I'm usually a size four, but I had to go up a size b/c I thought it ran small in the waist, hip, thigh area. The six fit much better overall, but then was roomy up top (I'm a 34B). Overall, this dress did the job, but it's not my favorite. Also, the dress was a little worn out... the ruching was starting to come a little loose.

I am in between a size 8 and 10. Size 10 wasn't available. The 8 fit but hugged every curve and was really tight...i have a big butt and wider hips. I am 5'8 and i loved the length. I didnt end up wearing this bc i fell in love with my back up dress. It was much more comfortable and flattering. The best thing i did when deciding between the 2 was taking a pic in each. when a flash hits this dress, it looks completely different. i think if i would have got the 10, it would have been a winner. its hot!

I received so many compliments when I wore this dress. The details at the top of the bust were gorgeous and I loved the metallic under-layer. Material was very substantial and slimming. I have a large bust (34G) and I had to go for the larger of the 2 sizes because of it. Definitely a great dress for an hourglass shape.

I didn't wear this dress because the zipper did not lay flat enough against my back so I wasn't a fan, however, luckily I also ordered another dress at the same time. My advice, if you have a chance to order a backup for $25, it is well worth it!!

I actually was not able to wear the dress. The lining underneath the chiffon is silver and I am soooo pale that on me it gave the effect of me being naked with just a chiffon covering. Even in the picture of the model if you know to look for that you can even see the effect on her. Beautiful dress, great material, well made, fit like a glove, great support. I just REALLY REALLY wish I could have worn it!! On all tanner women this dress will be gorgeous, but the paler ones will need to pass on it.

This dress is beautiful and I loved it! I'm 5'4" and it was a little longer on me than I was hoping, but I still loved it. The only thing I'll mention is that the dress is very heavy. It's very well made but there is a lot of fabric and I was surprised at the weight of the dress.

This dress was beautiful and I got a ton of compliments on it. It really emphasizes a small waist and hugs the hips perfectly. They only problem is that I am very busty and the strapless top didn't stay up all that well, even with a bustier on under it. I would recommend this for girls with C cup or lower. It also shows every bump, so if you don't have the flattest tummy I'd suggest Spanx.

I rented three dresses in a 6, and this was the only one that didn't fit. Not only did it not fit, it seemed two sizes too small. The other thing is that my hips are wider, and that's usually my fit issue, but I couldn't zip this up past my waist (my chest is not large). Size up! A gorgeous dress otherwise.

This dress is a real showstopper! The surprising thing is that it is actually really comfortable. I didn't even need spanx. I did however use Hollywood tape to pull up the lining. It hangs down a bit longer than the outer layer. Be warned, if you have a large chest, you should go up a size. The dress is strapless so it has to the snug to stay up. I am a pretty standard 8, but the 10 fit like a glove. The routing is very flattering. I paired it with the Badgley Mischka showstopper earrings. Dynamite!

This is a great dress to rent because its stretchy and will conform to your body. Both sizes I ordered fit, it was just a matter of how much of the underneath layer shows through - the larger size looked more "black" and the smaller size looked more "bi-color". Anyway, the rushing is flattering and its long enough to be classy, not trashy :) Enjoy!

this dress looks great! i have an hourglass figure and it was very flattering. even if you don't have a perfectly flat stomach, the rouching (spelling?) helps a lot.. it's pretty form fitting --- i got two sizes and wore the larger, you may want to consider doing the same. overall, highly recommended. as mentioned in the title of this review, i got a ton of compliments on the dress and made my city's party pages.

This dress was the perfect cocktail dress for a date night I had. I definitely think it tends to run on the smaller side. If you're like me and self conscious of your stomach, you might want to reconsider this dress...it shows everything, despite the ruching. It is very form fitting, the beading is beautiful. My only complaint about this dress is the back. It kept bunching up after I had zipped it, which made it look like it didn't fit properly in the back.

It's a beautiful dress, however on my body type it just didn't fit properly. The dress is made with many layers and has a lot of boning to get it's shape, however due to this it added a couple of inches to my already small body, and it did not flatter my body type. This was my back up dress style choice, but it gave my main dress a run for its money! I almost wore this one instead, but the other style was just a bit more beautiful. I will DEFINITELY rent this dress again so I can actually wear it. Although I didn't spend a night wearing it, in trying it on, it fit tight enough up top to hold everything in place, but without smooshing my breasts down the way a lot of strapless dresses do (I wore a strapless bra with it). It was sexy & the detail is beautiful. I definitely WINNER! (that was October) ..... I rented it as my main dress this past weekend (11/19/2011) because I was dying to wear it. The size 8 zipper was broke so I wore the size 6. The 6 fit but was definitely tight (though it didn't look it). After sitting in the dress, the center fabric around my waist bunched up & no matter what I did I couldn't get it to lay right again. I was so frustrated, had to run up to my room & change. I still got a few good hours out of it. I am contemplating renting it again despite the middle area issue...I got so many compliments...guys love this dress.

This is a very sexy dress! I rented it for a wedding I attended a few weeks ago. The dress was knee length on me but very fitted. It runs small -- I am usually a 4/6 in dresses, but I wore an 8 in this style. One complaint -- the zipper sticks, so it is tough to zip on your own. Other than that, I was pleased with the dress, it looked nice and I got a lot of compliments on it.

I usually take a 4, so I ordered a 4 and a 6. The 6 ended up fitting. The 4 was just too tight to zip up. Everyone loved the dress - I got so many complements! Pros: could wear without a bra and feel supported still. Hugged every curve and stayed up all night. Cons: the bottom of the dress kept riding up a bit when I walked, so I had to keep pulling it down. Not a major problem though.

This was the first dress I rented and I absolutely loved it. The picture doesn't do this dress justice (and I was a bit hesitant to rent it because of it) because it is a very classy, albeit sexy, dress. It was very flattering and I got a ton of compliments at the wedding I wore it to (the bride's grandmother said it was "stunning"). I love this dress!
