Dress looked great, the reviews were very helpful. My usual dress size is between and 8 and 10. Based on the reviews I ordered the 42 and 44. The 42 was perfect. My friend was also wearing a rent the runway dress.

I wore this to the Directors reception at the Yacht Club I received so many compliment and I felt very good in the dress. I was so glad that I ordered the 42 in addition to the 40. I have been wearing size 8 with other RTR dresses, but this one runs very small in the waist and was way to tight to zip up at my 34D breast. Having to wear the next size made it a little long both in the length of the dress but in the sleeve length. But I loved it and might rent it again.

The dress is perfect for an Opera Show at The Met. I wore it to go see the Barber of Seville- it was a perfect fancy evening dress. The only thing I found a little bit annoying and scary at the same time was how to put it on - I was afraid to tear the fabric- it can get a little complicated. Also - *DO NOT* wear a padded strapless bra with this dress - I wore a thin strapless and it was perfect. It was freezing in NYC that weekend so I ended up wearing boots with the dress and tossed the tights. I wore size 36 because they didn't have the smaller size available. The sleeve length was a little to long for me (I'm short - 5'2'').

i was surprised that it was navy, not black but loved it anyway. the sleeves were a little hard to button and the button cover popped off one sleeve at the first try. otherwise it was perfect. seemed true to size (the 34 fit like a 0), length was to the knee. wish i owned it.

I loved this dress, it looks elegant and is perfect for a work dinner party. I have no waist but this dresses gave me one. I ordered size 42 and 44 (10 and 12). Size 10 looked great in the front, but the back (see picture) the zipper keep moving to one size. Size 12 it was way too big and a little baggy, the sleeves were really long. I guess a size 11 would have been great. In the pictures I’m wearing a size 10.

The dress is not as sheer on as it looks in the picture. I was more "covered up" than most others at this event. The back detail is nice, a little "business in the front, party in the back" dress. It is a very pretty dress.

This dress is classy and elegant, yet due to it's length, still fun and appropriate for daytime events. I wore it to a Naval Change of Command Ceremony on base, and to the evening reception afterwards. The material is very pretty, but also strong, only gaining a wrinkle or two from sitting throughout the day. However, the 'belt' looks a little cheap. I didn't love the loophole online, but in person, it was just the right amount of character needed for such a conservative dress. It fit me very nicely, although a little snug on my hips and not any real give (wore spanx). You can see the outline of undergarments underneath, so chose something seamless. Overall, the dress was perfect for a conservative event where I wanted to show respect, and honor our military. I would definitely rent this one again. I received a ton of compliments! Hopefully I'll add some photos soon!

This dress is beautiful. I wore it to a fall wedding and received so many compliments on it. It has just the right amount of skin showing to be sexy, while still looking classy and elegant. This dress fit me almost perfectly (it was just a little tight in the chest area). Overall, I loved it and wished I could keep it!

Not being able to wear the dress.....

I was so in love with this dress and was so sad not to wear it! The size that fit was the smaller of the two that you sent to me. In this dress the inner charmeuse dress was not tacked to the outer chiffon on the right side. I did not have a needle and thread with me and sadly had no time to fix it. I tried the "Hollywood tape" that was sent to me, but that did not hold it. I could not wear it because it restriced my movement when it draped down my upper arm. Would I use this service again? Probably, but I would really inspect the garment closely before committing to wearing it. This was my mistake because I did not have enough time to do so. Other than that your shipping was right on time.

Do not rent this dress if you have any hips! The bias cut slip of the size 6 got hung up on my normally size 4 hips, and it would not lay down. Very unfortunate...

This dress was a last minute upgrade because I ordered a cheaper size 6 long sleeve navy dress. By looking at the picture or even seeing it on the hanger, this isn't something I would've have picked out for myself. HOWEVER, this dress is is wonderful! It's sexy and classic so you could wear it to all sorts of events. Also, I have larger than average arms but the sleeves weren't tight at all.

Fit true to size I thought. I ordered the smaller size too (2). Thankfully, my normal size (4) was the one that fit. I have what I call "regular girl" thighs and the smaller size (2), although it fit me in my waist, arms and boobs, was WAY too tight in the thigh area. If you are afraid this might happen, order one size up or your normal size and it should work.

I recently wore this dress to a wedding rehearsal dinner. It was absolutely perfect! Just sexy enough, without being revealing or showy. It looks fairly conservative from the front, but I got so many compliments on it once I turned around! I had actually rented another dress, which became unavailable the day of my delivery. RTR upgraded my order and sent me this dress instead (their stylists must have used my rental history to select something I'd love, because this was a winner off the bat!). I was a bit wary at first, because chiffon has no give. The 36 fit (but just barely), but I went with the 38 for comfort. It fell perfectly over my hips, with no pulling or puckering. I felt wonderful in it, and may even rent it again, I enjoyed wearing it so much (that is, unless it goes on retirement sale first!).

I ended up not wearing this dress and using my backup instead. It was very pretty but felt a little too conservative. I also didnt love the open slot in the back. The sleeves were very long. It was very figure flattering but I ended up going with a little bit sexier black lace dress that I rented instead.

This dress was stunning with understated elegance. It was very comfortable. I ordered size 6 and 8 (38 and 40). The 40 just made it around my hips. I recommend sizing up as back up size.
