The perfect dress for a grand exit!

I wore this dress for my own wedding - I changed just before our exit and it was a huge hit! I had so many compliments on the dress, and it looked spectacular with the sparklers we used for our exit! It was wonderful to be able to change into such a gorgeous dress (believe me, after spennding the whole day in a heavy strapless wedding gown, you're ready for a change) - and I still completely felt like a bride! I rented the 2 and 4 and ended up wearing the 2. It fit perfectly, and I have a very full bust (34/36 D). I was tired of wearing heels so I wore flats with it, and the 2R was still a tad long. Not unmanageable but would've been perfect with about 3 in heels I think.

What a totally unique dress. I got so many compliments all night long.

I rented the 4L and 6L, but wore the 6L. As I'm rather pear shaped, the fullness in the hips was a good fit for me. The dress is so soft, completely lined so no scratching like other sequined dresses. I wore 3 inch heels were were too short for the 6L, but the drape of the dress was not too much of a problem to walk in. It just flowed. Needed a few pieces of tape to hold the shoulders in place, but dancing revealed no unwanted parts.

I chose this dress for my senior prom and let me tell you, I could not have been happier. I 100% COMPLETELY FELL IN LOVE!! I received compliments from everyone ALL NIGHT and even from strangers who told me my dress was by far their favorite. It is seriously a perfect dress. The sparkles are gorgeous and not cheap looking, and it really does work well on every body type. It does run very big as others said. I normally wear a 10L but had to wear the 12L because the zipper got stuck on the 10L dress, but even the 10 was big on me, I could've probably worn an 8. If you have any reservations about this dress, throw them out the window!! You can't go wrong with this dress, even if you tried :)

I am usually a size 4 in all dresses but I have a smaller chest for this dress (I'm a 34B) and it was definitely made for someone bigger! Other than that, the 4R was larger around the waist, breast area and under the arms. I got the 2R and it was way too short (I'm 5'8") and it was above my ankles! I ended up getting the 2L due to the boobage (or lack thereof) and the length. It fit like a glove! The 2R is in the picture

If you are wondering if this should be a dress for you and wonder if its worth it. It SOOOO IS! I wore this for my prom. Be Prepared for Eyes staring at you the entire nice I ended up wearing the 2nd dress size 6R because the size 8R was way to big. Even the size 6 was big. I was strongly Suggest the going size to 2 sizes down. If you do have a big bust i would also suggest fashion tape. Besides that nothing wrong with the dress would definitely rent again!

Gorgeous gown! Great first experience with RTR!

This was my back up dress, but it was so fantastic that my sister and I decided this was the dress to wear! I wore this to perform a song for a Broadway themed awards show. The sequins were so gorgeous in regular light, but on the stage they were gorgeous! The top is a little loose with the wrap type v-neck, but I was able to wear a regular bra and then used some fashion tape to keep everything secure. The length was perfect with heels, approximately 4 or 4.5 inches high. I now know why this is such a popular dress!

Beautiful gown got complements all night- it was very hard to get the zipper to come up, the fit was perfect in fact a little loose, so it wasn’t that we were forcing .Literally it took 4 people to make the zipper work. But I guess it was worth it. I love wearing it.

Couple of notes on this dress. The color is less pure silver and more pinkish - like a pink champagne which made it a little difficult to match shoes. None the less I got a ton of compliments. Be ware if you have a tummy on you - this will show if you don't wear spanx. Looks great with a wrap if you're afraid of showing arms. I was comfortable all night.

This dress was a perfect fit for me! I was sent the 14 and 16, and the 14 was the best size due to it needing to be slightly fitted across the bust. I was worried about my bust area and having too much cleavage, so I used a small safety pin to pin it slightly higher to avoid this. The dress was a great shape, and very flowy from the waist down. I can't recommend this dress enough to ladies who want to show off their curves and sparkle!

I wore this to my senior prom and was anxious until the day it came in. Anxious in a good way, that is. I initially ordered the 6 and 4 because in some instances I can fit 4 and 6 size dresses. I read that it ran large so I decided to try on the 4 first. It fit so fabulously and wasn't tight one bit! I had no issue with it but the zipper was a little of a hindrance. I wore this dress for my 4th prom my senior year. I was nervous to rent a dress online, but I could not find any dresses as fashion forward as I wanted at salons. I rented this in a 2R and 4R, the 4R was shorter and wasn't quite the right length for me, so I ended up going with the 2R with about 2'' heels. The sequins did not scratch me at all and it was nice to have the straps so I wouldn't have to keep pulling the dress up. I did, however, add fashion tape (which was included in a nice little care package) to the plunging neckline so you couldn't see my normal bra underneath. It was such a beautiful dress and fit wonderfully! I'd definitely recommend renting this for your special occasion.

I felt in love with the dress when I got it! I never used Rent the Runway so I was hesitant when I decided to use RTR for my Senior Prom. Now I know that I had nothing to worry about! The dresses arrived on time! Definitely size down in the dress. I ordered my size and a size up and should have gotten a size down because the top was a little loose. Even with my pear shape, the dress fit perfectly. The zipper is a bit hard to zip so make sure you have people to help you. Also, RTR send you fashion tape if you have any need for it! I received countless compliments and it truly make me feel amazing on my special night!

I ordered this dress for my final grad school cello recital. I ordered the 14R and 16R and the 16 fit perfectly. I was even able to wear flats with the 16 (I'm 5'4" so that doesn't happen often). I did have to safety pin the neckline closed a little at the bottom because I didn't want to flash too much cleavage but otherwise the dress needed no tweaking. It was perfect for my recital because I have to be able to move around comfortably and I felt very secure in this piece. I got compliments from every single person that came to my recital, and even my teacher's 4 year old daughter came backstage to tell me "you look like a beautiful mermaid." An absolute success and I am definitely going to order from RTR again!

The sequins really stole the show

I wore this dress for an engagement shoot at Lincoln Center. It's really more of a black tie evening / red carpet dress, but I wanted the drama of the blush sequins against the crisp architecture. No surprise people around us were all staring and looking on. One lady walking her dogs walked over and said that I looked gorgeous. Definitely felt that way! Technicalities: zipper is a PAIN! Be prepared for that by allowing yourself some extra time. There is a small stitch that keeps the two front panels a bit more closed. On mine, it was broken which caused some extra cleave to show. Very fixable with a pin. The length on a R is perfect for a 5'8 gal. I'm 5'4 and wore 4.5" platform heels and managed alright. Photos by Jen Huang Photography.

I ordered the 14L and the 16L for my senior prom. I wear a 14 in dress sizes, but due to a broken zipper, I had to settle with 16. The 16 was large, but nothing a few safety pins couldn't fix! My boobs haven't caught up with the rest of my body, so there was a little extra fabric in that area, but a good push up bra fixed that problem. I could have easily worn heels all night, if my feet had been up for it. The 16L was the perfect length for 5 inch heels and the 14L would have been fine with 3 or 4 inch heels. Overall, I was unbelievably impressed with this dress. It's sturdy, and it definitely makes a statement without being too over the top. The color is more of a rose gold than gold gold, which I matched with brown. Also, this dress was so comfortable!! I could easily dance and move around without anything moving around or falling out. I highly recommend this dress. :)

I rented this dress for my "Great Gatsby" senior prom and loved it! I was so nervous about the fit, but it was perfect! It's a gorgeous pink champagne color, though it kinda changes depending on lighting. goes with almost anything, and the sequins aren't rough on arms and hair, which is great! Only problem I had was with the bust, the front comes pretty low, but you can wear a regular bra with fashion tape and shouldn't have issues, just bring extras! Biggest advice I can give; measure yourself and use the charts from the designer's website, you'll be flawless. As far as my experience, I had a ton of compliments! And everyone knows prom is a huge fashion contest, so having people out there saying your dress is their favorite one they've seen is awesome! Still getting compliments to this day, not a forgettable dress!

Really loved this dress on the website and wanted to love it when it arrived in the mail. However, when I took it out to try it on, I couldn't get the zipper t go up. This was not because the dress was too small (we had plenty of room to hold it closed) but because the zipper got stuck. We even tried zipping it off of my body and the 4R backup dress and the zippers just wouldn't budge. Gorgeous dress when you can zip it, but good luck with that part.

I wore this dress for my senior prom. The fit was exact to my body. I'm so glad I took advantage of the second size because I originally ordered 0R because I am usually a 0 but that turned out to be too small so I stayed with the 2R. The dress was extremely long for my frame, I had to hem it about 4 inches which was difficult because you can't cut it and the cloth is heavy but it is possible. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the zipper. The zipper was extremely hard to move, it gets stuck with the sequins, you're going to need help. Overall I loved the dress. I had never felt so beautiful and glamorous. I received various complements. The service from RTR was awesome I got the dress just in time for my event. This is the first time I used RTR and I will continue to use it.

I fell in love with this dress as soon as I tried it on. This dress is perfect if you have curves and you want to show them off! The dress runs big so you want to get the size you usually are and a size smaller ,also if you are busty you need to get a bigger size than what you are because the dress becomes smaller at the bust. The dress is cut low at the breast area so you need to use fashion tape to secure your twins! Other than that the dress is just perfect.

A show-stopper! Very glam. It is more of a rose-gold, than gold, so keep that in mind.

This dress is fabulous. It runs a little large. I am generally a 10 in most designers, but in this dress, the 8 actually fit better. The amount of fabric around the middle does "increase" the waistline a bit - so keep that in mind (it doesn't lay flat). The zipper is extremely hard to get up - you will need an assistant or two. The length is just right. It's a little low cut (I am "full" on top), but I didn't feel like I was going to fall out, just a little more exposed than normal for me.

If you are busty, this dress does provide room that other gowns likely will not. There was a sewn thread holding the top together midway between the breast on the 12 that wasn't on the 14. It made the chest too tight on the 12, but the 14 fit nicely.

I read a lot of reviews that the top of the dress is really big, but I didn't find that to be an issue (and I am not very large up top AT ALL) Because a lot of the reviews said that the dress ran large I ordered a 0L (XL wasn't available) and a 2XL. The 0L was too small, and hit the floor with NO shoes on. The 2XL fit perfectly! I am 5'9 and wore 3 inch heels and the dress hit the floor. My only concern was that it made my hips look a bit wider than they really are. The fabric drapes outwards at your hips. Definitely a beautiful dress. Very happy with my purchase :)

This dress fit like a glove! The size 2 long length was perfect for my 4" heels. I felt like a movie star all night and got countless compliments on it! (I wore it for a Great Gatsby theme fundraiser.) Honestly, I didn't want to take it off, it was so beautiful. And shockingly comfortable! You'll adore this dress too! I was worried that it would make my middle section appear poochy (as some reviewed) but SO not the case. It draped beautifully and the weight of it was perfect! I'm over the moon happy that this dress worked out; it was my first choice! Fabulous first experience with RTR. The dress catches the light beautifully even in low lighting. It was a bit long so I wore 4" heels. I had a difficult time deciding what shoes and accessories would match because the dress' color can honestly go with either silver or gold. I'm extremely pleased I got this dress!

I waited too late to go out and shop for a dress and I had huge time constraints. I had heard about Rent the Runway so I looked through the site. I called customer service after having some problems finding long dresses on the rapidly approaching date I needed them. She was fantastic and helped me find this dress since I am so tall. (5'11 1/2") I don't wear gold. Ever. But I went ahead with this choice and I'm so glad I did. I bought the jewelry the day of the event and it was a perfect look. There was a small area near the bottom hem where the sequins had all fallen off but it wasn't noticeable. I was just concerned about being charged for the preexisting damage, but wasn't. The zipper is a little sticky, but it will work. Someone had pinned the bust higher up and I took it out and let it go to where it did since there wasn't any danger of anything falling out here. I wore a low cut bra and it worked perfectly. I wore 3 inch heels and the dress was long enough and so elegant. Regrettably, a friend at the ball was wearing the exact same dress at the ball and I'm sure she got hers from RTR. I walked right over to her, we had our picture taken together and laughed about what great taste we each had in dresses. It was a huge event at the Fabulous Fox Theater in Atlanta and I'm easygoing so it didn't have any impact on my night, but maybe RTR could have some sort of way to prevent people from renting the same dress for the same event in the future? I will rent again. Thank you.

The lining is super soft. The sequins are high quality. The color is more like rose gold. It was a little large, I could have gone down one size. (normally a 2). The front does V kinda low, but someone had put a tiny stitch in it before and it worked perfectly. The sequins never scratched and it is easy to wear a comfortable wedge with the length. I wore this for my Senior Formal.

I ordered this dress for my one & only senior prom. I had decided this dress was "the one" way back in June. I placed the order for this gown in December, needless to say I like to plan ahead andit worked out for the best. I was hesitant about the sizing at first but the size 2 was even a little big on me! The zipper was sort of tricky, but overall fine. I didn't need to hem the dress or anything but it did drag a little and I hated that I had to pick it up at times. The cleavage was easy to cover up (though I was comfortable with the small amount) but make sure to not get the sequins under your skin it feels weird and gave me a sliver. The dress was a pinkish/champagne/copper/light gold so I would dress your date appropriately (we went with a lavender and it worked well). I really love love love'd this dress. The amount of compliments I got from everyone was astonishing and I truly felt like $506506903569034069. I still keep getting compliments even now. I seriously could not have asked for a more gorgeous/show stopping gown.

LOVED the dress. I am a size 4R and I wore the size 4R, but as the night went on the dress seemed to get larger (weird) so I regretted not wearing the size 2R. I am 5'4 134 pounds and a D sized cup and the length was perfect with 4 inch heels. I wore it to a military ball so it was perfectly elegant. While wearing the dress it seemed pink/ rose gold but in pictures it looked gold. GET IT.

I rented this for my sorority's formal. I originally was going to wear the Badgley Mischka "Put It On the Glitz" gown which is the black version of this, but it was too short. I am 5'10 33-25.5-35.5 and normally a size 2 or 4, and I was SO glad when RTR said it wouldn't be a problem to overnight this Glitz gown to me because it comes in the extra long length. I ended up wearing the 2XL. When I tried it on I was sooo happy because the colour is absolutely amazing--it's like a champagne-y pink/blush colour and everyone said it looked great with my tan from Spring Break! Much more flattering than the black. I was able to wear 3" wedges with this dress length and it was just grazing the floor--perfection! It does run a little large I think. I had to wear a bra with some extra push to give it a little oomf (I'm a 32 A). Bustier girls should be fine, and wearing a normal bra works because you can't see the straps. Overall, I am beyond thrilled with my first RTR experience :) It was a perfect dress to tie together my perfect formal!

I loved this dress so much!! Im normally a size 13/14 and I got a 12R and a 10R both sizes fit but the 12R was just way too large in the bust! I went with the 10R and the bust was still a little big but I pinned it and used the fashion tape to hold it in place! The 10R was the perfect length with my 3in heels and when I changed into my flip flops it grazed the ground a little so I had to lift it while walking. The dress is definitely more of a rose gold/bronze color and it looked great with my light pink shoes and accessories. I got many compliments on this dress and I would recommend this dress to anyone going to a formal event!! :)

I wore this dress to a naval ball and I received compliments all night! I was torn between the 0R and 0L but even with my high heels the 0R was more comfortable and the perfect length. At first when I tried it on I thought it felt a little too tight around the ribcage while the 0L felt slightly looser, but in the end I chose the 0R and I felt comfortable in it the whole time. The zipper is a little difficult to work with so make sure you have a friend help you out when you put the dress on. I was most worried about the fit around my chest since I'm a little more flat chested, and while it was slightly loose it was nothing a little tape couldn't fix! Overall this is a great dress and I was so sad to mail it back!

I rented this dress for my fiance's Army Aviation Ball, and I was so excited for it to come! When I unwrapped the Rent the Runway box and saw this dress I had no words to describe how beautiful it really was; the pictures do not do it justice! I rented a 2L and a 4L, and the 2L fit better with a higher neckline and not as much fabric draped around the waist. However, with two people we could not get the dress to zip. Not that it wouldn't because of the fit, but because it was just an impossible zipper! I went for the 4L and it didn't ruin how I felt in it. I received compliments all night long; people telling me I looked like barbie! It was easy to dance it and I had no problem getting down on the dance floor! With 4 inch heels the dress just skimmed the ground. A lot of the girls who asked where I got it from had never herd of Rent the Runway so I told them all about how easy and convenient the whole process was. I definitely recommend this dress if you want a show stopper, you want to turn heads, and you want your date to be proud to have you on their arm! With out a doubt I will use Rent the Runway again! I'm hooked!

After reading other reviews online for this dress, I ordered one size down from my normal size and I'm glad I did. I got 6 and 8 and ended wearing the 6. The 8 would have fit in the waist, but left too much room in the bust and the arm holes were too large. I am 5'3 and had to hem the dress about 1.5 inches. Overall the dress was amazing. I got compliments on it all night. It sparkled so much when I walked and danced. Cons would be: the cheap quality of the zipper. At first it took 3 people to pull it up. After working it up and down a few times, we finally got it to where my husband could do it himself, but I would never have been able to get dressed alone. This was true for both sizes of the dress. Also, by the end of the night, the inside of my arms were scratched raw by the sequins, although I pretty much knew that going in when I chose sequins. Overall I am very happy that I chose this dress. I felt like a million bucks all night, and most of all, my husband's eye was on me the entire time, and he couldn't stop telling me how beautiful I looked.

The dress fit true to size. I am 5'10" and wore 2.5 in heels and it just grazed the ground. If you (like me) have a long torso and fairly long waist, it is probably not the most flattering fit. It made me look a bit wider than I am. I wore a bra with it and it didn't show at all. I would definitely use RTR again, it was super fast and easy and convenient.

IT WAS COMFORTABLE! It has straps so I wasn't constantly trying to hold it up! It was a dinner party and I could eat to my hearts content and still feel great in this dress! There are few opportunities I will ever have to wear a floor-length sequined dress. I decided for our engagement photos, I would make that one of them, and this dress was perfect! Definitely runs large - I sized down, and the length was perfect with some fancy Guess heels (I'm 5'11"). I could've worn a regular bra, but I didn't think about how deep the front would be, so I went without and was just fine (even with a 36DD chest).
