This dress runs true to size and actually fit as a strapless on my chest (34DD). It was a bit long, I was in flats and should probably have opted for heels, but it was a minor issue. 

Fit was true to size. I am pretty tall, but I could still get away with 2 inch heels under this dress in a regular length. I ordered a 6 long and an 8 regular and ended up going with the 8 regular, the 6 was a bit tight for me. I didn't use the belt, but only because it didn't match the necklace I chose. If I wasn't wearing that necklace I definitely would have worn it because it's so cute! I wore it for a high school pageant-type event.

Definitely runs small and long. I'm 5'5" and the petite length was good with heels. No heels could have made the regular length work! This was my first choice, but when I initially tried it on, it felt too snug and unforgiving at the waist (I've had 2 kids), so I wore my friend's first choice and she wore this. However, at the end of the night, we swapped back, and the dress fit great. Either way, we both liked it and despite very different body types, it worked well on both of us!

I thought the dress was beautiful. I rented it for my holiday party for work. I rented the long because I knew I had huge shoes to go with it. I should have worn a bra to help out a little bit more but it definitely had enough coverage for the entire night. I didn't have to pull it up at all. Overall I thought it was a great dress. 

Absolutely beautiful dress. My original choice was ruined by the last renter (#stressful) so I had to pick a new one! This dress arrived the morning of my event. I was originally anti wearing strapless but this fit so well I didn't have to pull it up ONCE. Flowed beautifully and kicked out perfectly when you walk. This is completely different than what I thought I'd wear to the military ball, but it ended up being awesome.

I loved the color on this dress and how beautifully it flowed. Unfortunately, the R length was not available and the L was far too long. If you have 5" heels to wear, it will be fine, but mine were only about 3.5" so I had to wear another option. The picture shown is without any shoes. The belt adds a nice touch and defines the waist nicely. Definitely recommend this one.

It fit perfect for me but a little tight on my boobs so if you have a size D or bigger id go up a size!

Fit like a glove on top, well structured so I didn't need to wear a bra. Great color, danced in it all night. 

Dress was a little tight around the ribs but I have a low waist so maybe should have done a 4 even though I am a true 2. I got so many compliments and felt beautiful in it. Make sure you have a steamer because it was wrinkled out of the box. I wore a regular with 4 inch heels and it was the perfect length for me at 5'4"

I ordered the 6r and 8r of another dress, which was ruined by the previous renter. I was disappointed, but once I received this new dress I was no longer upset. All of my friends agreed that they like this better than the one I previously ordered. They both fit but I went with the 8 for a bit more comfort. The dress is long, but it brushed the ground w heels which you can see in the photo. Color pops more in real life. Belt did come included. 

This dress fit beautifully and had a flowy and classy feel.  Hides any tummy imperfections and there is no need for spanx! I definitely recommend it for a formal occasion!

This dress was perfect for the wedding black-tie optional wedding we attended. It fit perfectly and the length was just right with kitten heals. Unlike other reviewers, the belt did come with the dress and pulled the whole outfit together nicely. I typically need longer dresses, but after reading other reviews I went with the regular length which ended up being great, any longer and I would have been tripping on it. Overall, great dress and great experience with rent the runway!

I loved this dress for a Napa black tie wedding. It fit well although was a bit long even with 4 inch heels (I'm 5'3"). The color is beautiful and I liked the belt although I do see what other reviewers mean about the jewel beading not being high quality. The exposed zipper at the back was fine except the stitching was loose and the clasp missing so I had to safety pin it closed. Otherwise I thought the dress was beautiful!

I tried to find a dress to match my necklace, and this was perfect! My biggest concern was the length, as I am 5'11", and I chose to wear my boots, which gave me an extra inch. It dragged about 1/2 inch so the length was perfect and it draped beautifully! I ordered both the 8L and 10L; the 8L I could just barely squeeze into, so I went with the 10L so I could feel comfortable (although I did have to wear the "straps" while dancing so the dress didn't fall down) i chose to not wear the belt so I could let my necklace be the focal point. The only con was the boning in the bust of the dress was bent out, so in the middle of the torso it tended to stick out a bit during pictures. Overall, I am very happy with the dress, and would most definitely rent again!

A little right in the top, maybe a bigger size if you have bigger boobs but overall great dress! 

I rented this for a formal wedding. I read the reviews and took note of the length, but I rented a regular, am 5'5" and wore 2.5 inch shoes and it still drug on the ground. I had to hold it up even to walk. That said, the dress itself fit like a charm! And it definitely holds itself up! I didn't need to pull it up at all. 

I loved this dress. The color was great and it stayed where it should all evening at our masked ball! My only complaint is that it is VERY long. I am 5'7" and I wore 3-4" heels and it still dragged a little. Another thing to mention is that there is a lot of fabric so it's quite heavy.

The picture doesn't really do it justice but this dress is absolutely beautiful in person.  The color was perfect and the dress was so comfortable.  This is one of the few strapless dresses I have worn where I didn't have to keep checking myself or pulling up to avoid a wardrobe mishap.  

This dress was AMAZING!! I wore it to my senior prom and it was complimented by everyone there. It was super comfortable and flowy. I added my own belt only because I wanted to accent with silver more so than the black. However the one they provide is beautiful. The chest was just right and did not slip down the whole night like I was expecting it to. I ordered a 2L because the regular was already taken. The regular would have been better because this dress is extremely long. I wore 2 inch heels and the dress still dragged the floor. Other than holding the bottom up while dancing, it was great. I would definitely recommend this dress. Beautiful and light! Loved it!! :)

I love this dress! I rented it last minute for prom and I was originally worried that it wouldn't be formal or dressy enough for a prom but it was perfect, especially with the beautiful belt that it came with and the necklace I rented (Slate & Willow Accessories Dripping Arbor Necklace). The color was great and I loved the flowy-ness of it!! I definitely recommend it! 

Dress was a gorgeous color and fit well. I didn't receive the belt that's shown in the picture so I wore a matching necklace and bracelet to glam it up. It was very long so you must wear tall heals. I'm 5'6 and wore 4 inch heals and it was still long. I received many compliments throughout the night!

I rented this dress for prom.  I'm not usually dressed up and when I said hi to anyone they would literally gasp and say how beautiful I looked! The dress was such a pretty color, and the belt, as repetitive it may sound in the reviews, was definitely a stand-out feature. 
I'm 5'8" but I wore flats to the dance and so the 6R was a perfect length. It was easy to dance in all night and the beautiful, flowy skirt made me look even better! 
I got compliments all night!

The dress was nice, the belt made it a little more glitzy but liked it even without the belt. The teal color was great. Had this sent as an alternate dress which was overnighted to me, because my original choice (Badley Mischka Flora Chiffon Gown) wasn't available in the 10L for overnight. The fit was perfect, would have maybe been able to swing the 8L, but ultimately I was still in love with the green one so I sucked it up, wore my lowest heel, and stuck with the 10R Badley Mischka Flora Chiffon Gown. Would consider renting this again for another event though!

The bust of the dress fit perfectly and I loved the belt, but I'm only 5'3" and even with 4" heels this dress still dragged the floor a bit on me.  

Overall I really liked the dress, it was a little loose around my rib cage and it does NOT come with the belt as shown on the model. I wrapped a black ribbon around the waistline to add detail and hold the dress up. Wore the regular length with a 2 inch kitten heel. Would definitely recommend. 

Fits really well, true to size.  Nice, long length - I am 5'3" and wore it with 5" heels and it barely grazed the floor.  Overall, VERY pleased with this dress and my first experience with Rent the Runway!

The dress fit great, I went with the 2 because it was tighter in the bust and made me feel more comfortable.  The length was great with the 4in heels I wore.  This was a great rental!

When ordering my dress, I was really nervous about getting a strapless one because i'm a size 36DD in the bust area. I ordered a 6 & an 8 considering I've never ordered a dress online before and my jean size is a size six. A little advice, DO NOT ORDER ACCORDING TO YOUR JEAN SIZE. The dress was too small BUT luckily i was able to call the stylists, in which they kindly let me order a size 10 & 12 that was delivered the next morning. I had to order a size 10L because a 10R was not available. Nevertheless, the dress was very beautiful and though it was long, i still had very few issues dancing, only really walking. Even though I wore a size 10 dress, i wore the size 6 belt that came with the other dress. Keep in mind that if you order a bigger dress to fit your bust area, you will probably need a smaller dress belt. 

Wore this to a ROTC formal in March. It's a simple and elegant dress which is great for spring/summer formals. It's fairly conservative, but I still felt very pretty. The belt helped to add visual interest. Size 2 was all rented out, so I got a size 4. I expected it to be a little big, but it was snug with a strapless bra. I had minimal problems with keeping it up all night, even while dancing. I'm 5'9 and rented a regular size, which was the perfect length with flats (my date was a little short). Didn't want to take it off at the end of the night!

The dress fit remarkably well and comfortably. The bodice has really great boning- I almost didn't need to wear a bra (30 F UK sizing)! The color isn't really captured in the photo, but it's gorgeous. 
I didn't receive the belt (unless I missed it somehow??) and I wish I had, but it looked great without it. 
It was long enough in the regular with medium heels.

The fit was pretty good! a little long on me but I am super short (5'0). I had to wear pretty high heels but thats okay! It is extremely comfortable and easy to move and dance in. It's a super flowy soft fabric. I didn't have to pull it up all night which was nice! I really didn't want to send it back it was so beautiful! I had a million compliments on how beautiful I looked and felt like a greek goddess! The color was really beautiful as well! I would highly recommend this dress because it's simple yet elegant! 

LOVED the color of this dress. It does run larger up top, I'm a 34 DDD and the ten fit perfect on my bust but was still kind of loose still in the waist. I got the regular length and it was VERY long. I am between 5'4"  and 5'5" and I wore 4 and a half inch heels to prevent it from dragging! If you're shorter than 5'4" be careful when ordering this. Other than the length, I LOVED this dress! It was super comfortable and beautiful!

Wore this beautiful dress to my 10-year highschool reunion.  I was the bell of the ball if I do say so myself and I received so many compliments all evening.  The color was great for my skin tone.  I often flush and my skin has pink undertones.  I have lost about 7-8lbs since I wore it, so if you are looking at my weight and dress size below to help with sizing I was 5'7", 36"D, and 150lbs when I wore the size 8R, which fit great.  I did not wear the belt.  It was a little tight and I didn't think it added anything to the dress.

Loved this dress! Flowy and very flattering, and the color was absolutely beautiful. The belt was such a great accent too. It fit great - I didn't have to pull the dress up at all the entire night.

This was the dress I ordered as backup, and it was so beautiful! I wanted to wear it instead of my first choice, but the length on the Regular (not the Long!) was way too long for even 4" heels. I was worried I would step on it or someone else would, so I didn't wear it. 

I was on Homecoming Court at my university and wore this dress in front of the entire school during halftime of the game. The dress is a beautiful teal color and goes great with any skin tone. I ordered the regular length because I read reviews that it ran long. I would suggest that girls over 5'9 who plan on wearing heels should order the long but it was pretty much a perfect length for me with about 3" heels. The dress was really flattering for me and was very comfortable to wear for the night! I would highly recommend it. The belt is a cute accessory too :)

Decided to wear the 8 instead of the 6 for comfort, though I'm usually in the middle (8 was best for large bust). The long was perfect for me at 5'11 with 4 inch heals, much longer than expected- great surprise! I've never gotten so many compliments from people I didn't know! Perfect formal wedding outfit. Thanks!
