The details weren't really visible in the pictures on the website but when I got it I was pleased. Very pretty gold woven into the black. Comfortable, and I was very surprised when it stayed up! I usually have trouble with strapless dresses but this one wasn't annoying and I didn't constantly have to pull up on it. Overall, very good (: I wore this to a dance and I had a great time in it!

I rent this dress for a Christmas party. Everyone loved it! It is a thicker material so it was nice to wear it in the winter. Everyone complimented on the dress. I got 2 sizes and ended up going with the smaller one since the fabric is very stretchy, and it helped hold it up better.

Rent the Runway made my sorority formal a care-free, fabulous, and stunning affair. I ordered my dress Wednesday, and it was delivered (as promised), a day later. The dress is a little heavy, but it is true to size, and flatters your curves and chest, especially. I got tons of compliments!! I would absolutely rent this one again! Thanks RTR!

I usually wear a 2 or 4 and ordered this dress in both sizes. The 4 was way too loose in the top, so I wore the 2 (even though I preferred the length on the 4). I could have probably gotten away with a 0 since the top of the 2 was also a bit loose. I wore it to a family function with black tights & ankle boots and a long, gray, open cardigan and it looked great.

I wore this dress for New Year's Eve. The material is much different than I imagined - very sweater-like and flecked with gold pieces. It pairs well with gold. The dress was also much lower than I imagined. You will definitely need Hollywood Fashion cups with the dress. The bodice is fitted and very flattering. I am 5'2" and the dress hit me perfectly above the knee.

I have rented now several times and I've always felt beautiful for my events. The customer service reps and fit specialists do an amazing job of making sure you get the right dress (in the right size) for every occasion

I rented this as my backup NYE dress and ended up wearing it to steal the show. It's comfortable even though it's very form fitting. It worked really well with my small bust (and actually made it look like I had something up there). In person, the dress looks almost like it's woven with gold...although in some photographs it just looks like a well fitted lbd. I usually opt for dresses with more color but this was a perfect choice!

I typically wear a size 8 or 10 so I ordered both sizes. The 10 fit too large and the fabric was very bulky and not flattering. The 8 fit perfectly in the body but was too small around the bust. The dress also had a structured bust with corset-like supports those dug into my skin if I was sitting, I was unable to wear this dress and was not happy with it.

Not a fan of this dress. 5 out of 6 dresses I have rented from RTR I have worn and loved but not this one. The fabric is thick and there is too much so it bunches up. Also, the sweetheart neckline is not cut well and it swallowed my frame. Maybe be better for taller girls?

It is a really weird material that the picture doesn't show well. It is a very heavy material that the rouching adds inches to your waist. I was not blown away by this dress and had wished I got something with a more "wow" affect so I returned it. The bust area fits really weird and isn't particularly flaterring.

I really liked this dress a lot, and everybody at the party loved it too. I was really hoping that it would give me some like cleavage as well because of the cut, but it really didn't. haha i know some reviews are saying it did that for them, but not me. that's okay it was still a showstopper for sure.

The dress is snug but it was very comfortable! The rouching was very flattering to my figure and I felt great in it! Only problem is I don't have a very blessed chest, and the dress didn't seem to fit as well in that part, so definitely would say you need a little something more for this dress to be perfect!

The texture of the fabric was too thick for the ruching and made the dress less flattering than it could have been. The fabric also had had a weird feel to it. I would say that this dress would work much better for a girl under 23 that wants classic lines but with some modern details e.g. the ruching and barely noticeable zig zag pattern of the fabric.

Awesome dress more gold than what it looked like in the picture

I wore the -0- and it fit like a glove.. I'm a 34A and it gave me cleavage I usually dont have. The dress was in excellent condition. The only issue I had with it was that the flaps of the sweatheart neckline folded over and showed a bit of the black lining.,A bit of double sided tape helped resolve the issue. It hit mid thigh and I am 5' 2'' . I would def rent again. I had made a mistake with the rental date and the Customer service rep came through and overnighted the dress to the new address.

I rented this dress for a night out in Vegas. It was form fitting with just the right amount of sparkle. The neckline dips tastefully low, which feels sexy without being uncomfortable. Length of the skirt was not too short. I was very comfortable in this dress and had a great time!

Super cute dress! Unfortunately RTR had run out of the smaller size of this dress, which I didn't think would be a problem. In the end I either lost weight unexpectedly or the dress ran large. It was a bit loose in the bust and i highly suggest getting some wicked fashion tape to keep everything in place.

I got this dress for my birthday but the fit was very large and baggy. I am 5'5' 130 and usually wear a 4 or a 6. The 4 in this dress was too big. The sweatheart neck was too low and the dress looked a little frumpy becasue of all the ruching/gathering. I'm glad my back up dress (Herve Leger Uncontrollable) was a perfect fit.

I ordered this dress as my back up NYE dress. Although the fit was great, I felt like it didn't have that WOW factor I wanted. The top of the dress rides a little high and the material of the dress makes you appear slightly larger than you really are. Also, I am 5'2" so the bottom of the dress rested much lower (like below my knees). I did like the dress and would consider wearing it to one of the many evening weddings I have to attend this year. However, I went with a gorgeous Tibi frock instead.

This dress is tight fitting on the bottom, but runs a little loose/big on the top. I am 5'2" and it landed right above my knees. The material is on the heavy side, not a summer dress. Overall the dress looks very nice one, but was not the right fit for me.
