I ordered this dress as my 'backup' and loved it more than my original choice. The fabric is so soft it made it comfortable to wear for several hours at a networking cocktail and dinner event in NYC. I was hesitant to wear black in spring but adding a pop of color with my shoes made it OK. While this dress does not reveal anything, it is a flattering fit for a curvy figure- which is always a plus! I really enjoyed this dress and will consider renting it again in the future!

The fit would be nice for a girl that has a narrower body. My hips are much fuller than my waist so they were obvious through the dress, which isn't always flattering. Luckily the dress is black so it hides a lot. It's very thick, high quality material. The 6 fit but the 8 was less clingy.

This dress was gorgeous. I ended up picking the smaller size and pairing it with the Kenneth Jay Lane coral earrings for a rehearsal dinner. The material is almost wetsuit like, so could be a little hot.

I am completely obsessed with this dress, and really wish that I could buy it after this weekend. It's pretty simple, but the material is stretchy and somewhat thick at the same time. It really complemented my body because it was tight through the chest, and then flaired out. I'm hitting up the RTR sample sale just to see if I can find anything remotely close that I can keep forever.I wore it with my favorite statement necklace from BaubleBar and royal blue pumps. The awesome thing about this dress is it could really be dressed up or down based on how you accessorize it.

Loved this look. The material is really wonderful with a bit of stretch. It fit like a glove! My dress actually still had the tag on it when I received it! I wore my usual size 6 but I would recommend sizing up for backup. It is great for someone who doesn't want a dress to be fitted in the hips. The swing skirt was so fun and flirty. I paired it with the Bea Necklace for some color. I wish I could own this LBD! Perfect for so many occasions!

It is a little short, but not TOO short. It was still appropriate for me to wear to speak at an event. Super cute with opaque tights too, if it s cold. I do recommend wearing with a belt!

Nips in perfectly at the waist - a little short and I've got longer legs so you'll definitely want some good tights to go with it. I wore it with some bright red lipstick, big black earrings and a fun ponytail. Really felt fun and pretty in the dress.

I wore this dress to a daytime retirement party. The fit was so fun and flirty! The fabric is stretchy and it fits true to size. I received compliments all day and was extremely comfortable. I had originally wanted to wear nude pumps with bare legs, but it was too cold, so I decided to wear black pumps and stockings. I paired the dress with a coral necklace and stud earrings to add some color. The only negative I would say about the dress is I have a larger bust and the neck did stretch down a little more than I wanted. It looked like a higher neckline in the model picture. Also, I'm very petite and I think the flare skirt was a little overwhelming for my small frame. I think I will rent a dress next time that is more fitted in the hips to give me some shape.

Thanks to all the reviews, I ordered my normal size (2) and a size down (0). The 0 fit, but was a little tight around my underarms. The 2 fit perfectly! It hugged me in all the right places. The fabric was heavier than I expected, but I liked it because I wore the dress on a chilly night. I was worried it would be super short because of my long legs, but it hit right about mid-thigh. I was very very happy with this dress! I wore it to a rehearsal dinner and got compliments all night!

I rented this dress for a local Opera with my mother and boyfriend and it was perfect for the occasion: classy with a hint of sexy. It is short, which I was fine with, but not too short to cause an issue (I'm 5'8 3/4"). Thick and flowy material. Very stretchy. I was able to wear the 6 but as other reviewers said, it bunched up weirdly in the back. Most importantly, I am long-waisted so the accents to the waist of the size 6 dress just did not lay right on my torso. Depending on your body type slimming garments may be needed. It is very slim-fitting in the torso. Loved the flare of the skirt at the waist. Overall great quality dress. Perfect for more conservative occasions.

I rented this for my Office Christmas Party. It was perfect for the evening. I loved the fabric, it was thick and had a lot of stretch to it. I rented both the 6 and the 8 and wore the 6. The 8 also would have worked, it was a little longer. The cut of the dress was very flattering and the shape made it fun. I also loved the exposed zipper. I definitely recommend renting this dress, I think it would work for almost any event.

Let me start of by saying I LOVE HH dresses! This is the 2nd HH dress that I've rented and I'm officially a fan. I wore this to my company Holiday Party and it was perfect for the occasion. I rented it in a size 8 and I found it to be true to size. My only complaint, the dress was a little long. I'm 5"7 and with 4inch heels it still went all the way to my knee. Sizing down may have done the trick, to reduce the length. Overall, great dress and super comfy material:)

Oh, how much do I love this dress? Let me count the ways.... 1. Perfectly appropriate: I wore this to my children's school fundraiser, so wanted something tasteful and appropriate - i.e. no backless dresses showing off the tattoos from my teens and 20s. :) This fit the bill nicely and really worked beautifully with the necklace suggested by RTR as the big accessory. 2. Fun skirt: the skirt portion of the dress flared out beautifully while dancing, which is, I am sure we can all agree, pretty awesome. Especially if you've got in insane heels that make your legs look awesome. 3. Vintagey look without making it look like I rented something at a costume store: that pretty much sums it up, but this was very Hepburn meets modern. 4. Ridiculously comfortable: Did not have to wear one bit of spanx, suck-em-in underthings, or similar. Just regular underclothing. The fabric is thick and slightly stretchy, which made everything look smooth where it typically would not and was really very comfortable to dance in. Sigh. Wish I could buy this, it would be such a LBD closet staple. Love you, my friend...and miss you.

It was a little bit big on me but RTR didn't have my usual size (a size 2). It was so comfortable the material is stretchy without looking cheap and the length was modest on me. I paired it with a vintage copper Renoir belt to cinch my waist a bit more but you can't really go wrong with a nice black dress!

When I go to weddings, I want to be comfortable..because I like to dance! This dress was perfect for a winter wedding. I wore black tights and a super high heel. It is a bit short if you are tall, so you may need to wear tights. I also dressed it up with a bib necklace and some sassy earrings. I love the waist line and the zipper detail! I got compliments all night and I think I also complimented my husband in his tux! I highly recommend this one - if I owned it. I am sure I would wear it all the time. Just change out the jewelry, bag and shoes - and you have a whole new outfit!

I am between a 6 and an 8 and i wish i had ordered a 6-- the 8 fit fine but the fabric is stretchy and i think is better if it is super fitted. I would definitely recommend this dress i think it would be flattering on many body types but is a fun dress to show of your legs :)

This dress was absolutely amazing! I wish I didn't have to return it! I ordered the 0 and 2 and ended up wearing the two. The fuller skirt flared out right below my waist, and the dress does run slim through the waist so it was a little snug. The material of this dress is a little heavier making it perfect for fall cooler weather.
