I got this dress/earrings for NYE 2012 and the medium dress fit perfectly, but unfortunately the hem was coming undone. It was an easy fix with some fashion tape and held throughout the night. My only real complaint with this dress were the sequins. They didn't itch or bother me all night, but the next morning I woke up to the entire inner section of my arm irritated and covered in bumps. Probably wouldn't rent it again, but it did look great in person and in photos! The earrings were amazing and I would absolutely recommend!!

I mostly loved this dress. The only con -- which most other reviewers also mention -- is that my arm was cut up pretty badly the next morning thanks to the sequins. I was definitely annoyed by this throughout the night and despite all the pros about the dress, I'm not sure I'd get it again just for that fact. However, if you have a thicker skin and can get passed it, everything else about the dress is amazing! I even decided to wear a regular-style bra, and just tucked the strap on the bare shoulder into the dress, so no uncomfortable strapless bras needed. It fit great, looked great and was perfect for a New Years Eve concert.

The dress is a little darker than it appears in the model picture, but it looks gorgeous when the light catches the gold sequence. It was comfortable to sit and dance in, and rose about halfway up my thigh (I'm only 5'1", so it might be short for taller girls). This was my first time purchasing from Rent the Runway so I was nervous, but everything worked out perfectly!

Was supposed to be the back-up dress...but it was perfect!

I actually rented two different dresses for an event, since I know I am so indecisive, and this was supposed to be the back-up, but I LOVED this dress...and didn't love the other so much, so this was perfect. I usually wear a 6 in skirts and dresses, and rented this in a small and it was wonderful. Fit like a glove, and the way it was gathered on the sides hid anything I didn't like. It was a little itchy under my arm, but what sequin dress isn't? I wore it with nude heels for half of the evening and then switched to black when my feet started killing, and both colors went great with the dress. Love loved it!

Great, flattering fit. The length of the dress was perfect too, which is something I'm always worried about being on the shorter side. I wasn't sure how the bow thing on the shoulder was supposed to lay, but I forgot about it after 5 minutes. Although you can feel the sequins a little bit when you first put the dress on, it wasn't nearly as bad compared to other sequined dresses I've worn in the past. This was my first RTR experience, and it was definitely a positive one!

It fit well and I got tons of compliments on it. It is stretchy and looked super small when I opened the bag, but it fit perfect.

I loved this dress! I wore the XS for a friend's bachelorette party and it fit perfectly. The material is a little stretchy so it was flattering while still being form fitting in the right places. It hit me about an inch and a half above the knee. If I were bustier, the underarm would have been a little scratchy, but it was fine for me.

Loved it! I ended up wearing the L because the M was really short on me (and I was attending an event with clients) but the waist was a little baggy, though not so much that it still didn't look nice. It was actually really comfortable save for some minor scratches on my underarms from the sequins (but that is the price you pay to wear full sequins!). Would definitely, definitely recommend.

This dress was perfect for my company holiday party. I received so many compliments & I felt like a million bucks :) There was plenty of stretch in the fabric to accommodate my figure, which is pear shaped. I chose the size medium because the top of the Large was too loose. As the other reviews state, there was slight scratching under the arm, but I didn't notice until the end of the night.

I rented this dress for my 21st birthday dinner and it was absolutely gorgeous! The colors are much more vibrant in person and the fabric is stretchy so it fits great. The fit was true to size. It does highlight your middle a little, but throw on some spanx and you are good to go. As a couple other reviews mentioned, the sequins did rub under the arm a little but it was not unbearable and I would still definitely recommend this dress.

I rented this dress for Vegas because the sequins and pattern would be so much fun. Unfortunately, the dress wasn't very comfortable and flattering. It bunched in the mid-section and was too loose in the hips. Also, even for trying it on, my arms were getting scratched by the sequins. Still a cute dress but just not for me. I went with another dress instead!

I rented this dress after reading the reviews. However, I did not wear it. The one shoulder is strangely too big, so it wouldn't stay in place. I could have used fashion tape but that wasn't the only problem. I found it very unflattering. It's a shame because it was a very pretty dress.

I rented this dress as a back up and regretfully did not get a chance to wear it . The dress is very flattering and comfortable. I rented this for a formal cocktail party and it was perfect in that the sheen that comes off of the dress is really glamorous and dramatic. It was also pretty comfortable. The ruching offers a bit of forgiveness for those of us who are not naturally slender...I have an athletic build and felt pretty comfortable wearing this dress. It is definitely a mini-length! I'm only 5'1" and it was on the short side, but certainly long enough to cover the important parts! Great choice for a formal, evening event!

This was my first rental, and I ADORED it! It's one of those dresses that make you gasp when you first open the package. I'm 5'7'', 120 lbs and wore a small, which actually gave me a bit of breathing space since the material is slightly stretchy. Other reviewers said that the dress itched around the underarm, but it didn't for me because I have a small bust. Also, I was worried that the dress wouldn't cover my behind, but it all worked out. This dress definitely made me feel like a celebrity.

I rented this dress for a girls trip to Vegas and it was perfect for that. Much cuter in person too I think. I normally wear about a 4 and the small fit great. The only downfall of this dress is it HURT!! I asked the stylist before I rented it because I've had other sequin dresses that were less than comfy. She said I'd be fine. I couldn't put my arms down after the first half hour in the dress and then next day at the pool I noticed I actually and scratches and little cuts on my thighs were the dress hit. If you can handle the pain... it's a great dress.

Beautiful dress. The XS looked small through the hips when I took it out of the box, but the fabric is stretchy and it fit perfectly. It was also a very comfortable dress for dancing. I am 4'11" and the hem hit 2-3 inches above my knee. Loved it!
