Got this on the big sale day as a purchase to keep I love it so much! Am between a 4 and 6 and am happy i went with the 6 for comfort. Planning on wearing it regularly for important work functions and networking. Professional and flattering while clearly made for a work environment.

Rented this for my bridal shower. I have a petite torso so the band didn't hit in the exact spot it should, but still looked great and got lots of compliments. Runs true to size

I wore this to one of my more formal bridal showers. It was very appropriate, conservative length and style. The peplum around the waist/hips was a nice flare. I'm 6 ft tall and it was about 2  inches above my knees. It is a little snug around the legs and hip area. Very fitted at the waist.

I'm always a 4 in j.crew, Lilly, BR, etc., but often need a 6 in BCBG or French Connection. As other reviewers noted, the dress shows a few signs of wear, most likely because it's an oldie but a goodie.  Overall, I was very pleased with my rental.  

The 4 fit me on the bottom, not on top.  I'm not big cheated, but 6 fit aver all ok. A little baggy on my butt, but it look ok, I wanted to look lose on me, I would wore the 4 if I wanted to look sexier, it still fitted me.

I usually wear a 4, had to go with the 6 due to the waist and bust. I am an athletic build, 36D. I love the lace look. The length was great, went from day to night easily. I wore it to the Capitol to work, and then attended a networking event at a bar from 6-8pm. Red shoes with a red bag and perfection! I love that you can do any color shoe with this dress, 2 thumbs up!

Was the perfect dress for my engagement party.  I wanted something structured, not completely white, and elegant.  This dress fit all those requirements to a tee.

I liked dress alot!  But not the fit.  I wore another RTR that night. I'm 5'2'', 115 lbs, a and  petite athletic build. I loved the cut of the higher waist and the peplum did not add bulk as I had feared, but like all BCBG's, this one is made for a girl with pencil thin legs  I have a tiny waist so that worked, but the top was big on me, way big.  It hit me right at the knee. Okay for shorties, but only if you have scrawny legs and big boobs!  The 4 fit me the best. The lace was very worn on the 4, but the 2 looked okay. The 2 fit my top better but not my bottom. It wasn't too formal as I had feared. Totally doable for day or evening, date or fancy party.  

Like all of the reviews say, definitely size up!   I usually wear a 6 and it was just too tight in the thigh/leg area.  The 8 fit PERFECT.  I wore it to my bridal shower and got tons of compliments!  

I wore this dress to my wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.  I'm so happy with my choice and I felt incredibly classy and beautiful the whole night.  I usually wear a 4 but I ended up wearing the 6 in this dress because the 4 was just a tad too short and tight.  The 6 was a bit loose in the waist but it was definitely the better fit for me for this occasion.  I would rent this dress all over again!

I rented this for mon's day Sunday with my siblings, 89YO mom and other family. Perfection for any occasion - I even wore it to work with nude platform pumps. 

Usually wear a zero but 2 was right in this dress - glad I sized up a notch. It is softly fitted and so so so pretty - I wish I had better shots to share!

Can be worn as professional, family friendly or sweetly sexy!

The dress was gorgeous, I am tempted to buy it but now that I have so many pics it wouldn't make sense! I'm typically a 0 and it fit true to size, which was a relief because they weren't able to send a 2 for free. The pattern is simple yet elegant and looked great under my cap and gown. The zipper was a bit tough so make sure you have a friend on hand because as the peplum starts it gets hard to zip. Other than that, I would 10000% rent this one again, truly a gem! 

I usually dance between sizes 4 and 6; I wore the 6 and it was a little tight around the thighs, which is a problem I rarely have. It was a gorgeous dress and I was happy I could wear a regular bra with it.

Would definitely rent again!

Rented this for a derby themed party and received lots of compliments- it was the perfect dress for the occasion. I ordered a 4 and 6 after reading reviews- it does run a bit small but one size up from my normal size worked for me although it was snug when I sat down (tight around the thighs but that got better as the night went on).  If you have a smaller waist it cinches it very nicely- great for an hourglass shape.

Wore for my daughters baptism. True to size and everyone said the dress looked great and fit me so  well! 

This dress is  perfect for a bridal shower, it is sexy yet classy. It is a little tight to get over the hips but once worn it is sooo comfortable! This was my first time renting from here and I would rent again. I kept getting compliments in this dress the entire afternoon, everyone kept telling me I was glowing and they couldn't believe how perfect the dress looked on me. When I told people I rented it they were in shock. I felt beautiful in this dress and it was so perfect for the occasion. One more thing, I loved the slit in the back of the dress!

I liked the way the dress looked on me overall. It was very suitable for city hall and dinner plans afterwards. A big plus were the little flaps around the tummy area which helped to hide my tummy well. 


The cut and fabric are so pretty.  I wore a size up and I still felt like it was snug in spots.   The waist was a little too high ( because of my height .). Not my favorite dress but still had lots of compliments       A classy choice for a wedding or luncheon.  

The fit was a little tight in the hips for me but was great. Loved the fabric- very gorgeous and expensive-looking. Loved the shape of the dress too! Peplum is flattering. Perfect for a bridal tea. :) 

Tight in the bust area but not uncomfortable. 

I really liked the design although I wanted the peplum to be a little poofier (it looks very flat in some pics) and the color was darker than I thought it was going to be (beige on light brown instead of white on tan).  
Still the dress was very beautiful and classic!  I wore the 4 for looks but I think I should have worn the 6 for comfort.  The 6 was only a tiny bit looser looking but I was told it was noticeable.  The 4 fit fine but I was a little nervous when sitting or bending over to pick a gift up.

The dress runs small. I got the size 2 and 4, I ended up wearing the 2. It was snug around my butt however everything else fit perfectly. The zipper is a pain and you'll definitely need some assistance. It's an absolutely gorgeous dress.

The dress is super flattering, comfortable, and an appropriate length for taller women. I got so many compliments the night of my engagement party and I felt like a million bucks. A perfect first rental experience!

The dress is actually a lot more neutral than it is in the product image and in my images, but it photographs more white. I found it to be a little big on me but I also don't have many curves :\. All in all I liked it and it was great for the occasion, but wasn't in LOVE with the way it looked on me. I did love the whole Rent the Runway process though...it was awesome and I plan to use again! :)

rented this dress for my bridal shower and I recieved so many compliments. was very comfortable and easy to rent. the only reason that I gave this dress 4 stars was because it was a little loose in the top area which looked a little funny in some pictures. 

This dress overall fit nicely.  I usually wear a 4 but the 6 fit much better overall.  My thighs are a little thicker so it was a little snug in the skirt but I received tons of compliments and it looks elegant in the photos.

The fit was a little snug, but it was a great dress for my twin boys baptism! The dress came pressed and ready to be worn! I can't wait to rent again :) 

The dress fit a bit snug about the hips. I am usually a size 4,  but needed a little extra room on the bottom.  The fabric of the dress is beautiful, elegant and timeless.  It is a classy dress that also turned heads.  I would certainly recommend it for any work occasion, graduation, or cocktail party.  

Fits just about right but possibly a little snug, so if you are at all worried about size then I would suggest ordering a size up rather then a size down as your back up. Great for any occasion though!

I would agree with most, size up so you can sit comfortably, the hips are tight. 

This dress was perfect for my dress rehearsal and dinner! It was just the right mix of staying classy and looking sexy. I got compliments on it all night! It was a little tight in the skirt, so those of us with curvier backsides - be warned it was a tight fit  - I had to adjust it/pull it down every now and then throughout the night. My husband still talks about how awesome I looked that night. 

Perfect dress for my rehearsal dinner. I waver between a 4 and a 6 and I ended up wearing the 6. It was very comfortable and I got a lot of compliments!

Beautiful and classy BCBG dress.  I wore this for my daughter's baptism and received many compliments.  The fit was perfect and true to size, and as always the rental process with RTR is very smooth.  I'd definitely recommend this dress.

I chose this dress for my bridal shower and was not disappointed.  I can't tell you how many compliments I received from everyone!  FYI The dress does run a bit small in the bust area so even thought I'm normally a size 2, I needed the size 4 so I didn't feel constricted.  Overall a beautiful dress!
