Me: 5'1", short arms, short torso, large chest, medium hip area

I wear a medium or large in most shirts but a small in coats usually because I am short. The jacket wouldn't close easily over my chest but a size up would make the arms too long. I left it open which was still cute (despite the big white button being a little distracting. It want a perfect fit but I still liked it. Had I a smaller chest it would have been a better look.

RTR didn't have my size so I ordered a large. It was very big!! Will definitely order again but a smaller size.

Rented this for a trip to London during the fall. Warm but lightweight, I wore over sweaters on colder days and with tshirts on warmer. Worked out great 

Fit true to size. I got so many compliments I kept it for an extra week. 

Easy coat to throw on with a dress. Fits loose. Really cute style, wish I could own! Was perfect for a rainy evening in October in California. 

It's a beautiful jacket, but it's for the tall and lean lady. My entire upper body was bursting at the seams, and on a cold day, this jacket just didn't do the job. I think size up for those with broad shoulders/bigger chests and definitely, if you want to wear something heavy underneath. Not much in the way of buttoning, but it is beautiful and classic chic. Just didn't work for me. 

Very cute long jacket. I wore it over a suit jacket and found it to be plenty warm in 40 degree weather - but it may be a little light for cooler temperatures. The button is a little unsightly and was too far down on my short torso so I left it open. 

I think it fits about right. I usually wear a M but with long jackets I have to take it up a size so my backside can fit in! I really like it, I think it may need some TLC as the only button in the front it quite loose. It may need to be replaced. LOVE.

I've been looking for a good long coat that wasn't super warm since I live in Texas and it barely gets below 40 and this coat fit the bill. I have broad shoulders and sometimes the coats can be tight around that area but not this one. It looks so awesome and literally goes with everything. I've worn it with jeans, sweats, and a dress. Thanks RTR for finding my winter coat for me this year!

I love this coat and it's so chic. I don't like the button so I bought the coat and am having the button replaced with a clasp 

Great fit! Only con is if you wear it and it's too cold or windy outside.

So chic and beautiful. This was such a simple but classy coat. Would rent again.

Overall, it has a lighter quality, but very stylish. The fabric is soft and cozy. I wouldn't say there are any problems with this coat, but just know it is not for really cold weather. 

This jacket was perfect. I'm 5'10 and it was a great length. The material was warm enough for a 50 degree day, but light enough to wear inside all day. It was beautiful and I hated returning it!

LOVED this coat. Gorgeous quality, design and weight. Great pockets and love the small detail of the light pink. Super coat. Would definitely recommend.

Loved this jacket, wish I owned it. I'm a size 10 pants and medium on top, but normally get a size large jacket in winter for layering, but the large was way too large. The medium was a great fit; my husband thought I could've even tried the small because of the sleeves. Would recommend for fall or winter, but not bitter cold winter unless you do have on layers.

Overall beautiful coat. Easy to pair with anything. Pockets don't open though. 

Many people commented on how sharp the jackey looked.  It felt light but warm and fit over all types of clothing.

This was a nice fall coat - not heavy duty for winter but a nice fall option. The white plastic button was kind of ugly though - especially because this looked cute just open. Also adds bulk at the hips if you wanted to put anything in the pockets

Lightweight, and lovely colors. Medium would have been perfect but took a chance and rented a L. I'm in between a 8-10.

Beautiful coat, lightweight but still kept me warm. Sleeves were a little long, but otherwise great rental! 

Wore this to a wedding at the end of October in Omaha, NE. Temps were in the 50s & high 40s and this coat was nice to be able to wear outdoors and indoors when I was a little chilly. It's not super thick and definitely wouldn't have been sufficient if it were any colder, but it worked nicely over a long sleeved dress. I found that this ran large, but my chest & shoulders are pretty petite. I got the XS as a backup size and I'm glad I did, as it fit me pretty perfectly!
One other note: this coat DOES have pockets. The XS that I got had them sewn shut (the S did not), but I cut them open and sure enough, nice big pockets. Not sure why RTR is sending out coats with the pockets still shut, but don't be afraid to open them – nobody should have to wear a coat without pockets!

Sophisticated and lightweight jacket perfect for Spring, but didn't end up wearing because it was overall too large. Would try a size smaller next time. 

Loved the oversized, comfortable fit. Has really great length to make a casual coat a little classier. It looks awkward buttoned because it just has the single button in the middle. This coat will not keep you warm, but its cute!! 

I don't want to send this jacket back! Nice weight for a SF winter. Warm but not too heavy. I gave a star off as the dome closure is so ugly. The designer needs to be more careful with construction. I wore mainly closed to avoid seeing it. Roomy in the bust and hips for those wondering what size to get. 

With the right outfit, it's beautiful.  I wore it with a scarf since the neckline is so bare.  Lots of compliments from well-dressed strangers.

Found this jacket ran large. I have broad shoulders so I usually get a small in jackets even though I'm an xs everywhere else. I was swimming in the small. Loved the jacket otherwise. It isn't warm, but is a great layer that adds some interest and sophistication. 

Arrived with a white spot on the top shoulder/ collar area. Not a huge issue, but a bit of a surprise. In terms of fit, I thought it fit as expected, but was a bit narrower than I'd hoped. It worked on me, but I could have sized up to the large to fit better in the chest & shoulders. Tightness up top meant the button didn't always lay flat. Overall, though, really great coat. 

Poor fit on me. The grey was a nice color and the pink stripe was a nice touch. Lightweight but not flattering

I was so excited to get this coat, but unfortunately it just did not work with my height. The coat is obviously long, but too long for my short legs and the back was noticeably big when my arms were down at my sides. Super sad because it was beautiful!

This coat is beautiful, but I was swimming in it. I am between an XS and a S, and I rented this in an S. I would recommend going a size down. I love the detail of the light pink stripe. Overall, the coat was warm and pretty, and I would definitely rent this again in a smaller size.

Coat is cute, in nice shape. The button closure on the bust pulls the fabric, a smaller chest would be a better fit. Can't really leave it open because the white button doesn't match well.

The fabric is really light. I was hoping to wear this as a coat on a chilly day but it was way too thin for that. Also no pockets.

It fits well and the cut is great.  The button in the front needs another tack stitch because it pulls weird.  Left open the button stands out too much and distracts from the coat.  Overall its a nice coat but I'm not sure I'd wear it again.
