This was my favorite RTR dress so far! I normally wear a 4 but rented the size 4 and 2 based on the feedback that it runs a little large. I could have worn the 2 however it was really short and form fitting. The 4 was a little roomy but definitely not too big and I think went with the understated sexy styling of the dress. I received a lot of compliments and was happy that while some other girls had similar dresses, none were of the quality or look of this DVF one. I would highly recommend this for any holiday event!

Classy Dress!

Got lots of compliments on this dress I wore to a holiday fashion show. Although there were lots of "black sequined" dresses, I felt that this one stood out because of the high neck and long sleeves. It was pretty short on me (and I'm only 5'4), but since the rest of the dress was conservative, it was fine. Found it difficult to move my arms too much as the sleeves were constricting, so probably wouldn't be a good dancing dress. But if you're going to an event where you are mostly standing around - it looks great :)

I love this dress!! It's perfect for an occasion or just a fun night out with the girls! It runs a little large, so it was slouchy on me, but I loved the way it fit and would wear it this way next time.

This dress is gorgeous. It is not as shiny as it appears in the picture so you can dress it up or down depending on the event. On a 5' 3 frame, hits about mid-thigh. The fit is beautiful and would definitely rent it again!

This dress looks awesome on the model, but doesn't have a very defined waist in reality. It bagged where it should've clung and clung where there should have been space.

:( Didn't fit right at all.. sleeves too tight

I rented this for my Birthday , and it was gorgeous when i pulled it out of the packaging, but i tried it on, and the sleeves were way too tight.. it was very weird. I ordered the 2 and 4, expecting to wear the 2.. and the 2 fit great everywhere else.. except the sleeves were literally so tight that i couldn't pull them all the way up! I am an athletic girl, but it was even tight on my wrists! So i made my friend try it on.. and she is TINY.. and the sleeves were tight on her too, but the dress was big!.. it was almost like the sleeves had ripped before, and they had to re-seam the sleeves in order to fix it, and they made them too small. I tried the 4.. and the dress was too big, but the sleeves were also too tight.. and there is NO stretch in the material, so i was unable to wear either one :( Major bummer, I usually love everything I order from RTR, be cautious when ordering this.. if ..you..have.. normal.. sized wrists?? lol

The dress is beautiful! If you are tall and thin, it will look great. If you are curvy, order up or choose something different. The quality of the dress was beautiful and the arrival was perfect. The dress is just very narrow cut. The dress also is very short so if you aren't really comfortable with your knees or upper thigh area, beware. I am not tall and the dress was very short on me. There is nothing wrong with the dress if you have the body type. I think a tall slender girl would be a knock out! :)

I was originally intimidated by the sequins on this dress, but it was a great choice for my girls night out! It is definitely short (mid thigh on me), but super flattering! It is fitted through the arms, so I recommend sizing up for backup!

Eye catcher of a dress

Was excited to receive and try on this dress! It runs large, and was not fitted on me at all like the model pic shows, however it was still beautiful and I received several compliments from complete strangers while wearing this dress! So all in all it was a hit, but if I ever wore it again I would order down a size.
