls with wider rib cages: it does not have a hook and eye closure, just a zipper up the back, so be aware of that when ordering the dress

This dress wasn't my favorite but still looked great. I loved the colors and sparkle, but the material was a bit uncomfortable and had no give - definitely ran smaller than noted. It especially was tight around the waist, and awkwardly pushed upward when I walked. Also, the zipper in the back had no clasp and kept falling down - my boyfriend had to put a safety pin there so it wouldn't anymore. Overall had a great night and RTR experience but wouldn't rent this dress again!

Fits true to size, fitted a littler small on me but luckily it fitted. It has a bra strap which is great because it holds your bust and its not needed to wear a bra. The top is like a bustier and after the waist is loose fabric. I wore it for my fiancee corporate christmas dinner party.

Loved this dress, it's really beautiful, very glamorous and classy- I wore this to the hospital ball where I am a nurse at. This dress is definitely for someone looking to make a statement. The nitty gritty: for an hourglass shaped woman, the fit was a bit weird. I'm 5'8" with a regular size torso- the cut seemed to be for someone with a short torso- the hips really were up higher than where they were supposed to be, so the dress kept bunching up. The coloring: the dark part is a dark navy blue, not black. The length was perfect for someone my height, this dress would definitely be too long for someone shorter than 5'6". All in all, besides the cut, I was very happy with this rental.

Renting this dress was the best decision I made. It fight perfectly to my body and I received compliments all night. The one problem I could see would be the built in bra area, if you are bigger in that area it could be a little snug and irritating. I would 100% rent this dress again. I kept the whole look simple and I paired it with a Rebecca Minkoff handbag, also rented from RTR. This is definitely a dress that I would recommend to all my friends and family, it makes you feel amazing!

Honestly, this was not my favorite RTR rental. First of all, it was tight across my hips but oddly loose around the waist. The lining was somewhat twisted causing me to constantly readjust the dress all night. And it almost looked like the front of the dress was black and the back was navy blue (but that might just have been due to wear over time). I still felt pretty and my husband liked it but overall not my favorite and I would not rent it again.

I wore this dress for a bridal shower brunch with a white cardigan, pearls, and nude pumps. The dress was a hit! I was surprised that the material was as lightweight as it was and had a gold thread that looked gorgeous in the sunlight; both an added bonus. The boning in the dress helped to keep it up and maintain a nice snug fit against my waist. The hemline hit just below my knee which was okay since it was strapless and the added hemline length kept it modest for sitting. I wore a strapless bra with the dress and that seemed sufficient enough although I'm sure a Nubra would've been more comfortable in retrospect. Overall I got lots of compliments on my dress!!!

Pros: Hard to find a dress for a September wedding, especially one that goes from day to night. This dress fit the bill. I tend to wear a 2 or a 4 - the 4 fit perfectly, although there was a little room to spare up top (I wear a 32 or 34B). I appreciated the built in strapless bra, but was annoyed that when clasped on the tightest clasps, the dress almost bagged out in back, so you could see the bra! Maybe made for someone bigger up top. Overall, I wish I owned this dress, I can think of a million occasions for which it would be appropriate. Would love to buy!

I absolutely loved this dress! The style was simple, and the print was so fun! I loved the gold detailing. I would say that in natural light, the black did turn a bit navy-looking, but still very pretty. It did fit a little tight up top, but I was still comfortable enough to have a blast on the dance floor all night! I rented the Kate Spade gold clutch to go along with the dress, and was very happy with it. It was the perfect size for what I needed, and was big enough to fit a pair of flip flops for later in the night. Very happy with my first Rent the Runway experience!

I loved this dress! The pattern is really pretty in person and goes well with gold accessories. I wore the 0 and it fit well, but I probably could have used the 2 to tone down the cleavage. However, the 2 was significantly bigger through the midsection and hips and was several inches longer - below my knees! So I went with the 0 and just didn't snap the built in bra. The dress was tight enough to keep everything in place even through a late night of dancing!

size 0 & 2 truthfully I thought I would need the size 2 (since my ribs are big) but nope! :D as mentioned before the inner bra strap does make the back a bit weird. The size 0 dress is worn out, the gold lining was falling apart (i had to trim the lining that was ripped and drooping). the black is actually a Navy Blue, the white is a creamish yellow. I wore a push up bra and with the built-in bra it really made my chest popped ;) I wish the length of the dress was a tad shorter (or my legs suddenly got longer) as you can see in the picture it is directly right above my knees. 3 stars because the dress was worn out and the gold lining was just coming off. But overall it is a pretty good dress. p.s. don't expect to get down and dirty in this dress.

I wore this for a nice summer wedding. Very appropriate for the occasion. It's not my favorite rental, but I got a ton of compliments on it anyway! The dress was a bit looser around the hips on me (and you can even notice that on the model). It's made of very nice material and has flecks of gold throughout. It looks great paired with a bold choker. I cinched the waist with a thin gold belt. The only problem was that my boyfriend didn't like the fact that it wasn't skin-tight... MEN.

Milly is a go-to designer for me. So I wasn't taking much of risk here. I wore this to a wedding and got tons of compliments on it. Everyone was so surprised I rented it because it fit so well! My only complaint is the under wire was popping out of the built in bra and it hurt! also the built in bra doesn't fit. There's a big gap between the bra strap inside and the outside of the dress. looks weird. so I wore my own bra inside and there was a lot of shifting going on through the night because of the friction.

I got so many compliments on this dress! I ordered it in a 2 and a 4, and the 2 fit better up top but for some reason was several inches longer than the 4- it went past my knees! So I used the bra clip in the 4 to help it stay up, although this did make it gap a bit in the back and I didn't have any fashion tape to fix it. Other than that it fit great and was comfortable to be dancing in all night.

Ordered this for a summer wedding in Santa Fe. LOVED the dress, but the fit was a bit concerning at first. I'm usually a 0 or 2, but after reading reviews that it ran small, I ordered the 2. Was worried it was huge until I realized there was an inner bra. Once that was hooked (and I slipped a padded strapless bra in--apparently it is meant for bigger than a B cup!), it was great. Was worried the print was a bit "sparkle on bad french toile curtains", but loved it in person.

It is definitely true that this dress runs small. I typically wear an 8 but it was a tight fit in the hips and somewhat restrictive. However, the 10 was also slightly too large for my size 34C boobs. The fashion tape RTR provided came to the rescue and the dress definitely impressed at my friend's residency graduation banquet. This is the first time I have rented for RTR and I am very satisfied. The experience was easy, the dress (and back-up size) were delivered on time, and it looked great. I am now an RTR fan!

I ordered sizes 0 & 2, both fit well (without the built in bra-thing, more on that later), but the 0 was just a bit more snug so I went with that. After eating and drinking at a wedding, the boning in the dress was very uncomfortable, so think about that before you eat a lot. The dress came with a built in bra, that was super tight even on the loosest setting. I chose not to close it because if I did the back fabric was loose and looked weird. It was a great length, I was able to sit without worrying about it being too short. I had gold, black & tan accessories that went great with the dress.

I wore this in a size 6 for the Philadelphia Magazine Wine Festival. The reviews here helped me pick my size. I am a 34D bra size and 5' tall gal weighing 117 lbs. and it fit perfect! The dress comes with built in bra that is not padded which helps support the bust. My waist is 28 and it was roomy around the waist but not large. The size was perfect because it fit my bust. It went down past my knees. The dress itself is very pretty. It has gold details that are embroidered which make it look even better in person. It has ribs built in to provide tummy control. Over all a good choice at a good price. I loved it and returned it!

The dress fit very well... except for the "bra strap" they have inside the dress. It makes the chest area very tight, even without a bra. I unhooked the "bra strap" and felt relieved! It is NOT necessary to strap the bra as the zipper stayed up and the dress stayed in place perfectly. This is a beautiful dress!

I didn't get a chance to wear this one... went for the Pink Oahu Fan Dress by Trina Turk instead, as it was a beach wedding in Florida. Will rent this one in the future, was very flattering!
