This was super comfortable. The one shoulder was not constricting at all, and I received tons of compliments. The ruffles were the perfect amount of mature, and not too girly. Also, the ruffle extended down around my underarm - which was a flattering feature. The skirt was surprisingly flowy - yet contained - so it was SO fun to dance in!!

Originally I rented the navy version of this dress, but it arrived damaged and RTR was able to replace it overnight with the black version. For some strange reason, the black run significantly shorter than the navy. Not awful, but something to think about if you're debating between the two. Otherwise, I loved this dress and found it to run a bit large (I normally wear a 2 but had to wear the 0) Got tons of compliments and loved having a black dress that still stood out from the crowd.

I wore this dress to the White House Correspondents' Dinner and felt very glamorous among all the celebrities and media present. The dress runs true to size, is made of a nice, substantial material and the long size was great because even with my height I was able to wear heels. I would highly recommend this dress. In the photo, my daughter is also wearing a RTR dress!

I rented this gown for a black tie wedding and absolutely LOVED wearing it. I felt so fabulous and got a ton of compliments on my attire. I'd highly recommend this gown for a nice wedding or black tie event. Add the Gerard Yosca Emerald Eye Chandelier Earrings for some added bling! **One thing to note, I am 5'4 and the size 4 gown length worked fine for a small heel, however, if you are taller, I recommend getting a larger size as the length might be too short on you.

The fit runs a little big. I ordered the 10, which is my most true size and this ran roomy. The top was large (and I am a 38 C/D). It lovey, but a little "run of the mill" unless you snaz it up in some other way.

I was fairly disappointed by this dress. I am a very consistent 4 but this dress was HUGE on me and didn't fit my waist at all, so much so that I ended up wearing my back up RTR dress instead. I was also surprised by the material, it was very heavy and thick and had a train on the back that I wasn't expecting. The long was way too long on me, even with my highest heels, but since I was working at my non-profit's black tie gala that night I knew the train wouldn't work and someone was going to step on the back of it. Overall, I still love the ruffle on the shoulder, but it's just not built for girls with any hips that don't want to look like tents.

I wore this dress for a formal black tie gala at the Ritz Carlton in Chicago. It was perfection. The material was lush and looked brand new. I received several compliments and felt extremely comfortable in it around co-workers. The ruffle sits very nicely on chest and the dress ran true to size. It does run a bit short in length so don't plan on wearing skyscraper heels!

It was heavy and fit very large, but we flattering. I'm 5'10 I usually wear a 10 and went with the 8L I also didn't wear heels because it was a little short when I added the heels. The hanger pieces kept falling out throughout the night so tuck those in well or use tape.

I loved wearing this dress while attending and singing at my friend's wedding. It was beautiful and great for the February occasion as i hate showing my pasty legs during the winter. This runs large so get the size below your regular size as your extra size. My only critique of this gown is that it does not really define the waist, kind of hangs, but the amazing neckline made up for it!. Another happy customer!

This dress is gorgeous, but is not made for tall people. I ordered a size 6L and 8L and both were WAY too short. The 6L fit me perfectly but was just touching the ground while I was barefoot. I tried on the 8L hoping that it would be a few inches longer but they were the same length. I guess I could have worn the dress if I had flats, but definitely could not wear it with any heels - very disappointing as the dress is stunning. If you are shorter than 5'8" I think this dress is for you.... girls taller than 5'8" may want to pick another dress.

I am normally a size 6 and I am 5'6/7 but the long dress was a bit short with my 3 inch heels. I rented both the 6 & the 4 and both fit but the 4 was much more flattering -- so size down! Was also very tight in the chest which made it difficult for me to wear a bra. But overall, it was a gorgeous dress and I got lots of compliments on it!

I rented this dress for a black tie gala. It was perfect. I rented the 6 and 8, both tall. I wore the 6 tall. Thanks goodness I rented the tall. It was perfect with my 3 inch patent peeptoe pumps. I used a standard bra and tucked the left strap into the dress. It worked great and gave me that little lift to make the top iof the dress fill out better!! I wore it with black and gold earrings and my grandmothers fur. It was perfection. I was not as impressed with the shipment this time. I did not get the belt with my backup dress and did not get any of the tape use to secure the dress. Otherwise perfection!! Online renting another dress for next weekend.

Very easy to wear and looked great. Definitely wear shape wear underneath and beware the strapless bra you choose ... mine peeked out the top on the low side from time to time. Also, the hangar straps were annoying and would recommend pinning or taping them down (I had to fuss with them all night). Great dress, would rent again.
