I agree that it runs a bit big - especially the shoulder. I was able to pin it pretty easily though so it didn't continue slipping off.

Love love love this dress!! I would normally wear a 4 in dresses but got a 2 in this dress and it was perfect! The only thing i didn't like was how the strap didn't stay on my shoulder, you will need to invest in some hollywood tape! Received so many complements in this dress!

Ran a little bit large overall but good fit. Flattering and perfect for a classic party, though the one shoulder look gives it a little bit of an edge. Wore to a black tie party and it was great!

This was my first time using Rent the Runway! Great experience over all! I gave it four stars only because the blue is a little faded already but still looked good. The strap was loose but I was able to manage it! I felt very comfortable in this dress and the length was prefect a little nervous because I'm petit. I will definitely try this again!!

I recently wore this dress to a black-tie wedding. I loved this dress the moment I saw it online and the only regret I have is that the navy seemed quite dark for a summer wedding. I didn't have the same slipping problem with the strap that others seemed to experience, but I think that's because I'm pretty tall. Dress fit well, I ordered the 6 and the 8. Wore the 6 because the 8 felt a little too big. I didn't wear any shapewear/spanx. I was a little nervous about the length when I was dancing/sitting but the dress was perfect. You can see from the picture that I'm taller than average when I am posing next to my sister-in-law! I wore the dress with dressy strappy satin heels and barely any jewelery - wish I had ordered some of the suggestions from the website to add some bling. The dress has some ruching/folds in it that needed a quick steam/iron to get them more crisp from the shipping. I would absolutely order this dress for a fall/winter occassion and it would be just right.

This was my backup dress and it turned out to be the real winner!

The dress runs a little big, but great for people who have curves or a larger chest, I'm a 34D usually wear an 8 but wore a 6 in this dress. The sash does fall a bit, but I pinned it. Unfortunately my pin wouldn't stay, so you can see from my pictures that I just pinned it all the way down and made it a strapless dress. The dress was a huge hit, I've never received so many compliments on a dress before. Definitely recommend!

the color of this dress makes for beautiful photographs......especially if you are looking for a brighter blue than the RTR image suggests. my size varies between a 4 & 6; this dress definitely runs big and i'm glad i ordered the 4. the dress is very flattering if you have some curves but the material over the shoulder is not structured and requires some pinning to make it look right. it's a gorgeous dress.........but it's clearly been worn a lot and it's starting to show.

I wore this dress my my husband's residency graduation dinner. Originally, I had another dress reserved and was notified it was not in and could pick any dress of my choice. I was told to order my true size and a size larger and my size definitely fit better. A great cocktail dress. I got a ton of compliments on it. If you can I would definitely order your true size and maybe one size smaller.

Unless you're one of the glamazons who Christian Siriano loves to dress, don't rent this one. Most of the dress runs true to size or even a little small (especially in the bust), but the shoulder piece is WAY too big (by at least 2-3 inches!). The proportions were completely out of whack, so it wouldn't stay up and I couldn't wear it. But it is a beautiful color and wonderfully made, so if you are tall and thin, this is a great dress for you!

Alright, well, I rented this dress for my senior homecoming, and let me tell you, it was a BIG mistake. This dress was not easy to move around in because it kept falling down. I honestly was dancing with one hand in the air, and thee other holding the dress from falling down. Although, the color of the dress was beautiful, and from the stomach down the dress fits fine. GET A SIZE SMALLER! The little strap does nothing for support, and kept falling down the ENTIRE night!

I really loved the style and fit of this dress. The only problem I had was the shoulder kept slipping all night. I do agree with other reviews about ordering a size down. Also, the material folds on the shoulder were falling over when I took the dress out of the box because of how it was shipped. I had to do some pinning to get them to lay flat like in the picture.

I wore this dress for an opera recital I had and the compliments were overwhelming!!! This is a perfect dress for a black tie event or cocktail party. It is beautifully draped and structured. However it does run large as I am normally about a 6 and it was pretty big on me- I could have definitely worn a 4 so order your normal size and then one smaller.

This is a gorgeous dress. I'm so disappointed I didn't get to wear it. I usually wear a 4 and I ordered this in a 4 and 6. I know the size and fit says it runs a size small but even in the 4, the shoulder was slipping down. Order your size and maybe a size down...
