I received so many compliments on the dress! As other reviews stated, it has a gray underlay so the dress is darker than the picture shows. I actually loved the dress the darker color. My dress did have a small area on the lace around my neck that was loose but you could not see it when I wore it. I loved the dress!

As others have noted, the dress is a bit darker and more silver/grey than it appears. I actually ended up liking that better, instead of a stark white. Everyone loved the dress and I felt like a true bride-to-be!

Being somewhat bustier than the model pictured, the amount of cleavage exposed left me a little uncomfortable. However, a simple modesty panel of material that matched the dress sorted that out. We wanted a dress that wasn't the traditional marshmallow puff and that I could feel comfortable in wandering around Chicago post wedding, and this fit the bill nicely. The muted grey meant that my blue accessories (especially the shoes) were colorful highlights and a silver slinky bracelet complimented the dress. I was very happy with the way I looked, and the service provided by Rent-The-Runway. having a second size option, took the stress off. A little warning though, if you have a slight tummy then the Empire line can make you look pregnant, so have a good selection of underthings to test the dress with.

This is probably the most AMAZING dress I've ever had on my body! It is SO gorgeous! I rented it for a "black and white" themed wedding. I didn't read the details and went by the picture and it looks white/cream. It really has a grey underlay, but it didn't matter a bit! It is so flattering and forgiving to your mid-section which I loved. I wore simple gold accessories and nude shoes! RENT THIS!

I absolutely LOVED this dress! I was looking everywhere for a dress for my bridal shower, and this was exactly what I'd hoped for. Received several compliments. Paired with pink pearl jewerly and nude open-toe pumps. It can be too low cut for some, but I opted to wear a nude cami underneath and it wasn't a problem. Also, agree with others, more of a grey/tan than a white as it is in the picture. Rent it-you won't regret it!

I rented this dress for my civil ceremony wedding in Savannah, GA. It was light weight and comfortable. The dress was a little loose, so I think I should have gotten an 8. I was unsure if the 8 would still fit (I'm pregnant and didn't know if my belly would be showing yet.), so I got the 10.

Rented this as an option for my wedding dress (got married at the courthouse). When it came both sizes (0,2) were way too big. The material was a lot cheaper looking than pictured and the color was much more brown. Not the pretty lace dress pictured!

The dress ran REALLY large. I am normally a size 2 but I got the zero and 2 and even the zero was huge on me. My family said I looked like I was wearing a potato sack. I'm not sure if it was stretched out of if all the dresses run so large. Otherwise it was great - I am flat chested and it looked very classy and beautiful. The length was just above the knee making it a very classy and beautiful dress!

Gorgeous dress, but not for busty or curvy girls!

This is a beautiful dress, and it looks great online and in person. The problem, however, is the model: she is a B cup, tops, and has no "real girl" curves. So on normal girls-- you know, those of us with boobs and hips-- this dress falls short of the dream. My "girls" were in view all evening, and the tie-back really only succeeded in making me look preggers. In fact, my boyfriend's aunt told me, "honey, that dress really did not do you justice." Ouch. Now, I've gained some weight this year, but I'm a size 10 and a 36 C/D most days, so it's not like I was wearing spandex or anything. Again, gorgeous dress, but I'm glad it was my "extra" and not my "only" for my boyfriend's graduation weekend.

This is a gorgeous Dress. I had rented 3 dresses for my Bridal Shower. RTR was amazing and total concierge service, stayed in contact with me all week, made sure I had enough options and that everything got to me on time. It fit me well, but I chose another dress to wear. However, I would rent this dress again for a different occasion! Thankyou RTR!! :*)

I wore this dress to my bridal shower. It was beautiful, and I got many compliments on it. This dress has a light blush-pink lace over a dark grey liner. The lace was just pink enough that I could not wear the jewelry and shoes that I planned. I ended up wearing white, pink, and black pearls and sand-colored shoes. Taupe shoes would also work. Anna Sui dresses tend to run slightly large. I usually wear a 10 or 12. The 8 fit perfectly. Also note: the neckline is a lot sexier than it looks on the model. On a C cup, it was slightly plunging (still covered my bra) and showed more cleavage than appears on the model in the photo, but not too much cleavage.

I rented this dress for my bridal shower- I realized afteer I rented this dress that it looked low cut and may be inappropriate to wear with family. I cotacted RTR to switch out this dress for another but this dress had already shipped. Customer service was great and said that they would send me my other selection for $25 so that if it was too low cut I would have another option. Unfortunately there was an error with the warehouse and I never received the other option :( So I wore this dress anyways. It fit well but as I expected my clevage was out of control with this low V. I ended up wearing a black cami, black tights and really cute shoes with this and it ened up being ok. Not what I wanted but at least I was not flashing all of my aunts! So Big chest...beware and plan to have a cami under this.

I almost always wear a 10 and the consultant recommended that I order a size up for my extra since the dress doesn't have any stretch. Unfortunately even the 10 was too large on me so I would say order down for your second size. I got tons of compliments on the dress. People kept asking me where I got it and when I said it was rented everyone said I should buy it!
