This would have been the best LBD if I had a smaller chest. It was the perfect length and I loved the fabric, which was thick and forgiving to any flaws. Unfortunately, the top doesn't allow for much in the chest department. I thought I could get away with it because I'm only a C cup, but it was definitely tight. Not too tight that I couldn't wear it, though! All in all, a good rental, but probably wouldn't rent again.

This dress is beautifully made and the fabric is rich and textured. The fitted top and full skirt makes this a great fit for body types like mine (with a smaller top-half, larger bottom-half). I typically wear a size 2 in tops but size 4 pants/skirts, so I am very comfortable in this fit. The one thing I will note is that the dress is very tight in the bust. Even though I am pretty small in this area, the dress had a slightly odd compression effect across the bust.... the waist and straps fit perfectly, but I can't imagine the darts in the bust area would be sufficient for anyone much above an A-cup.

Wore this dress to a company party--fits snug under the bust so I sized up to the size 40. Can be dressed up for a formal affair, or down for a night out. Would recommend for anyone with a pear shape, petite, or hourglass. Really great option! Could also easily be paired with tights and shoes for winter!

I wore this for a fancy dinner to celebrate my 21st birthday and I absolutely LOVED it. I would definitely recommend it for girls who are a similar size to me- I thought the length was just right, and the top flattered my small chest (something that doesn't happen for me too often). The only con I can even think of is that the fabric doesn't have a lot of give and was mildly constricting at times. Wish I didn't have to return it!

It didn't fit me the best in the bust area, but i just used some fashion tape to make sure no one could see my bra. Other than that the dress fit great! It was so comfortable and I got lots of compliments on it. And it has POCKETS!

I was the maid of honor in a wedding, and the bride requested that we wear black dresses with red shoes. I tried on several options at the RTR showroom (definitely recommend a visit!) The ceremony was outdoors in November so I was aiming to find something with long sleeves. I was surprised (and thrilled!) to like this the best. Though it's obviously sleeveless, the fabric is beautiful and thick which makes it more appropriate for fall (we also lucked out with unseasonably warm weather that day!) The dress is slightly shiny and the pattern is gorgeous -- a fun, surprising change from a plain old LBD. My only complaint is how much the skirt flares out. Because the fabric is so thick, that flare will not be tamed. And it's pretty short so be careful on the dance floor!

I wore this to a wedding rehearsal dinner in Napa and couldn't have been more pleased. It was short, but since it belled out and wasn't tight it didn't feel that way at all. Super comfortable, and I loved the exposed zipper on the back. You can never go wrong wearing a LBD, but the print and different fabrics made this extra fun and flirty.

I ordered an 8 since that usually fits best for my pear shape but the bodice was way to big for me. I pinned it on both sides to make it fit and it worked great. I probably would have done better with a size 42 or 40. But I still loved it!

This dress was a great fit, however I agree with other reviews that state the bust is a bit restricting if you're over a B-cup. The size 42/6 wasn't available, or I would have rented as my back up - though I think that it would have ended up being too large in the waist. It's a perfect weight material for fall, and the pattern is more beautiful in person.

The full skirt and fitted bust really makes this dress fun and unique. It is very fitted in the chest so sizing up for any bust size larger than a B is key. The detail is amazing making this the perfect party dress.

I have a small chest, and this was fitted up top, so if you you have a larger bust you will absolutely need to size up. I loved the tight fit because nothing I wear is ever fitted on my small bust, so this was a welcome change . I'm 5'2'' and this dress was shorter than I expected- not so short that it was scandalous, but I probably wouldn't have worn it if it were any shorter. The full skirt and pockets were so fun, and the fabric and pattern give what would be an ordinary black dress a lot of character and interest. The back provides coverage and the wide straps allowed me to wear a regular bra, which I love.

I thought this dress was darling. I rented it as a sweet LBD for a wedding and after reviewing the customer photos picked out statement earrings to go with. THANK GOD I packed a spare dress in my suitcase. Usually a size 8, I rented the 44. It fit perfectly everywhere - except the length. It was too short to go with bare legs and I hadn't packed tights. Didn't even get to wear it and had to send it back. Perhaps the customer photos up until this point included shorter girls, but I wish there had a been a note about the length. Disappointing :(

I rented this dress for a business cocktail and dinner party. The fabric is exquisite and even more beautiful in person. I loved the fact that it had pockets and made it very fun. I am a 34b and the top was a little big so I had to do a little pinning, but everything else fit perfectly including length! I would definitely rent it again and highly recommend!

I'm typically a size 00 -- 32/24/34. The 38 fit perfectly. Although if my chest were larger, the top would have been too tight. It was a really nice thick material, so it kept me warm for the December party I attended. I received many compliments. The design and material was beautiful. The only issue was that it was pretty short and I couldn't bend down to pick anything up if I needed to! However, I'm 5'-6" with long legs.

This was the extra dress we ordered for a 25 dollar fee in one size just in case the first dress choice didn't work out. I read the reviews that said the dress ran large so we ordered the smaller of the usual dress size my daughter normally wears,,,It was still very large..so big that we were happy the first choice worked because this dress was unwearable it was so large. My daughter is usually a size 4. maybe a size 6 if the dress runs small, but this dress just runs large, esp in the waist..Very Pretty though. Not sure what size we got,,nothing on any labels in the dress to check the size

I read from other reviews to size up. I wish I didn't size BOTH my options up. I should have gotten my "true to size" and then one up. I rented a 40 and 42. I could have worn the 38. I have a D size bust - your boobs are definitely a little squished in it (but good cleavage!) and I found that the shoulder area wasn't fitting right even with the size 40 because I have a short torso. Hence, why I wish I had the 38 as an option. I wore the dress to a party in the winter with black tights and ankle booties. Really cute! Easy to move around in, you don't have to wear any special undergarments with it and I paired with the Erickson Beamon Bejeweled Envy necklace from RTR that was perfect. Fabric is even more amazing in person, love the exposed silver zipper in the back. Didn't feel self conscious about my not-so-flat stomach in this at all (forgiving in that area) - felt confident and sexy. I definitely recommend it!

I did not like the fit. It is not tight under your chest so I feel it made me look bigger. If you don't like fitted then you will like this. It is very nice fabric and I really wanted to wear it but went with my second choice. I have a larger chest and am short; I had no isssues with the lenght or my chest not fitting.

I was so excited to wear this dress for a wedding, but was extremely disappointed when I received it. The fabric was extremely thick and not what I expected from the picture. Additionally, the waist was huge so overall the fit was very unflattering. I ended up sending this one back.

It did not fit properly on top....The straps were too long and it smashed my boobs like pancakes. It does run true to size, but is probably better for someone with a longer torso and a smaller chest.

Good dress - length is definitely short (I'm short, so this wasn't a big deal for me.) For my waist/height, the fit was perfect, but the cleavage was intense... which, for my husband, looked amazing! I typically have no concerns about that, but some more reserved/conservative ladies might. I don't think I would rent again, but it was good for one night!

Disappointed. Dress ran super small in the chest. Couldn't zip it over my chest. I ordered the 38 & 40 and neither zipped over my chest! The waist was also a little big on even the 38. Great dress, good quality and very cute. Wish I could have worn it. I highly suggest this dress for girls with a small chest.

The fabric is beautiful, but the fit wasn't right for me. The chest is very tight, so I ordered the 6. It showed a lot of cleavage and was tight around the bust, but the waist was too loose, so the dress didn't hang right. It would probably fit best on a straight and narrow body type, but if you have a large chest and small waist, it doesn't work the best because the waist and chest are about the same size.
