I wore this dress for a night out in Vegas, and it was perfect. Long enough on me (I'm 5'11") that it hit above my knee but not super short. Loved the shoulder detail that made it pop -- otherwise, it's a pretty simple black dress. I wear a large 8 and generally wear a 10 in designer dresses and this fit like a glove. I'm very tall and an hourglass shape-ish. I'd say you could wear this to a fun office party, date night, etc. It's not super formal but very flattering. Very comfortable, a little bit of stretch. I wore it with booties since I had to walk a lot and it looked great. *2nd time review: Ordered it again as a safety net for a red carpet event with http://www.redrover.co and a Before Midnight screening with Ethan Hawke. Lost some weight so I actually went down to a size 8. Still a great dress, should probably buy it now that I've worn it twice.

This dress ran pretty true to size, and was a great length for my 5'8" frame. It was definitely form-fitting in the size 10, and I wore spanx to help it lay nicely through the waist and hips. Definitely recommend this dress for a great night out!

This dress was beautiful and I received lots of comments. The fabric is stretchy, so it gives us girls with hips and a booty some room. The dress fit loosely in my waist area, and fit nicely around my hips, but not snug! The CON: This dress must have been worn 100 times, because I received the dress with a hole on the side. I sewed it up on my own. When worn on the cruise during dinner, I noticed an additional hole on the other side of the dress. (in the stitching, not the fabric) this was the only downside to my experience. I ended up wiggling out of this dress and putting on something else a lot sooner in the evening than I wanted to.

I rented this dress for my cousin's January wedding. When I first received the dress I loved the overall fit but was concerned that it was a little too simple. I decided pair the dress with a fun up-do and red lips to pull it all together. I received a ton of compliments on the dress, felt great, and most importantly was able to celebrate and dance all night. I would definitely rent this dress again!

I wore this to a company holiday party and got lots of compliments. The length was great even though I'm tall. It's fitted but flattering. I did feel like as the night went on, the sequins along the neckline and sleeves became uncomfortable. Overall, really pretty and I recommend it!

I wore this dress for a work celebratory dinner. It was a big hit! I got multiple compliments from both men and women on the dress which is understated but has just the right amount of sass with the sequins. I paired it with a great statement necklace and nude heels. I liked that the dress wasn't too short but showed off your curves and just the right amount of leg. It was age appropriate and still sexy. Would recommend!

I needed a dress for a black-tie affair with buttoned-up work colleagues, and this fit the bill perfectly. The material had a good amount of stretch to it and was a nice, thick weight. I felt I was kind of between sizes: Even the 10 had plenty of room in the bust -- I'm a 36DDD and was not squished in -- and plenty of room in the hips. Actually, I wish it were cut a bit straighter for my body shape, but this would be great for pears or hourglasses. In fact, the 10 probably fit better and would have been very flattering and a bit sexy, but I sized up to a 12 to avoid cling for the conservative function I was attending. My only complaint was that the skirt rode up when I sat down higher than I was totally comfortable with. Also, FWIW, the sequins are a bit of an odd color. Maybe an antique gold?

If you have a larger rib cage and small chest like I do you would probably want a larger size. It is also longer than I expected. I goes to right above the knee. Would have liked if it was a little shorter.

I loved this dress. I felt sexy and confident all night, without the dress being too short or too tight. I rented the 2 and the 4 and chose to wear the 2 - it was a little more form-fitting than the 4, making it a better choice for going out in! I wore heels for the first part of the evening and switched to flats later. Both worked with the dress. With the sparkly sleeves, I decided not to wear big earrings, and went with diamond studs.

This was a great choice for the New Year's Eve party I went to. It's super comfortable, and the sleeves add some subtle bling - for those of us not willing to be utterly donned in sequins. The only issue I had with it was that it tended to stick to my black stockings (it's jersey). I found myself pulling down on it throughout the night to be sure it wasn't riding up. Had I left it alone, I think it would've stayed put - but I just wanted to be sure. Overall, a great pick!

This dress needs to be retired. I received my dress with several large (quarter sized) holes running down the seam on the right side. When I examined the seam running down the left side of the bodice, it was evident that many similar holes had been previously patched up. Either renters have tried to squeeze into a side that didn't fit them properly or, more likely, this dress just isn't sturdy enough in quality to stand up to the number of wears. RTR was helpful in refunding me for an unwearable item, but unfortunately I had to do the last minute, frantic hunt for a new dress the day before.

I wore this to a New Years Eve party and got tons of compliments. It was just the right amount of sparkle while still looking timeless. However, this is the first time I've ever had to use the size up that I ordered. I ALWAYS wear a 2, but this was just too unflattering in my stomach and booty areas. The size 4 fit much better.

The dress is form fitting, but not too tight. Very flattering fit. It's on the short side, but I didn't end up wearing tights and was comfortable (I'm 5' 10"). Really loved it and was perfect for my holiday party!! Would definitely recommend it to others!

This dress must run big or ive lost weight. I usually wear a 2 but the zero fit great, except there was too much fabric at the hips. If the cut was more straight it would have been perfect. It was a beautiful dress, and i will save it to my favorites- i would definately wear it again.

This was a super cute dress - pretty, chic with just enough sparkle for me. It was a little large (I normally wear a 10/12 and the 8 was just a touch too big) but I made it work. I would suggest going a size or two down, especially since this dress has quite a bit of stretch.
