Barneys announced that Lady Gaga will be the face of their holiday campaign, and will be reinterpreting Santa's Workshop to take over a whole floor of their Madison Avenue store. Opening in mid-November, the store will offer limited-edition small gift items designed by Gaga and Barneys. We can hardly wait to see the store decor that will no doubt rival some of Gaga's craziest creations.
We are going gaga for this goat milk soft serve on Carmine Street where owner and proprietress Sophia mixes up the most delectable afternoon treats. Try the chocolate rosemary/salted caramel twist with chocolate crunch.
Only a few more weeks till one of our favorite times of year: Fashion Week. What better way to kick it off than with the best Fashion's Night Out yet. With their new FNO NYC Guide app, you can plan your itenerary on the go and make sure you don't miss out on the night's best events. We'll most definitely be downloading this!
Delicious juice and sandwich chain out of Copenhagen. Bring it to the U.S. please!
On a recent trip to Ibiza, Jenn and some friends chartered a boat one day and motored over to the gorgeous white-sand isle of Formentera that feels more Caribbean that Mediterranean. You drive your boat up to the restaurant, they come to pick you up in a mini shuttle boat and take you to their paella palace in the sand. No shoes allowed and rose consumption encouraged! Pretty much paradise.
H&M's higher end brand is quietly growing in Europe and Lara promises it is spectacular. We're hearing rumors that 2012 could bring an NYC store, but in the meantime, be sure to check it out next time you swing through any major European city.
A few of us are huge Kombucha advocates (and addicts) and are dying to try their latest flavor, Cherry Chia. Can it beat out Gingerberry as our favorite?
On Saturdays in August NYC closes Park Avenue to cars and opens it to people. The 7-mile stretch of car-free streets is perfect for biking, running, or simply enjoying NYC in a new way.
An Off-Broadway revival of RENT opened last week at the New World Stages in NYC. We can't wait to catch this epic production again!
