The fit was great. It hugged my body in all the right places. The sleeves were not a big deal but when you first put the dress on they feel awkward. The dress is not a rose pink AT ALL. It is definitely without a doubt, CHAMPAGNE! So make sure you plan accordingly (because I obviously didn't lol). I am 5'5 and I like wearing tall heels so if you don't want your feet to show I would suggest getting the dress in a Long. Regardless, people came up to me all night complimenting me on how classy and glamorous I looked. Not only did I look like a million bucks, I felt like it too! This dress is amazing and I would recommend it to any and everyone. I will definitely be using RTR again!

This dress is incredible and the simplicity will make anyone shine. On the model, the dress looks lighter in color and the fabric looks thinner than it actually is in person.The color is definitely more of a rich champagne (so buy jewelry accordingly) and it's actually fairly sturdy. (Sturdy enough to flatter any body type!) It's also EXTREMELY comfortable and felt fantastic the entire night. The only word to describe this dress: breathtaking.

I was a little nervous trying this dress on because I wasn't sure if the 2 would fit ok because there was no 4 backup. I tried it on and it was the perfect fit! It stretches to fit your body and was also the perfect length. I wore about 2 inch heels so I was around 5' 7" with the heels on. I couldn't tell you how many compliments I got on it! People said I had the most gorgeous dress and I felt like a movie star, especially since our prom's theme was A Night With Gatsby! You'll love this dress!!!

I wore this dress to prom and received so many compliments on how beautiful the dress was. It runs very true to size, perhaps slightly bigger in the waist. The length is perfect with high heels. The dress is surprisingly flexible and easy to dance in. Despite the picture, the actual dress is more of a rosey-gold/silver color, but very flattering. You will need to wear a backless bra since the back slouches. I was worried because I ordered the dress the day of the dance, but it arrived promptly with both sizes. Will use RTR often!

This was actually my second dress choice. The first fit beautifully as well and my husband and daughter loved it but when I put this gold one on, my husband told me I wasn't allowed to walk out with this dress! Color is VERY different from the picture. It's ROSE GOLD and not yellow gold as depicted so plan accordingly. If you're my height (5'6) and you get the regular wear 3 inch shoes. Trust me! Anything shorter and the dress will drag onto the floor, anything higher and you see your feet when you stand straight - not cool.

This was my first time using RTR, and I can assure you that it will NOT be my last! I was nervous ordering since I was gambling with not being sure if it would fit and not being able to get it tailored... But the dress was PERFECT. it couldn't have fit better. I ordered the long instead of regular length and wore 4 inch heels, and it was the perfect length. I felt like I was going to the Oscars, not prom. I received amazing compliments all night. I wore this to a charity gala and it fit perfectly! I am very happy I ordered the long. My only complaint is that the lining kept riding up and twisting, it wasn't very noticeable, just annoying. I received an insane amount of compliments on the gown. The blush/gold color is so pretty!

I ordered this dress for my school's gala and it was the best decision I've ever made! After speaking with the stylists and reading various reviews, I decided to go with the 4L and 6L. At the last minute, I was informed the 6L was not available and the stylists were SUPER accommodating and added another dress to my order. I wasn't sure the 4L would fit, but the material is stretchy, very forgiving, and surprisingly lightweight. I wore spanx underneath but definitely optional. I also wore a backless bra, however, in the picture I went braless. Extremely elegant dress and I got compliments all night!

I wore this to a black tie bday party at NYC's Plaza hotel. In a sea of black dresses this stood out. It fit perfectly with a little give so I could eat and dance comfortably. The stunning back was so great. I did have to wear pasted bra cups (because the back was cut low) and the length was a little short for any high heels (not a prob for me - but if you like 'em high, I'd get long). Only other issue was that the sequins got caught on a few of things but nothing too terrible. GREAT DRESS.

I'm 5'3 weighing in at 115 pounds. The size 2R fit me nearly perfectly when I had on my heels and truly stood out from any other prom dresses I had seen. The only con I would have for this dress is that the sleeves are a little uncomfortable but other than that it's an sensational dress and not one negative thing was said about it!

This is the prettiest dress I have ever worn to a dance. Prom was perfect thanks to Rent the Runway! It fits true to size, and if you want it especially form fitting order down, dont worry about ordering up, it stretches just enough to fit you like a glove, in fact, it doesn't have a zipper because it is supposed to slip on and stretch around you perfectly. The back is stunning is well, the model picture cannot do this dress justice!

I received this dress as part of the VIP Showroom Experience for loyal RTR customers. Absolutely LOVE this dress! Love. Love. Love. Just slip over your head and it clings to all the right places in your body. The back is also gorgeous... nice draping (couldn't get a good shot of the back with my self timer - sorry!). It's also very comfortable. I will definitely rent this dress when I have an occasion. Only thing I would change is I would order the 8R not the 8L. I needed obnoxiously high heels for the 8L - and coupled with the slight tail... it's just a recipe for getting stepped on all night.

The dress fit like a glove but the only problem was that I ordered a 2L; if you are about 5'6", I would recommend the regular because I had to wear heals that were about 5 inches. Other than the length, the dress came brand new and I even got a small gift from the company. I would recommend this dress for Prom. It was beautiful!

Well, the dress was gorgeous! But, I ordered the 2 and 4 long sizes (I'm 5'9 3/4") and they were both way too short...I would not have been able to wear any heel with either of them. I'm disappointed they didn't work but I would suggest renting the dress if you don't have much height to you because it is a jaw-dropper!
