I rented this dress for my bridal shower on 07/21/2012. I got an 8 and a 10 because I am a 32G chest but I wear a size 4 pants so I'm uneven lol. Anyway, the name of this dress is a fact. It's EXTREMELY delicate. The size 8 that I had had a hole above the zipper and was a little snug (but only in the bust! Curse these boobs!) but the 10 was a cape. In order for this dress to look good, it needs to be fitted to your body so I had no choice but to wear the smaller size. Everyone LOVED my dress. They were raving about how gorgeous it was and honestly, I couldn't have picked a better dress to wear. It was absolutely amazing. This dress has NO give to it. It doesn't stretch and you MUST be careful with it. I have to stress that!

Absolutely loved this dress!!!! It was very delicate and girly. I felt so feminine and pretty in this dress. Perfect for an event or party where you want to feel like a lady. A lot of detail, looks good in pictures but better in person. Also loved the flowy bottom. I would definitely recommend this dress.

This beautifully made dress was perfect for the occasion...an award ceremony for 15 consecutive years of dance. The shimmer was perfect for the stage. She looked lovely and elegant. So pretty. She received so many complements. Her sister liked the dress so much that she tried on the other size. I snapped a couple of pictures which hope to post just to show the dress on a couple of different body types. One caveat...my daughter is about 5' 1" and the dress was a little long for her liking.

I rented the 4 with the 2 for backup; both would have worked, but the 4 felt more comfortable (a bit more room at the waist). Overall, the dress worked out, but I did think it looked better on the hanger than on me. The cut of the waist was not quite empire, but not quite the normal spot, so it hit at a weird place for me. Also, the cut at the shoulders was a bit broader/wider than I'd have liked. However, on the plus side, I loved the material. Just the right amount of shine to make it a little dressier than a casual sundress or party dress.

Really loved this dress online and was disappointed when it didn't fit me well. It's really a nice dress, it was just a bit tight on top and didn't have much give, which didn't work for my figure. I also found that the dress ran a bit small, as I usually wear a 2 and the 4 fit better, but again, I think that mostly had to do with the top being a bit tight on me.

There is a perfect subtle glimmer to the lace material. Came to about mid thigh which made it fun and flirty. Fits true to size. It was not skin tight in the bust area and the skirt flares out a little. Such a fun dress...got so many compliments from the other couples getting married :)

The dress fit perfectly! I wore it with some black heels. I really liked how it covered my upper chest and back so I was able to wear a bra. I would wear a nude bra and panties because the dress is very sheer. It is more beige/nude than in the picture and has more silver. Very darling! I rented this dress with the intention of wearing it to my engagement party. The dress color is pretty, but the material was really thin and felt cheap once I put it on. I ended up wearing the back-up dress I had ordered. For an expensive dress, this one didn't seem worth the money. Happy that RTR encourages back-up dresses!

I thought this would be a fun sparkly dress for a simple NYE. Overall, I didn't like the look of the dress... Rather it seemed like something a teen would buy from Forever 21 for NYE. Kind of cheap looking. Also, the bust was a major problem for me. If I sized up, perhaps my bust wouldn't have looked like it was pushed flat.

I wore this dress to my rehearsal dinner, and it was EXACTLY what I wanted. It has a touch of shimmer to make it look really special and formal. The silvery/champagne color made it perfect for a wedding even without it being a traditional white or cream color. It does run large, so size down. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

First of all, I ended up loving this dress but it did not fit me as I originally expected. The top part felt a bit boxier than how it is pictured on the model. I wore it for my bachelorette party, and it was a little chilly that night, so I paired it with a small vintage blazer I own with gold buttons and some dark teal pumps. It ended up being an awesome ensemble, and I have been looking for a dress like it to purchase ever since to recreate the outfit!

RTR really needs to be more careful about their filters. I used "wedding" and this dress came up. I was afraid of it seeming too wedding dress like, but it appeared gold in the photo so figured it would be ok since it came up under the "Weddings" filter. Alas, I was disappointed upon receipt and ended up returning the entire rental. Perhaps create a separate catergory "Bride/Bridal Party"?

The fit was true to what I expected, no surprises there. Online, the dress looked much more silvery and the cappuccino color didn't seem so prominent. In person, the metallic tone was more subtle and the nude/cappuccino color was much more obvious. The dress wasn't the most comfortable, but I wasn't ever truly uncomfortable in it, which was a huge plus as I wore it for 6 or more hours. I got a lot of complements since this dress is gorgeous but quite unique. I felt very floaty and serene, almost ethereal in this dress. What was really important to me in this dress was the length. I'm very tall for a girl (5'10) and so I usually get worried about dress being much too short, sometimes spending the whole night pulling down the back. with this dress, I didn't have to worry at all. It was short enough to be a little sexy and cute, but I never once worried about it flying up or flashing anyone.

The dress fit great from top to bottom. I always look for a dress not fitted in the hips and this was perfect for that. The only downfall is that it just seems like a delicate dress and I was wearing it to a fraternity formal and just feared it would get snagged or spilled on. Would be perfect for a more tame occasion.I have big boobs and it fit very comfortably so it will definitely accommodate boobies.

I had rented this dress for my college graduation/ graduation party along with the rebecca taylor blue smoke tiered dress (also on rent the runway) I had intended this girl to be THE dress and the rebecca taylor as the back up. But once i tried it on, i knew there was no way it would work out. I am a pretty tiny girl, and this dress flew below my knee and the chest area was too big even though i rented the smallest size possible. Overall it was just baggy in all the wrong places.

This dress is very lightweight and comfortable. The band around the waist was a bit loose on me, but it did not really change the way the dress looked. I'm 5'5" and the dress was a little longer on me than the model. If I had the right occassion, I would rent this dress again.
