I wore the smaller size dress of the two that I ordered. I am generally a size 8, but in this case I wore a 6. I would say the size 6 of this dress was slightly bigger than other size 6 dresses that I've tried, but not by a ton. I was worried that the dress would fall too low on my legs (I'm only about 5'1), but it looked great, especially with heels. The dress was really high quality, super comfortable and perfect for a spring wedding!

My friend ordered the same dress by accident, but we both loved it!

It fit well, but was a little baggy on the stomach area and lower back. It was very comfortable and I enjoyed wearing this dress for a Kentucky Derby party and parties at night. I received a countless number of compliments on how I looked in the dress. Perfect choice!

I planned my best friends graduation party, and this was the perfect hostess dress. We were on a small boat in Newport Beach, and the dress was perfect for the California May weather but the fabric was warm enough to keep out the ocean breeze. It was very comfortable as I was running around getting everything ready, but it was bright and fun and perfect for the occasion. The structure of the dress allows it to be very flattering, and it was the perfect length that I wasn't worried about bending over or anything. Always trust Lilly for a party dress!

The dress has built in shaping which makes it very flattering around the chest and waist!! Not frumpy at all like many other LP dresses.

I did not end up wearing this dress and returned it for a different dress because it ran small and was extremely unflattering. It looked so cute online so I was disappointed. The fabric is also a lot thicker than you would think and the neckline is cut very high. It was just awkward. It was a bummer but it happens!

I rented this dress for my sorority recruitment and it was amazing! Definitely runs a little big and I had to belt it because there's not much shape to it, but the color is so vibrant and the ruffles are amazing. I ordered this dress in 8 and 10 for a 4th of July wedding. Unfortunately, both sizes were too small in hips and HUGE in chest. I would have had to have been a DD to fill the top of that dress out and my Bcups just didn't cut it for the dress. Could be a great dress if you are well endowed up top. Also, the dress is lined and felt very heavy, beware if you're wearing to an outdoor summer wedding as it may be too warm. Still loved the dress, thought it cute for the bigger busted.

I had a 2 and a 4 shipped to me, and the 2 proved to be way too big. On the model, this dress looks slim at the waist, but it is really more of a shift. I had to wear a belt because there was so much extra fabric around the middle.

I rented this dress for a steeplechase horserace. Wore it with a cute floppy hat and it was perfect! The design of the dress is very sophisticated, but watch out, it does run large. I've known Lilly Pulitzer's dresses to run large regardless, but this has a straight fit through the waist, so you don't want it too big or it will gape. I normally wear a 4 or 6, but probably should have worn a 0 or 2 in this one. Still such a preppy well done dress that it didn't look baggy or sloppy even if big. I got lots of compliments and it was easy to walk around the track in all day. Comfortable material and supportive top with the one shoulder.

Amazingly cute dress, but runs big. Received a size 0 and 2, the 0 appeared to be more like a 2 or 3 and the 2 appeared to be somewhere between a 4 and a 6. Luckily, was able to belt it and add a few pins to make it fit.
