I loved this dress! It was sooo flattering. I was skeptical because it seemed very simple and I wanted to be more show stopping but it really accentuated my curves. My date loved it! Simple yet sexy.

First rent the runway experience. Rented the dress for a charity event and was super excited when my package arrived! The dress was beautiful loved the lace but I noticed that the lace on the sleeves was a little bit worn and had holes. Will definitely rent again but will look for newer styles (I've seen this dress on RTR for a while)

Sleeves were absolutely gorgeous with the detailing, I loved the darting  at the waist. It was very comfortable, I wore in Mexico and the fabric was very forgiving with the humid weather.

I thought this was going to be just and okay dress but man when you put it on it fits like a glove! My husband loved it- its tame enough to wear to a wedding but my husband thought it was super sexy. Great for petite gals and great for bigger chested ladies :)

The fit was a little tighter than I originally thought, based on other reviews, but I was glad that I sized up for my free back up.  Both dresses fit, but the 8 gave me a little more room in my hips.  I was pleasantly surprised that the fabric was thicker than I imagined.  It can be easily dressed up with some fun heels and jewelry, which is the route I took for my NYE party!  The lace was a gorgeous detail and I really enjoyed wearing the dress.  However, it was a little big in the chest area as I'm a 34B but have a fuller bottom half.  The lace around the arms was not uncomfortable at all, in my opinion.  I was still able to dance the night away, but the lace at the bottom of the dress was a little tight around my thighs.

I'm between an 8 and 10. The 8 zipped, but the 10 fit better. Comfortable, no bra needed. I did wear spanx to hold everything in. Thick material and so perfect. I paired with red heels and the Oscar De La Renta Painted flower necklace! 

I ordered the dress in a 10 & 12.  I normally wear an 8/10, but read previous reviews about it running a little small.  The 10 fit everywhere except the chest (which is always a problem for me).  The 12 fit my chest, but was the tiniest bit too big in other places.  All in all, I was pleased with the fit.  

The dress fits beautifully - true to size. My only complaint is that all of the wear and dry cleaning have basically ruined the lace on the neckline because it doesn't lay the way it does in the picture which was disappointed. Regardless, it was a great dress and very comfortable. 

This dress fit great and was VERY flattering. Even though I am short, the dress was a good length. I wore a size smaller than I usually wore because the waist was a little loose in my normal size. The only con about this dress, is that it looks very plain. I tried to spice it up with my shoes and jewelry! I would definitely recommend this one to anyone!

The 0 fit, but was just a little too short and tight for my liking, so I went with the 2!  It buckled just a little on top, but nothing too noticeable.  It was cut low, but not too low where I felt uncomfortable.  I loved this dress and got a lot of compliments on it!  Its great for someone who is petite.  :)  LOVE RENT THE RUNWAY!!

Loved this dress! Stretchy material, so I would go a size down, with the moving and up and down sitting, it slightly got a little roomier. Perfect cut to wear any garments underneath, with a larger bust, this was key! Black dress with a little detail on the shoulders with lace and waist to pull in a bit. Again, I suggest a smaller size then regularly worn, because being petite, it did pull down a little on the chest, and couldn't see all the detail with the lace trim. Would rent again. 

I am short so this dress was the right length, usually they are too long.  The style was a little bit sexy without being overtly sexy, and it's fitting to the body but not too tight. My husband loved it too!

I wore this dress to a LBD fundraiser event. I typically wear a size 2P (5'1", 100 lbs) and the size 0 fit perfectly. Being petite, I was especially pleased that the dress was not too long and fell a few inches above my knees. The material had a nice weight to it and was very comfortable and easy to dance in. I liked the lace details and neckline. Of all the dresses I've rented, this one had the best fit for me as far as being petite. Several women at the event complimented me on the dress too. Definitely recommend!

Dress ran true to size .... The material was thick so I didn't feel like it was see though at all ! A lot of compliments on it all night ... Overall great  little black dress !!!!

This dress fit as expected. I am 5'7, and it was a bit short on me, but not so much that I was uncomfortable at a semi formal wedding. My only complaint was that the lace was a bit frayed. It was fairly obvious that the dress had been worn several times. I am usually a size 6, and that size fit perfectly. 

This dress was perfect! It looked a little short on the model, but it was just right when I tried it on. And it fit like a glove! I wore spanx just to make sure everything was smooth. Definitely recommend this dress! 

The dress was beautiful!  Stretchy material made it comfortable the whole night!  I had a baby 6 weeks ago, so I wanted a dress that I would feel comfortable dancing and eating in. I ordered a 6 and 8, both fit almost exactly the same, but I chose to wear the 8 because I am nursing so the top needed a little more room and it gave a little more length than the 6.  I am glad I read the reviews because they were on point. The lace doesn't lay at the top of the dress, but it didn't matter. The dress was perfect!  At this point, I am 145lbs and a size F chest because of nursing.  I highly recommend ordering this dress as it was a huge success!

This dress fits great, true to size and has beautiful lace details.  It was really comfortable and I got lots of compliments. I'm not especially tall but I thought the length was perfect...a little flirty but not too short. I would recommend this dress for a wedding or cocktail event. 

This dress was extremely comfortable-easy to dance & move in. Not too short & not too long. I wore it with a standard bra and nude heels. I'm always between a 2 and a 4, and the 2 fit perfectly! I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone.

I wore this for my bachelorette party and loved it! The cut outs have nude fabric behind and the eyelash lace on the bottom, chest and cap sleeves was the perfect amount.

I wore this to my wedding anniversary dinner at a fancy restaurant. It's very comfortable. I only wish I'd gotten the next size smaller because it was a little bit big up top. I didn't realize that the dress was a little stretchy so that was my mistake. 
The lace is so pretty and the cut outs in the middle are very unique!

I adored this dress! It was perfect and classy for homecoming. It's not too tight but it shows off my curves very well! It cinched in my waist while not accentuating anything bad! Ir's a classic lacy little black dress with a like sexiness thrown in. Perfect dress for what ever occasion. I would rent this dress again in a heart beat!

I rented this dress for my birthday dinner.  It was  extremely comfortable & I received many compliments.  Be aware that it is short but I really enjoyed my night out in this dress!

I wore this dress to my little sister's bat mitzvah party. The dress fit well, but through out the night it stretched quite a lot. So by the end of the night it did not look as good as the first hour or two that I wore it. I would suggest sizing down for this reason possibly. Also, the material wasn't the best for hiding imperfections. It isn't the type of dress that holds you in itself, so if you have any trouble areas, you may have to wear spanks with it. But all in all I think that it is a sexy and adorable dress. 

I loved the fit of this dress, it was perfect for the winter wedding I went to. Flexible, and not too restrictive which made it easy to dance (and each delicious food!). I got a lot of compliments, for a simple black dress it still stands out. The lace on the waist helps the shape of your waist.  I would order a size down as the backup since it's stretchy, but that's just my opinion, I'm kind of in between a size 0 and a size 2 so for me the zero worked better. Chest area is not too revealing, but still sexy. Basically, all the great things I like about a dress: Looks goods, feels good, and compliments a fun night out.

I wore this dress to my sister's small, backyard wedding and it was perfect! I ordered the 2 and the 4 (though I usually wear a 2) and the 2 fit perfectly. I did not even have to try on the 4! The dress fit perfectly to my body and didn't ride up ever when I got the dance floor. It was a little short - I couldn't bend down very well, but it wasn't too tight - just enough to flatter my body and stay comfortable all night long! 

I wore this to an engagement party. This was the perfect little black dress. Fit great and was easy to move in when dancing. I recommend this dress for anyone that needs a dress for cocktail attire 

The dress fit well was comfortable and true to size. I liked the detail, but I would choose something more formal next time around. This is great for a semi-formal event. The fabric is thick with some stretch. 

Love this dress! It was extremely flattering. I wore it on NYE and received so many compliments.  Based on the reviews i sized up for my backup size, I wish I would have sized down to a six  but the eight worked fine. The dress was a flattering length, short but not too short where I worried about malfunctions. I would definitely rent this again!

Love the lace trim. Nice thick material that hides everything. Just note: I wore a size up from my normal size bc it was tight in the hips (but I'm sort of pear-shaped).  

The dress is stretchy , it's perfect for any formal affair. Its a beautiful dress

Prepare for a snug fit. I had a small issue with the arm holes being tighter than I'm used to. But for the one evening it worked well. Very sliming fit with the lace accents at the hips. Not very much stretch so be careful when getting low on the dance floor!!! 

I had ordered a different dress but both sizes were too big, so RTR overnighted me this dress to wear to a wedding reception. It was a little short, but not too bad. Very flattering. 

I wore this dress to semi formal. Easy to wear. fit in all the right placed. sad to return it!

This dress was true to size and fit very comfortably. It wasn't too short and was both formal and cute enough to wear to a fraternity formal. This fabric is thick and structured so it stays formed and in place. I loved the low back and the lace was a perfect touch. I definitely recommend!
