Feeling like a celebrity all night as people complimented me (and my boyfriend) on my dress

I rented this dress for a Vegas trip and was a bit overwhelmed by the attention it caused. fit wise, It was a little big on me, the xs wasn't available so I took my chances and rented the small which I ended up belting at the waist to give it some definition. I don't think I've ever gotten as many compliments in one night as I did wearing this dress. It was a little overwhelming, other reviewers were NOT lying when they said all eyes are on you in this dress. Very true, so much so that I ended up changing my outfit after dinner. It was still a night, and a dress that I will never forget!

I really love this dress, and not go unnoticed. People were complimenting me from across the street! It was perfect for a girls trip to Vegas. Even though it was form fitting, the material was forgiving and flattering. It ran about mid-thigh length on me.

You'll definitely turn heads in this dress! I wore this sparkly number to my non-profit's "Silver Anniversary Gala and it was a huge hit. The dress definitely has undertones of red, so I paired with a pair of red chunky heels which looked fabulous and added a much needed pop of color to the ensemble. The one snag I ran into is that the sequins kept getting caught on each other. Because of the long-sleeves, when I would have my arms down the sleeves would catch on the bottom of the dress and I would have to unhook myself. I would also be careful if you're super petite like me. Though I made do, it ran slightly large under my bust and in the stomach area and didn't have the "like a glove" fit I was hoping for. I think this has to do with my shape and isn't a flaw with the dress, though it would have been perfect had it come in number sizes rather than XS, S, M, L.

The overall fit was great! It had enough room and give to be able to dance in and wasn't too short. I wanted something flashy that I would stand out in being the bachelorette, and this dress definitely did just that. It also wasn't scratchy which I was concerned about after reading some of the reviews. I would definitely recommend this dress and can't wait to use RTR again.

I rented this dress for a charity event. I felt like a million bucks! I got so many wonderful compliments. I rented a Medium and the Small. I ended up wearing the Small, It fit like a glove. The sleeves were a little scratchy at first but nothing unbearable. The Medium was a little looser in the sleeves but I didn't like how loose it was in the torso. Overall I have no complaints, I loved this dress so much I have been on a hunt to buy it!

Definitely a show stopper. Every place we went I received stares/complements. It fit me true to size, but I will admit it is NOT very breathable. So if you're not in a well air-conditioned place it can get a little stuffy. Other than that, an incredible dress of high quality. Loved it!

I was so excited to try this one on because of how much it truly sparkles! I was surprisingly so happy with how it fit! It was tight enough to show my shape but not too tight that I was self-conscious. This dress is perfect for 21st birthdays, nights in Vegas, or any night you want to stick out and look amazing. Only downsides are the itchiness on the underside of the arms and the fact that the arms have a lot of friction with the dress (having your arms at your side is a little difficult).

Perfect NYE dress! Dress fit true to size and was surprisingly comfy. The dress definitely has some stretch to it, so that is really good...especially if you're plus size like me. RTR doesn't always have options for larger bust sizes, but this was a good one. The sleeves come in handy during the winter. It definitely kept me warm. Note, the sequins can get VERY scratchy, I suggest wearing many things underneath.

I wore this dress for a night out in NYC for my cousins bachelorette party festivities. The dress was hot, I felt amazing, and people couldn't stop commenting about how I was sparkling all over the place. Legit, this dress is exactly what I was looking for on this night out. The sleeves are very snug so if you have bigger arms, beware. Your regular size may not fit. Also, be careful with this dress! It catches onto everything and it's very easy to catch a snag. Overall though...hot. Absolutely HOT!

Yes, that is Magic Johnson. I'm a TV producer and he was being honored by rapper, actor, philantropist Common for his Common Ground Foundation. (donate at commongroundfoundation.org) So now you see why I needed an awesome dress, yes? Here's the scoop. The dress is HOT. This is not for shy women, unless you're ready to break out of your shell. I expected to wear the medium, which fit my curves perfectly. I mean, like ... perfect. But those curves take up room and pulled the dress a little higher than I was confortable with when I moved. It was so short that it made me nervous so I traded the fit everywhere else for maybe 1/2 inch of fabric on the bottom. It is short. Very short. It is a standing dress, not a sitting dress. I sat down at a banquet table and you have to literally perch on your seat to keep all your family business from making an apperance. I didn't experience the itching that some women referenced. It will feel way shorter than it looks, just try not to think about it. I went with a bare leg and pewter shoes, the sequins are definitely darker than they appear in the rtr photo and there's a lot of copper and red coloring. It is a gorgeous dress, no doubt about it. You will own the room. Enjoy!

This is definitely an attention-grabber! The sequins are so pretty and photograph very well in pictures. It was true to size and I ended up wearing the zero. Can't say enough about this one! If you want to feel gorgeous, this is the dress. It stands out in the crowd for sure and you will get a ton of compliments on this one. I wore this to a formal charity event that involved lots of mingling and dancing. Very lightweight actually, easy to move in and the sequins were not bad due to the fact the dress is lined. Just the right length - not too short not too long. I wore the same earrings that the model has on and really liked those as well. I paired the dress with a dressy, blue heel to bring in some color and that made it all pop even more. Can't go wrong with this one ladies! You won't be disappointed! As a side note, I got a small as my first choice and medium as my second. Ended up going with the medium because the small was a little too tight around my bust. The medium fit perfectly and I was more comfortable throughout the night.

This dress was extremely comfortable, and fit like a glove. I am usually a 2-4, and a size S fit perfectly. Not too tight, very lightweight, and not itchy at all! The length was ideal (not too long, not too short) as I wore this to a work event. One thing I noticed is that the sequins on the inside sleeves sometimes got caught on the sides of the dress, but it wasn't a big deal. The dress arrived right on time and in great condition. I wore this for my father's 50th birthday celebration at a Russian restaurant. I don't think I have every received so many compliments about a dress and how I looked in it. The only thing that I did not like about the dress was the sequins kept snagging on each other (in the armpit area). I love this dress!! It was very comfortable, because the slip layer is a stretchier fabric. I wore it to our school's PTA adult only fundraiser and it fit the "cocktail attire" perfectly. It was a fun dress to wear out on the dance floor and I love that it had long sleeves. The sequence did get stuck to each other a few times, but it wasn't an issue. First experience with Rent the Runway and I am certain that I will be a returning renter!!

The dress fit so well for my petite frame and was an appropriate length without being too long or short. The sequins are more multi-colored than just silver as pictured, but I really liked it. Because of all the sequins it was/is hard to take a picture that really shows how good the dress looks on from all the light reflections. The sequins did snag on each other occasionally under the arms while I was wearing it, but it was nothing that really bothered me. It was also super comfortable and I didn't feel the normal scratches from sequins. Love it!

The dress was extremely comfortable. I rented both the medium and the large. I ultimately decided on the large because the medium was WAY toooo short. The large was short, but do-able. I just had to remind myself of how short it was. I loved how I felt in the dress and got compliments all evening. On thing I noticed was that some of the angles didn't photograph as well I as I wanted....since I looked like one big piece of glitter. The event photographer suggested that posing with a hand on the hip really helped to add lines to the dress. GREAT SUCESS!

Overall, this dress was fabulous! It's incredibly sparkly (in a good way), and you're bound to get a lot of second looks when wearing this dress. I agree with the other reviews about it being on the short side, but I'm only 5'4", so the small was perfect (not too short, but short enough). I also agree that the sleeves can get a little itchy, but I didn't even notice it after awhile (and it was totally worth it!). I would definitely recommend this dress as a way to spice up a party, bachelorette party, or fancy night out on the town.

For girls who are pear shaped like me, this dress definitely highlights that! Whether that's a good or a bad thing... you decide. Both the S and XS fit me, however I felt like the smaller size showed off my waist better, but showed my hips a little too much. So I went with the bigger size. Also, the sequins weren't all completely silver like I thought they would be! The dress had this rust/blue/redish tone to the sequins, in addition to the silver. Whether or not this is on purpose or from wear-and-tear I don't know. Either way, I really liked it! Got lots of compliments! It was super comfy too!

I was SO excited for this dress, and especially after reading all of the other reviews. When I first put it on, I wasn't so sure how I liked it. It was smaller and shorter than I was expecting. I will say though that for a larger bust, like mine, this dress was flattering. Despite my own uncertainty, everyone else seemed to love this dress (especially my boyfriend who wanted to know if I could keep it) and I was stopped numerous times throughout the night because of people complimenting me on it. I will say that as the night wore on, I liked the dress more and more, and it was pretty comfortable and WARM, which was good since it was freezing outside. I got a medium and a large sent to me. The medium fit but the shoulder pads were a little too restricting/tight, so I wore the large. The large that they sent me unfortunately had a really ugly crease right in the middle that I couldn't make go away, but it fit better so I wore it anyway, and it wasn't a huge problem. It's not as itchy as I thought it would be, especially with the help of the long sleeves. I wore black tights with the dress--careful--it tore them up at the hemline with the sequins rubbing on them all night. Overall, I wish the dress wasn't creased but that was my only major complaint! I got a lot of compliments and people said that they loved it, which made me love it too!

I rented this for my twenty first birthday and when I first received the dress I wasn't completely sold on it just because the sequins were larger than I expected. But put it on and you'll fall in love. It makes you feel like a million bucks. I wore the XS I found it was a little loose but not that much. I also did hem the dress with some dress tape because it was a little long but I'm a little short.

I wore this dress for my birthday celebration in Atlantic City and got a lot of compliments on it. I wasn’t sure how it would feel wearing a sequin dress all night, but it was surprisingly comfortable. The only thing I would say is that I tried to use the hemming tape that came with the dress to shorten it an inch or two; since the dress was a little heavier due to the sequins, the tape kept un-sticking. I ended up keeping it the regular length (which actually looked even better than when I tried to shorten it!) Also, the mid-section was a little looser than I thought it’d be. Overall, this is an great dress to wear to a party or formal event!

I was looking for a dress that would make a bold statement as soon as I walked through the door. The pictures do not do this dress enough justice. It looks fabulous in person! I"m very curvy especially in the back so it was a lot shorter than I anticipated and the sequence did get stuck to one another a few times during the night. Otherwise, I have no complaints. This dress is a show stopper and although I did get lots of compliments, I didn't need them. One look in the mirror and I knew I looked awesome.
