Great fit overall. Didn't get the best pictures to show but it was an incredibly flattering dress.  I'm only 5' so it was a bit long which was perfect for a work party.  

This was such a cute dress! The fit was comfortable and flattering. The color was bright and cheerful! I would definitely rent this dress again. My only complaint is that it has obviously been rented many times and is a bit worn due to use. 

The dress does not stretch and would recommend to size up. It was tight in the chest & I didn't zip it up. 

I would rent in size 4. 

I loved the style of the dress - super fun for the red white and blue party I went to. I felt like the bottom was really large and puffed out quite a bit but if you are comfortable with that its a great dress.

This definitely ran a little snug, but the 8 left me plenty of room. The length was great and I loved the neckline. It is definitely a thick dress with the lace and lining.

A little bit tight in the rib cage, but overall fit really well. (I'm using my sister's account, so my measurements run more like 5'7", 145 lbs, 34B, slightly pear-shaped). Dress it up with gold accessories and it's perfect for an Indian Wedding! The dress is pretty heavy, so it's hot for an outdoor event. 

I wore this dress to my final Junior League meeting of the year. The red was really eye-catching as was the material. However, I found this dress to run very small. I'm typically a size 8 and had difficulty sitting in the size 10. It was tight right in the stomach area where you need a little slack after a meal. As such, I could have easily worn a 12. It was also a tad short on someone tall like me (I'm 5'10").

I wore this to a first birthday party and the length was very appropriate for the event. It was bright and eye-catching. The actual color is a red-orange but could photograph red depending on the lighting. It runs a bit smaller than I expected but I rented both the size 0 and size 2 and went with the larger size. 
Cons: Armpit fat could squeeze out if not careful. 
It came with a very strong smell-  it wasn't bad but kind of smelled like a spicy candle. 

The dress fit fine but was a bit tight in the bust (I wear 34DD) and was tight in the rib cage area when I sat down. Overall I liked the swingy-ness of the dress and color and lace detail, but it was heavy like lots of other reviewers said, but didn't feel heavy once I had it on. I wore this to a wedding on a ranch on a hot day but it felt fine! 

Fit was a little tight in the rib cage and dress weight was a little heavy, but gorgeous dress and I got a lot of compliments. I felt very pretty. 

I went with the larger size because it is very tight and has no give around the waist. However, once it was on it was comfortable and didn't bother me. The material felt expensive and the cut was beautiful. I got lots of compliments.

The fabric was a little heavy, which was fine since I wore it in December for a Christmas party. Other than that I loved it. 

Perfect for a fall/winter event as the gorgeous lace overlay is heavy. The top of this dress fit like a glove without being overly tight and the flare skirt was so pretty and allowed my daughter free movement without having to worry about tugging down a short fitted skirt. The length was a bit longer than we'd expected, but nothing a little hemming tape and a few stitches didn't fix. Loved the bright red!

Really loved this dress! Beautiful color and good fit. It does have a weird little bunch in the front because of how it's cut but I don't think it's very noticeable. The skirt hit my just above the knee so if you're on the shorter end, it may be too long. All in all it was a beautiful dress. Who couldn't love a Kate Spade?? 

I got this with my unlimited membership when I didn't have any other formal events and I ended up wearing it for work. The color its beautiful and the fabric is very thick. I liked it a lot and I would rent it again! I wore a size 2. 

I normally wear size 4, and always get the size 6 as a back up. Still the size 6 was a little too tight... Fabric is a little too heavy. Other than that, the dress was ok. 

I rented this for a vacation in New Orleans - I actually kept this for eight days and wore it twice on our week vacation. Once for a jazz brunch at Arnaud's and the other for a classy lunch at Commander's Palace. I wore it with nice sandals and I felt comfortable walking for hours in this. After brunch we even went to a museum and I wore it the entire time; the next time I wore it for a 2.5 hour walking cocktail tour and felt great. My only problem is under the arms is a little tight and there's no give in the fabric. The skirt is bouncy, yet a heavy fabric which felt luxurious. 

This dress was fantastic. It was comfortable, made of great material, and made me feel amazing! I actually received this as a back-up because my original dress just didn't seem to fit properly, but I was so pleased with this one. (Plus, RTR overnighted it to my hotel on a Saturday!) I would really suggest going up a size for those with a larger bust (like me), the fabric in the bust has no stretch at all. But, overall, it's a great style and color that had me feeling beautiful and confident!

Worn this to a graduation ceremony.  Only thing to be aware of is the dress is heavy.  There are a few layers to the dress and wish they could be removable.  
Probably not the best option for beginning of summer in Atlanta.  Regardless dress was perfect for the event and the red color wasn't too bright.

I was very happy I ordered the back-up size of a 2!  It fit much more comfortably than the 0.

Loved this dress! I wore it to a bridal shower and got many compliments on it. The fit was great and was comfortable to wear. For the shorter ladies like me, this dress will hit right at your knees (I was worried it would be too long for me). This dress is heavier than expected because it is well crafted, but again, comfortable to wear. 

Pros: love the texture, color is bold

Cons: Dress is heavy, runs small

Overall, really liked the dress. It was pretty thick material for a summer wedding, I was definitely sweating a bit when I went outside. The fit was a little weird, it was really tight around my ribs - but that's typical for dresses for me, so it wasn't something that I think would be the case for everyone!

This dress is okay in person, though it photographs beautifully (and better than you'd ever think on the hanger). It is a thick crochet, and with the silhouette, feels like it could be from the 50s. I did get quite a few compliments, but it's not my favorite, and is a little bulky from that heavy material. Unfortunately, the material also holds the dry cleaning chemical smell, so it needed a day to air out before wearing. The fit is consistent to other Kate Spade styles-- true to size, but no stretch, so if your weight is up a little bit, you may have an issue. Overall, a really good dress, just not my favorite. 

Wore this for my graduation. Tons of compliments on the color! The fabric is double layered so it's very thick--I would probably have been hot outside. I belted it but it looked cute without a belt too! You can tell this dress has been worn a bunch because the overlay is a slightly faded shade of red compared to the under layer, but it's not noticeable to the untrained eye and the dress is still in good shape.

This dress runs true to size, I chose to wear the larger of the two so I could move around easier. I wore this to my daughters carnival themed 1st birthday. I would say though that it is obvious this dress has been worn many many times and the crocheted material is not in the best condition anymore. It is a gorgeous dress though. Felt pretty and special. 

Paired with a cute statement necklace and some wedges, this dress is perfect for any wedding. I ordered the 4 and the 6, thinking I was going to be closer to a 6 but the 4 fit me perfectly. I would recommend this dress for anyone pear shaped or petite, as the top is snug (but not too much!). I loved dancing in it and was very comfortable in Michigan in July. The only "con" would be that the material is kind of heavy. LOVED THIS DRESS.

While the lining was form fitting, the top layer of lace was sagging a bit above the waist. Other than that, the color was very pretty and the fabric had a nice weight to it. 

I wore this to a NYE party. This dress has a lot of material; definitely not a summer dress. The dress also felt too long. 

I wore this for a birthday date. My husband took me out to dinner and to see a show. I paired the dress with a denim jacket to dress it down for a Sunday matinee but the Kate Spade pearl necklace and earrings (also from RTR!) still made the outfit classic. I felt that the 8 was just a little too snug under the bust but the 10 was a little too loose in the shoulders, just not enough to bother me. I wore the 10 because I wanted to be comfortable. 

Fit a little small and could have worn the smaller size, but the smaller one didn't have a hook at the top (it had fallen off). The larger size was a little big but had a hook and thank god I wore that one. This dress is a gorgeous cut and color, loved it, but it's clearly been worn too many times and the zipper no longer locks. I was pulling up the zipper every couple minutes all night long. So embarrassing. 

I wore this dress to my husband's dissertation defense and out to celebratory dinner afterwards. I loved this dress. It was very comfortable and the lace was pretty. I especially loved pairing it with the Kate Spade pearl necklace. I was between the 4 and the 6, but ended up wearing the 6 because it was a little more comfortable in the arms. The 4 would have probably fit my chest better, though. Loved it!

Fit was good but snug in the chest. Length was fine and I'm 5'1. Overall a cute dress and I got lots of compliments. 

The bodice is very true to size and without any stretch. I tried to wear the size 8 (I fluctuate between 6-10 depending on the dress) mostly because the zipper worked and it had a functional back clasp. But the top was too tight and I could see where my chest was smushing out of my bra, haha and it felt too tight in the shoulders. So we went with the 10 and "macguyvered" the back with safety pins - the zipper is such that it doesn't stay up on it's own.  
The overlay is pretty thick and bulky - I think it would be very heavy in the summer, but for this winter wedding/valentine's day party, it was perfect.  But because I'm curvy, I felt the skirt was a little bulkier than I would've liked. The waist was nice but felt it wasn't as complimentary given the structure of the dress.
Overall, I liked it a lot and received a lot of compliments! Am also noticing a trend in ordering dresses that have a lot of reviews/photos to ponder, is that none of the zippers work :/  

I really wanted to love this dress, but the four was too small, the six fit, but was REALLY tight around the waist. Call customer support to have them send me a bigger size but it was too big and had a stain all over the top. Squeezed myself into the six and it was fine. Put a belt over the waist line to just jazz it up a bit. It just dug into me the whole time. It was also a little long but I don't like to wear heels. I'm sure it would have looked better with heels on. 

The size 2 fit perfectly! The lace on this dress was a little bit worn, but you could only really see that up close.  Love the color, really stood out!  I'm smaller on top and bigger on the bottom so the 2 fit perfectly, but if you have a slightly bigger chest it may be best to go up a size!


The fit was beautiful. When the dress game I was very excited about, until I opened it up. It was orange, not red!! I was so bummed as I needed to wear red for the event. Also, the dresses felt old and really worn, which was also a bummer. Even though I love Kate Spade and the dress was still cute, it was not as described. So I ended up having to send it back. 

I loved this dress! The only con is I wish it had pockets. It was comfortable and classic. Loved it
